How to watch the State of the Union on NBC? Ear Plugs in , Blinders on. Standing in ovation, clapping, glass of Kool-aid on the coffee table. That's the Democratic way. Republican way- Doritos and beer, change the channel. Maybe watch a movie.

The republicans lost the election because they don't get it. They have their ideas and that's all that makes sense to them. You could learn something with your eyes and ears open. Where is the bill, written by congress, passed and sent to the senate and passed, and sent to the President for his thumbs up or down. There is none because the a-holes in Washington can't do their jobs from their lack of compromising position.

Your blinders should come off, and look for this bill. Where is it? Congress is dead locked by blind followers of WHAT?

If I want to hear lies, I can hear them on any network that's showing a politician talking. NBC has no monopoly on broadcasting BS. Screw that. Couldn't care less.

Go to Faux News where republican propaganda is pushed 24/7. Fox is to journalism as @!$%# is to food.

Go to NBC News, where Liberal propaganda is pushed by Editing the hearing of Newtown Father, Jeffrey Meyer.

@!$%# is to food as NBC is to journalism...

Folks with an interest in the true picture of Washington's workings, or not workings, should listen to all of the above, and decide what is close to the truth. Absolutely every one portrays a story with their personal slant. That is what happens. A person with a real interest, has to search for the truth, where ever the truth lies. Reading these comments, one can easily see how our elected Representatives can chose to cuddle up with those that think alike.

The problem is that politics is stronger in these guys thoughts than the good of the folks they represent.

I voted for this President, because I, as a resident of MA, saw first hand how Mit served the rich first in every choice he made as governor. We'd be in deep dudu, if he had won, with the GOP run congress and him hell bent on feeding the rich, we'd be broker, at war some more, and medicare and social security would be lost. Notice how well he handled losing. He blamed everybody except himself and what he was trying to sell.

Most of us chose wisely. The voters have chosen and we need to do right for the voters and our country. A little respect would be a good start.

It's good to see the president follow up his speech by going around the US to campaign for his agenda. He needs to go directly to the people and get them to force Congress to act on his ideas. If he doesn't get America involved the teabaggers will keep any votes from occurring.

"force Congress to act on his ideas" LOL what a moronic thing to say.

But if he could I bet he would. But alas he can't, remember, about half the voters didn't even vote for him.

Whether the people voted for Obama or not, we as the public have a RIGHT to force Congress to do their job, so stfu if you can only whine about something and do nothing to change things. WE are the employers of the government, not the other way around.

              #33.2 - Tue Feb 12, 2013 6:54 AM EST

Their job isn't to always do what Obama wants them to do... Or else there wouldn't be a need for a Congress..

This country is run democratically. That means, for you folks that think we are still running, that the results of the election mean that the choice of the majority is the direction we should go. If in a future election, if the direction changes, that would also be the choice of the majority. If only 51% voted for this winner, and he did get much more, than as an American, the voice of the voters should be reflected in the policies in Washington. The election is over and the winners get to guide the system. The losers need to step back, and take a hard look at where they went wrong, and maybe learn from what is happening. History is supposed to teach us by example. If all we do, when things don't go our way, is to have a hissy fit, and call people names, we all lose.

Lets do all we can to guide or representatives in a productive direction.

I see it everyday when I get gas, and when I go to the store to buy groceries. I see it in my take home pay. Bet NBC won't tell it like it really is and I know Obama won't.

Welcome to becoming a bilingual nation. From this day forward if your children don't learn spanish, the language of the ghetto, they will not be able to find employment in America. This country has betrayed it's own citizens and now I am ready to betray it. Don't ask me to pledge to the flag, sign the national anthem, or be a patriot as long as this country is becoming a part of Latin America.

I will wacht the State of the Union speech to learn what is that real good americans should do for our country to continue our recovery and then listen to the two replies of the speech of the President from the Republican rebels to learn what is that bad politicians are doing to keep working americans struggling.

I'm thinking it will be a good time to watch a movie instead. Unless I watch something like Star Wars, it will definitely be less blue team blaming red team for all the dysfunction in Washington/Empire. Both sides need to start doing the job they were elected for and stop bickering amongst themselves. The founding fathers would be knocking heads on the floor if they could see this current state of ridiculousness that goes on at captiol hill.

                    Give MSNBC Credit,

They are at least willing to admit the people who believe the @!$%# spewed on this site are stupid enough to not know how to "watch the SoU" and thus need a set of directions.

Of course that means that would have to take a break from drug dealing, Using drugs, Burning their #ebt funds (let's be real, its the 12th, that @!$%# was gone a week ago), poking each other in the ass with their queer dicks, hang up their obama phones, spreading their legs to gain an additional welfare baby. Applying for jobs. Ha wait what? Just Kidding.

Well on second thought, they've all probably pretty much learned how to multi-task these daily life tasks so doing it tomorrow night should be nbd.

FIRST- MSNBC will sway/scew whatever his holiness Hussein Obama says. He can do no wrong in MSNBC's eyes so they will not address how he alone is driving this country into bankruptcy and creating a true welfare state of Do Nothings. No, MSNBC IS HAND-IN-HAND with this guy.

SECOND- NEVER think MSNBC is fair and balanced in there reporting. Just listen to their far left Liberal anchors, then turn them and their sponsors off for good.

Well, let's see. Since I'm not one to have the TV on while sitting at my computer with my iPad and smart phone sitting on my desk (did I leave anything out?), I think I'll just turn on the TV and watch ABC News.

For those who do not believe in evolution, just wait a few hundred years to see humans evolve a second set of arms for all the devices they try to use at the same time. Then again, with a government-mandated microchip implanted in everyone's brain (for tracking purposes), there will not be a need for devices. Always connected, 24/7/365. The future is here.

Really, does Brian Willams and his writers really think all Americans are too stupid to form their own conclusions? But Mr. Williams truly cannot report the news withou his slant. It is totally obvioius he worships Mr. Obama.

I can't believe that Tom Brokaw recommended him as his sucessor!

Visit the Neweum in DC someday. It is slanted to justify how news is reported in this day and age. Why is it Freedom of the Press cannot shut up some of these commentators but a criminal with a handgun justifies messing with the Right to bear Arms.

I hope that we look carefully at the constitution to see how impeachment proceedings can be brought against Mr. Obama and Chief Justice Roberts. They both need to go (or was that the threat Obama made to Roberts if he did vote for the Health Care (fraud) bill?)
