The campaigning is over.
After months of intense — and often negative — campaigning between President Barack Obama and his Republican opponent, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, voters headed to polls across the country on Tuesday to render their verdict in America's presidential election.
The election would settle the question of which man would lead the United States for the next four years, but a great deal of uncertainty awaited the winner of the election. Either Obama or Romney will almost immediately have to face the so-called “fiscal cliff,” the cocktail of automatic spending cuts (especially to defense) and tax hikes set to take effect at the beginning of the year unless Congress acts.
1st Election Day votes cast at midnight -- and it's a tie in Dixville Notch
Those challenges, the prospect of a “grand bargain” to address mounting national debt, and a variety of other issues confronted both the candidates and the tens of millions of voters expected to cast ballots on Tuesday.
But both campaigns fought hard for months for the right to face those challenges.
President Obama and Mitt Romney's travel schedules reveal the states that would help them attain the necessary amount of electoral votes to take the White House. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.
The dominant issue of the election was the economy — specifically whether Obama had done enough in four years to improve upon the profound recession that had just begun to take hold in the closing weeks of his 2008 campaign.
Romney argued that his business acumen uniquely qualified him as an alternative to the president, an assertion which Obama and his supporters challenged throughout the campaign.
Romney, Obama hit must-win states in 'barnburner' campaign day
The election played out in recent months amid green shoots of economic recovery; the U.S. added almost 1.6 million jobs so far during the 2012 calendar year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Still, Republicans, led by Romney, argued that this wasn't enough, pointing toward the far rosier projections of recovery issued in the early days of the Obama administration.
The question of whether Obama had earned a second term, or if Romney was a sufficiently competent replacement, played out across a handful of battleground states that will decide the election's outcome.
Your Election Day photos: Show us what you see at the polls
Some of those states — Iowa, New Hampshire, Florida and Ohio — were familiar battlegrounds that have swung between Democratic and Republican candidates in recent presidential elections.
Pollsters divide the state of Ohio into five regions: coal country, northeastern Ohio, the auto belt, the Columbus area and the Cincinnati region. Currently, Obama is doing well in the north and has also made inroads in coal country – but the real area to watch is the auto belt where Romney will return to campaign Tuesday. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.
Other swing states reflected slow changes in political demographics; Obama has put states like Virginia, North Carolina, Colorado, and Nevada into play partially due to changes in those states' populations.
Romney, meanwhile, pressed the GOP cause in Wisconsin, a more reliably Democratic state in national elections that has emerged as an unlikely hotbed for a new generation of reform-minded, conservative politicians (including Romney's running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan).
Both Romney and the president spent much of the final few days making multiple stops in those few battleground states, repeating a refined and practiced speech to crowds numbering in the thousands — sometimes the tens of thousands.
From Afghanistan to Venezuela, Obama vs. Romney battle captivates
Obama's schedule for the final day took him to Wisconsin, Ohio and Iowa – the states comprising his Midwestern "firewall," which his campaign hopes will insulate the incumbent against GOP victories in other battleground states.
"We've made real progress, Ohio, but the reason why we're here is because we've got more work to do," the president told a crowd in Columbus on Monday.
The President traveled more than 1000 miles Monday, visiting the three Midwestern battleground states critical to his re-election. NBC's Kristen Welker reports from Des Moines, Iowa.
"Our fight goes on because America always does best when everybody gets a fair shot and everybody does their fair share and everybody plays by the same rules. That's what we believe. That's why you elected me in 2008. And that's why I'm running for a second term for president of the United States."
Romney's last day on the campaign trail featured stops in arguably the three most critical battleground states: Ohio, Virginia, and Florida.
He wrapped the day with a rally in New Hampshire, the state which served as the cornerstone for Romney's bid for the GOP presidential nomination earlier this year and which neighbors Massachusetts, where he served as governor and where his campaign is headquartered.
Telling crowds in Florida that 'this nation is going to change for the better tomorrow,' GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney rallied voters by saying he would break the gridlock in Washington. NBC's Peter Alexander reports from Columbus, Ohio.
Romney has leaned upon his experience as governor – and, before that, as a venture capitalist – to make the case as to why voters should expel Obama and elect him instead.
“The president promised change but he just couldn't deliver it,” Romney told a crowd in northern Virginia on Monday. “I not only promise change, I have a record of achieving it.”

Many voters were set to endure a time-honored tradition – waiting in long lines – on Election Day, though the portrait of the electorate tomorrow might not tell the full story of the 2012 election.
Many voters, encouraged by both the Obama and Romney campaigns, have cast their ballot prior to Nov. 6. Thirty percent of voters said in this weekend’s NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that they had already cast a ballot, a proportion that could be even higher in battleground states.
Final national NBC/WSJ poll before the election: Obama 48 percent, Romney 47 percent
Polls often show that Obama leads Romney among early voters, meaning that the Republican nominee must perform better among voters who actually head to the polls Tuesday.
The president’s campaign has also sought to take advantage of changing demographics throughout the campaign, a strategy that could pay dividends. Obama has courted young voters and gay and lesbian voters, but especially Latino and women voters.
Analysts are predicting that the new Senate may be even more narrowly divided than it is now. NBC's Kelly O'Donnell reports.
The president has made a point of assailing Romney’s approach to contraception and abortion rights and his campaign has sought to link the Republican nominee to remarks about rape by several Republican Senate candidates. Obama led Romney, 51 percent to 43 percent, among women in the final NBC/WSJ poll.
Obama also seized upon Romney’s hard-charging rhetoric toward illegal immigrants during the primary, and announced new regulations over the summer ceasing efforts to deport undocumented citizens who were brought to the U.S. as children.
Six splitting headaches for the next president
The unifying issue among all those voters, however, was most certainly the economy.
Romney entered Election Day with an advantage over Obama on the raw question of which candidate voters said was better prepared to create jobs and boost the economy; 47 percent of voters in the final NBC/WSJ voters said that candidate was Romney, versus 42 percent who said that for the president.

But Obama also leads Romney by 11 percentage points on the question of which candidate better looks out for the middle class. Fifty-two percent of likely voters also said they thought the economy was improving, a sign that the U.S. has finally begun to climb out from the depths of the recession.
NBC's Tom Brokaw speaks with young voters grappling with a distrust of the political system.
But as the hours on campaign 2012 ticked down, Obama seemed on Saturday night to acknowledge a hard truth: much of his and Romney’s fates were out of their hands at this point, left to voters who would ultimately have their say on Tuesday.
“We’re props,” Obama recounted telling a top adviser during his campaign travels that day. “Because what’s happened is that now the campaign falls on these 25-year-old kids who are out there knocking on doors, making phone calls, and then we realized, you know, pretty soon after they do their jobs then they’re not relevant either because it’s now up to you.”

Even the Salt Lake Tribune, Utah's largest newspaper, is endorsing President Obama! The NY Times says Obama is a 92% favorite to win! It's time to tell Willard to tie Ryan to the top of his Cadillac and GO AWAY!

Get out and VOTE, folks! Reelect President Obama! He is clearly our only rational choice!
It's hard to endorse a candidate who doesn't have a platform. Romney is white and presidential looking, I'm not sure what else there is to justify voting for him.
You're through OBAMA.
Clean out your desk.
Be out of the White House by Inauguration Day.
And don't steal anything like Clinton did!
You're either drunk or dangerously insane, Am.Vets, if you think Romney is going to win. Well, you have one last day to cling to your pathetic fantasies, then President Obama will give his victory speech. Enjoy your hallucinations while they last...

You must be one of those OBAMA COMMIES who believe the more American jobs that go to Mexicans, the better America will be.
I'm suprized you didn't say it in SPANISH.
Romney, Presidential Looking? He looks more like one of the stone carvings on Easter Island. Just looks off in a direction with an empty look in there eyes.
Romney! a clear choice End Socialism and Obama's vision of a Weak welfare state of America..
Please no one vote for Barry Soetoro A.K.A
Barack Husein Obama. This is for real he is an imposter! The examiner is

Spew away little libby, spew away. Even if your guy is re-elected, the House will still be in Republicans hands, and their sole job will be to prevent any more of Obama's big government legislation from being passed. And before your libs start your verbal diarrhea over a "do nothing" House, remember that Harry "Cadaver" Reid has already said if Romney wins, he won't work with him.
Just remember, fellow citizens,
Every time the Republicans and Tea Party members in Congress blocked the President, they were blocking the Americans who voted for him as well.
Come on Willard; give it up; you've been campaigning for the presidency for the past 8 years, and today should be the day that you and Ann sit back and watch your butt get kick.
No, the Electoral College renders the final verdict! Your democracy in action!!!
DrMan, so you admit that the GOP is more concerned with politics than doing what's best for this country.
I'm curious as to why the GOP hates America so badly.
OBAMA was feeding Latin America COMMUNISTS on US taxpayer dollars.
Wait till tonight. Landslide Romney. Tears in your beers libtard. Go get a JOB now!
All of you that are voting for Romney are 90% IGNORANT ABOUT WHAT THIS MAN STANDS FOR. You are turning your avatar against yourself!!!!
Nobody knows why he is running for president, other than just serving his EGO, and all of you are his SHEEP!
pfft!
Get it right..............VOTE WHITE!
Amvets;
You've got it wrong, now go back to your bong.
America, we are free of our biggest threat.. OBL.
Today, we can free ourselves of our next biggest threat. Mitt Romney.
VOTE Obama/Biden 2012.
Obama, Biden and Holder raised their right hands and swore to uphold the laws and Constitution of this Country. They have failed. They have ignored promises on transparency, they have skirted laws, and they have ignored the enforcement of others and bankrupted our kids / grandkids futures!!!
They have violated the trust of the American people and are terrible examples of what an ethical administration should look like. That oath means something. Ask any man or woman in the military today or any law enforcement officer.
American can't wait for a Romney administration, and a larger, ethical and truly impartial Justice Dept. We'll need one.... they are going to be busy investigating many of the decisions of the last four years.
Obama uninstall….. ███████████████▒ 99.99% complete
Romney / Ryan – If you care for your kid’s futures, It’s real simple !!
true colors showing for you AM..you turd...too bad that idiot romney is going to lose. repubs amaze me. they try to talk an intelligent game but i have to tell you, Romney hasnt even said what he is going to do and you guys are flocking to him..the man does not have a plan..he is just a warm body for you and the worst repub candidate in history.
Am.Vets: You are a racist disgrace to everything the United States of America stands for, has fought for over the years. You are an embarrassment to this great nation. You are also a disgrace to the beautiful message of love given the world by Jesus Christ.
If Obama becomes president again, that shows the prophecies from the Bible are indeed true.
The Bible had foreseen this moment.
"A weak leader rises to power and the end times commence"
NO to communism
Funny.. God is not mentioned anywhere in the United States Constitution. I don't recall any president taking an oath to server, protect, and defend the bible either. The bible prophecies have no place in our government. Maybe we should start taxing the churches
P.S, If we are going to say no to Communism, Vote Obama. The GOP Socialist agenda to redistribute wealth from the lower/middle class to the rich and corporations is what got us in this mess in the first place.
Christie: Call from Springsteen made me weep
Hope you're reading this America.
communism..the weak one you speak of us Romney..he is a spineless shuffle walking knuckle dragging rich boy..who cant buy this election
Romney's whole economic plan is based on a lie. The Congressional Research Council report shows that giving tax breaks to the rich does not create jobs. It does not help the economy. The republicans have been lying to us all along. Kick all the bums out. Vote.
I will be casting my vote for Obama when the polls open in about 20 minutes.
I remember how it was when he took the helm in the White House:
Want a repeat OF THAT??!!
Then join me in voting a straight Democratic ticket and throw out the republican pestilence that has been a parasite on our people for far too long. Make the repubs get a real job and put them to work off the government dole for once in their miserable lives.
OBAMA/BIDEN today, now. The battle is joined!
Wrong. The conservatives in congress were voted in by their constituents specifically to STOP Obama from implementing his Marxist reforms. That means they did the job they were voted in to do.
Romney or Obama? No thank you. I'm writing in Ron Paul. My vote doesn't count in New York State so please don't even say that by writing in Ron Paul I'm voting for Obama. I actually had to explain how elections work to some Republican activists yesterday as they were going door to door...Jesus Christ himself could beam down from heaven and run for president but wouldn't be able to win New York unless there was a "D" next to his name.
Just because Romney is a businessman doesn't make him qualified to be president solely on that basis...We had Jon Corzine here in NJ and although he was a Goldman Sachs executive (who made a lot of money), he was an utter failure as governor which is how we got Chris Christie...I don't buy the argument that a businessman automatically makes a good president...NJ had that experience and it was a disaster. There are qualities of a leader that are far more important than personal accumulation of wealth and BO understands the struggles of the average person. He wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Mitt Romney wants to be president so bad, that he will say whatever it takes to get your vote, no matter how sincere he pretends to be. Its tough to be to the left of Ted Kennedy and then swing back to the far right in the Republican Primaries. Its Election Day and after 6 years of his presidential run, do we still yet know what he stands for other than being the guy who is running against Obama?
If you make less than $250K/yr and you 're thinking about voting Republican, it 's like playing russian roulette with all chambers loaded.
There would be a D next to his name becasue Jesus was a liberal, healed the sick, fed the hungry, ran the money changers out of the temple... sounds kind of liberal to me
A vote for Obama is a vote for cradle to grave Socialist Government. And the American dream is dead for our Children and current University Students striviving to acheive their dreams, and starting a business of their own someday. And the start of bieng enslaved to more taxes and the rich bieng poorer, which will make the poor more poor and more dependant. Thus it begins, the foot hold that the socialists have been looking for.
A vote or Romney is a vote to continue the American dream that has made this country the greatest country on the face of the earth. So when we put our children to bed, we can honestly tell them,"You can grow up and be anything you want to be." Thus, they can dream and aspire to be financially indepentdant, and not a slave to the time clock, through persistence and hard work. God Bless Us, and let the American dream live...
Get out and vote today people.
If Obama is so great why is the race so close ? I predicted and have a Hundred dollar bet that he will win. Why ? because he carries the minority vote even why'll stepping on there throat. Sad day for America it truly is.
Get the popcorn ready kiddies!
It's almost time for the exploding heads to explode!
Bullsh%t Mountain is about to blow!
Obama 2012!
Hispanics brought slaves from Africa long before the start of the 13 colonies began with Jamestown. 95% of all slaves brought to the Americas went to Latin America and the Carribean yet WHITE AMERICA has always been blamed for slavery thanks to COMMUNISTS who seek to destroy the American truth.
And your defending these people?
If I'm the racist, what do you call the HISPANIC SLAVE MERCHANTS WHO WERE SUPPOSED TO DEFEND CHRISTIANITY!!!
Hey Mac, you have it all wrong. Jesus would be a Republican. I don't see how Jesus could support baby murder (aka abortion). You know Jesus supports the sanctity of life.
OBAMA will soon be swimming south across the RIO GRANDE to join "HIS PEOPLE".
All of the connies I know are livid that first Colin Powell, a well respected republican came out and endorsed our President. Then their heads exploded when Bloomberg, another well respected (ex)republican came out and endorsed the POTUS. And now that the republican darling Chris Christie embraced and piled the accolades on our great president my conservative friends just slumped over in their seats in defeat. And now the excuses come pouring out on why they will lose. All I can say is that I can thank god there still a handful of rational thinking republicans out there in a sea of crazy right wing religious zealots also known as "The American Taliban".
Some people have real reasons to vote, others are delusional. *points up*
Pres. O is for 'We the People';
R-money represents money, corporations, Karl Rove, and the Saame Old Bush policies;
The choice is clear to me.
Actually Jesus would be neither Republican or democrat. He said his kingdom was no part of this world.
Romney is great. He is great at what he has spent his life doing:
ENRICHING HIMSELF AT THE EXPENSE OF OTHERS.
Do you really think that electing a corporate concubine will improve your lot?
Whatever happened to this mythological republican rugged individualism?
Why do you people rely on trickle-down crumbs that drop from a wealthy man's table?
Why does an ideology that supposedly worships independence struggle so hard to fasten its lips to the rich man's teat to suckle?
Why does the repub ideology eschew "big government" but labors to divert the government money chute into its bank account?
Vote Freedom.
Vote Democratic today, and always!!
OBAMA/BIDEN now
Anyone who thinks Obama will change the healthcare industry in indeed mistaken. Try going to a doctor today who will accept medicare. Chances are, their quota is full and won't be accepting anymore.
So why does Obama think that making it bigger is the answer?
Vote Romney/Ryan 2012.
Give it a rest,
Did you get that out of the Republican Bible? The Christian Bible does not mention abortion at all. If you're referring to "be fruitful and multiply" then mission accomplished (7 billion up from at most 100 million when it was written,They only knew of about 1 million total).
Everything about Jesus' life puts him firmly in the liberal camp. Read the Bible once in a while, would you.
I have so much emotional capital invested in this Presidential race, that I find it hard not be partisan. I want to be magnanimous.
But, it still hurts to read some of these posts. AMvets, no to communism, etc. So, until tomorrow when the results are in, I'll put aside any bi-partisan feelings that I still feel.
It seems to me, that, we need to strengthen our environmental controls. There just seems to be too much brain damage amongst the RWNB's, and the American Taliban, to explain it away, as accidents of birth and upbringing.
I can't help but see these people as tin foil hatters, drooling, knuckle dragging nit-wits. Denying science, quoting the bible, harbouring racist and bigot tenets.
May the best men win, that assures O & Joe will prevail.
A vote for Mitt you'll need credit cards again..
Final electoral count:
President Obama -- 277 (perhaps 286)
Romney: 261 Maximun
And Republicans --- if you don't come up with a better candidate with better ideas running a better campaign, we just may have another President Clinton in 2017.
I agree with Tebow, " I'm predicting Obama will take an early lead...
Until the Republicans get off work."
YOU do NOT choose the US President and Vice President with your November December Votes, the Electoral College Votes Do.

It's that time of year, my last column before the elections on Tuesday. I have tried hard to keep an open mind throughout the campaign, balancing evolving opinions, the fact that I consistently vote a split ticket and the fact that both my father and mother were lifelong Republicans. They would probably roll over in their graves up on Rose Hill if they were to see this column.
My decision to vote for the re-election of Barack Obama has five poles.
• The first is the position stated two years ago by Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. that "the single most important thing we want to achieve" is to make Mr. Obama a one-term president. Mr. McConnell did not say he would work to pass legislation in the best interests of the American people. He said he would work most of all to get rid of Mr. Obama.
Yet Mitt Romney, the Republican Party's presidential nominee, even when he is trying to sound reasonable and bipartisan, has never said Mr. McConnell should step down as the GOP leader in the Senate. That is a reason not only to vote against Mr. Romney, but also to vote against Republican Senate and House candidates.
• The second problem is Mr. Romney's private talk with rich donors in Boca Raton, Fla., in which he wrote off -- inaccurately, by the way -- 47 percent of Americans as "victims," as "dependent on government" who wouldn't vote for him. His comments -- such as "my job is not to worry about those people" -- were those of a rich person who never has had to look with dismay at a pay slip with its deductions for Medicare, Social Security, federal, state and local taxes and believes that the only taxes that count are those that even he can't avoid by stashing his money in Switzerland or the Cayman Islands, or by taking deductions such as the $77,000 for his wife's dressage horse.
It is important to remember, on the eve of the elections, that Mr. Romney still has provided only a limited, edited report of his recent taxes. The information he has yielded is far short of what I had to provide federal authorities in 1989 and 1995 to win Senate confirmation of my appointments to be U.S. ambassador to the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
What, exactly, is Mr. Romney hiding? What does he not want the American people to see as they consider his candidacy for the nation's top office, the one where honesty really counts?
• The third reason to vote for Mr. Obama is the astonishing effort on the part of Republicans across the country to roll back the electoral franchise, seeking to hinder voting by the poor, those with limited literacy or bureaucratic skills and those who have moved often, frequently as a result of poverty or unemployment. I quote Republican Pennsylvania House leader Mike Turzai on the subject in June: "Voter ID, which is gonna allow Gov. Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done."
I have lived in many countries overseas -- in Africa, Europe and the Middle East -- and I have never seen politicians try to roll history backward in this way, as Republicans would take us back almost to the Civil War with 2012 versions of Southern poll taxes, literacy tests and other barriers to voting so as to improve their electoral prospects. Even the most corrupt governments normally take the public position that they want to increase participation in their elections, not decrease it by erecting barriers to voting. I keep listening for Mr. Romney to criticize these Republican efforts.
• The fourth concern is the makeup of Mr. Romney's foreign-affairs team. Its shortcomings showed up first in his July trip to the United Kingdom, Israel and Poland.
In London, on the eve of the Olympics, he took a cheap shot at America's best friends, the British, over what he professed to see as their lack of security preparedness for the games. He did this to make himself look good by comparison as head of the Salt Lake City Olympics. In the event, the London Olympics took place with no security problems.
Mr. Romney then took fundraisers with him to Israel, looking at Jerusalem as a potential land of milk and honey for campaign contributions. I guess he went to Poland to use it as a platform to substantiate his questionable claim that Russia is America's "No. 1 geopolitical foe."
Mr. Romney's international-affairs advisers are a collection of Bush-era, failed neoconservatives -- those wonderful people who brought us the Iraq war -- such as the comical John R. Bolton, Dick Cheney liaison Eric Edelman, ex-CIA counterterrorism officer and Blackwater security firm executive Cofer Black and former ambassador Richard S. Williamson. The thought of any of these people occupying key national security positions -- secretary of defense, secretary of state, national security adviser -- is enough to make one say a prayer while humming "Speed Our Republic."
• Finally, I cannot get past the impression that the only thing Mr. Romney believes firmly is that he should be the first Mormon president of the United States, and that it is morally acceptable to say anything to anybody to achieve that goal. The whole series of his appearances and statements, through the Republican primaries and his campaign against Mr. Obama, leads me to that conclusion.
For that reason, if for nothing else, I don't want Mitt Romney to be elected president and will vote for Mr. Obama.

Even if Obama can turn out enough deadbeats, nippplesuckers, and morons to take the Presidential election, he can't win the House of Representatives. Too bad, Sooo sad. We will still be able to stop his and the Progressive's destruction of America dead in it's tracks. So even if Obama wins, HE LOSES! Welcome to four more years of deadlock, the 'New Normal'. ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
It's 'Showtime'.
The House of Representatives will be essentially the same as now after the election, with Republicans in control with about 240 seats.
This means that a vote for Obama is a vote for several more years of 'GRIDLOCK', since Obama has demonstrated that he is either unwilling or unable to compromise with the Republicans.
Unlike Reagan and Clinton, who worked closely with an opposing Congress to get lots of good things done, Obama has made only one attempt to meet with the Republicans (on the Debt crisis), and even then he reneged on the 'deal' he made with Boehner.
With Romney as President, we will at least have some cooperation between the White House and Congress, and avoid more GRIDLOCK.
No to Communism
I think you better provide chapter and verse on that. What you quote is not in any of 10 translations I have access to. The quote actually sounds like something out of the Koran.

The old testament talks about two fighting causing injuring a pregnant woman causing her to give birth prematurely. If the Child live, no penalty. If the Child dies, then the two in dispute needed to come to some agreement of penalty.
Let's compare Obama's rhetoric in 2008 with his performance now;
1 – Promise - 'Investments' in Green Energy would create millions of new jobs. Reality – Billions spent on Green Energy companies (like Solyndra) have been wasted, and no new jobs.
2 - Promise - My health care would go down and I would be able to keep my own plan? Reality – Health care costs have skyrocketed, and many employers are canceling coverage for workers.
3 – Promise - You would cut the deficit in half in 4 years. Reality – Four straight years of record deficits averaging about $1.3 Trillion (The largest Deficit under Bush was only $459 Billion in 2008), and the National Debt is $6 Trillion higher than the end of fiscal 2008.
4 – Promise - Unemployment would drop to about 5% in 4 years. Reality – We are still stuck near 8%, which is higher than the 7.4% for Bush's last full month in office.
5 – Promise - Energy costs would drop as we shifted to 'Green Energy'. Reality – Energy costs have skyrocketed (Gasoline is more than double the $1.84 per gallon when Obama took office), and food costs are increasing dramatically.
On top of that, Obama's own Budget projections show the National Debt exceeding $20 Trillion by the end of 2016 – compared with a National Debt of only $9.986 Trillion at the end of fiscal 2008 (Source – Obama's 2013 Budget projections). This will be his 'Legacy' if he is reelected.

"He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world's believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, and it time depraves all its good dispositions." (1785) - Thomas Jefferson.
Vote Obama, we can't afford the lies from Romney and Ryan.
DB Akron "Ed - The old testament talks about two fighting causing injuring a pregnant woman causing her to give birth prematurely."
According to Exodus 21: 22-23, if the child dies, the man responsible was condemned to death because the unborn baby was considered a 'living soul'.
I am SO GLAD this friggin circus will be over today! I'm sick and tired of these con artists pretending like they care about me.
Obama has run a campaign of hate, division, blame, and excuses. Obama has no platform for a second term, just the same promises the Democrats have been breaking after every election. An Obama victory will do one thing for the country, it will put an end to liberalism. By the end of a second Obama term there will be hatred for the Democratic Party as the nation plunges off the cliff.
The entire Democratic Party mantra can be summed up in three words, borrow, tax, and spend. The answer to everything for Obama is to expand government, spend more, and let people keep less. But when you elect someone as unqualified as Obama once, you can claim you were duped. To elect Obama twice, then you get what you deserve. Obama will go down in history as the worst president ever, and by the end of a second term no one will be arguing that fact. Let us hope the nation is spared that nightmare.
MCC & Give it a rest.
How dare you profane Christ's name? He is neither Liberal or Conservative. NEITHER fully represents his way to even 50% of what he did and said.
McC. Not only would he not be pro-abortion the slightest bit nor would profane the institution of one man and one woman becoming one flesh (marriage), nor would he be having government to tax people to do good things. Compassion is to be the individual's responsibility.
To the both of you, Government and politicians always tax and give the money to those they are purchasing their support from. Yes, that is in the Bible directed toward Israel when they wanted a King (a formal government) instead of obeying God directly.
A vote for Romney is a vote against media bias! Kick them both in the ass!

Wow - That is the most succinct analysis I have seen in a long time.
Kudos.
Its true there are more than 2 candidates for President, Some people think a man that ran off to France during the Vietnam War is a good choice. Some people think a man that lies is a good choice. Some even think a man that has made millions by buying companies and firing all the workers, even those that have invested in Retirement plans with the companies and about to retire are fired. Some people think this is a man that can lead this nation out of (I was about to type recession but that is already happening) what is he thinks he can lead us out of? I guess a vote for Romney is a vote for an empty suit. All he has to do is watch as the Presidents policies play out. You have to admit that's one way of not getting blamed when or if things go wrong. Blame the last President. Haven't we been doing that for the last 4 years? I'm a 54 year old white man, born in 1958 (the cut off date for Romney's Social Security/Medicare) He has never said if I get my money back or if I have to live on the streets. Until someone comes up with a plan I'll stick with what I have!
Just another agenda Congress can't work out nor are they even trying! Giving it to States that are bankrupt or almost bankrupt isn't the answer. Romney thinks the states should do what he can't. What can he do?
Thank God I voted for a leader today! Obama 4 44
FEMA cant even respond appropriately to hurricane Sandy, which is much smaller than Katrina was. Yet, O'bama, FEMA, get a pat on the back. Despicable. Where are the tough questions about the Benghazi terrorist attack? Punt these @!$%#ers in the ass!
Really? Today? With all the commercials on TV and who knows how many unwanted (that should be illegal) phone calls - Who would know? For these two reasons alone one should vote Independent....
Obamacare is a disaster and every company or entity large and infleuntial enough to secure an exemption (mostly Obama donors) has bailed out.
The people stuck with Obamacare will be the unsual suckers!
Here's an interesting translation on this matter.
There are translation issues in this area, because one can take the section to mean just the woman, and others both mother and child. It's interesting how this appears to cover just an accident and not intentional abortion. Thought - Intentional was "unthinkable" perhaps.
Romney had 801 vetoes as Massachusetts Governor and a 33% approval rating when he left office, this Liar is beyond a Loser !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ ROY WILSON-336103 post 1.69
Should the Democrats do the same thing Republicans have done for he last 4 years? How is that going to help this country? Should we reward Republicans for doing what they did by letting them have the Presidency back? Wasn't 8 years of deregulation enough? Are you so young you don't remember the Bush years? A bit of advice, pay attention these next four years no matter who is the President!
Found this in a local newspaper, it just about says all that needs saying. Written by Ben Boychuk. I added the the highlights.
BOYCHUK: The case for Romney is the case against Obama. Americans four years ago turned to Obama as a "no drama" leader who would guide the country out of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and burnish the country's reputation abroad after a costly, unpopular war in Iraq and a flagging effort in Afghanistan.
He failed.
Obama's first significant act as president — beyond that futile gesture with
Guantanamo Bay — was to push Congress to pass the $800 billion "stimulus bill."
Without it, the new president said, unemployment would top 10 percent or
more.
But with the plan, the administration predicted unemployment should be around
5.6 percent by now.
Current unemployment is 7.8 percent and the labor-participation rate — the number of adults who are working or actively seeking a job — is the lowest in more than 30 years.
Obama's other signal achievement, health care reform, was supposed to control
rising health care costs. The law hasn't taken full effect, but the average
health insurance premium has risen $2,370 since Obama took office — faster than when George W. Bush was president.
On the bright side, Obama partisans crow, Osama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive.
Bin Laden is indeed dead. But so are Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith, casualties of an administration that sought to "lead from behind" in Libya, and that cravenly blamed their deaths on a YouTube video hardly anyone had seen or heard of before Sept. 11 of this year.
As for General Motors, profits are up globally — especially in China. That's
good.
But overall U.S. market share has fallen to 17.6 percent since Obama made the
federal government GM's majority shareholder. If the feds sold their stake in GM today, taxpayers would lose $13 billion.
Would Romney be better? It's fair to say the former Massachusetts governor's
reputation for saying just about anything to get elected does give one pause.
But Obama's failures are manifest. And all this president has promised for his
second term is more of the same. No, thanks.
STAND DOWN, AMERICA!! Surrender you sheep

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious.
But it cannot survive treason from within.
An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.
But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.
For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.
He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the
night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.
A murderer is less to fear.
The traitor is the plague."
Marcus Tullius Cicero 106 BC - 43 BC

Hold onto your wallet lemmings, the fabulous government of Obama that you so love and hold dear is about to creep into your wallet and steal everything you have, with no apology or reservation.
I think Fiesty's contract ends today!

How do you figure that Roy? Even if Romney wins (he won't) the Democrats will still hold the Senate. Do you honestly think the Democrats in the Senate won't are going to cooperate with Romney after the record number of filibusterers by McConnell and his Republicans?
right out of your dirty prejudiced mouth, vote white, then post something about a traitor. go figure!!!

I'm excited, after today Obama will be packing his bags and the media / pollsters will never be looked at as credible again.
Congratulations President Romney!
With the polls so tight, I'm surprised at the supreme confidence of victory on either side. Given the overwhelming enthusiasm quotient seen at Romney rallies as compared to Obama rallies, and the confusing over sampling of democrats in most polls (predicting more Obama enthusiasm than 2008?), I would be a little less confident as an Obama supporter.
One last time until 2016: Your mother wears army boots!
Last check: Romney/Ryan in the lead!!
Myself and a group almost 500 strong are heading to the polls to vote the only clear and rational choice: Romney!! And then we'll spend until the polls close campaigning in the streets on his behalf. Our numbers may be small in comparison but we go to do our part to ensure the right man is elected to do the job!!
President Romney and Vice President Ryan will reign in tonite, ending four years of oppression and near extinction as a country!
@ ROY WILSON-336103,
What are you smoking? Romney = Cooperation between the two parties? I suppose you think Romney sending ad to New Jersey shows he is going to be bi-partisan? How about the Governor of New jersey slamming the Mayor of Atlantic City because people remained in their homes? Do I need to tell you what political party each person I mention here is? Wake up, there will not be any cooperation no matter who is President and if I was a Democrat in Congress I would see to it that I did the same thing the Republicans have been doing for the last 4. Whether you know it or not Republican's didn't hurt the President one bit. What they did was more damaging to the American people as far as I'm concerned. Who in their right mind would pledge to someone how he will or will not govern this country? These are elected officials they work for every American not Grover Norquist!
Take your Fox ReTarded trash back to the landfill, stop dumping your Garbage on America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand your 'moniker' now - you are 'confussed'.
First - It was the Democrats that took over Congress in the 2006 elections that invented 'Gridlock' and fighting against Bush at every turn (and helped cause the Great Recession by failing to control Wall Street with their 'Congressional Oversight Committees' - Thanks to Chris Dodd and Barney Frank).
Second - There was no significant 'deregulation' under Bush - Financial Deregulation was signed by Bill Clinton.
Third - I'm old enough to remember the disaster that Jimmy Carter brought upon America, and the 'rescue' of the economy and American pride under Reagan.
Fourth - My next post is a comparison between the 'Bush Years' and the 'Obama Years'.
I still see a lot of 'Bush Bashing' still going on, so perhaps it would be good to compare Bush's record with Obama's record so far – using the official numbers from the Obama White House;
The Economy (GDP)
GDP when Clinton left office in 2000 = $9.821 Trillion.
GDP when Bush left office in 2008 = $14.394 Trillion, an increase of 46.6%, or 5.81% per year.
GDP for 2011 (last info available) = $15.094 Trillion, an increase of 4.9%, or 1.6% per year.
The Deficits
Total Deficits for Bush over 8 years = $2.006 Trillion ($251 Billion per year).
Total Deficits for Obama thru 2011 = $4.006 Trillion (1,335 Billion per year – 5.3 times as much).
Employment (average).
Total Average Employed in 2000 = 131,785,000 jobs
Total Average Employed in 2008 = 136,790,000 jobs, for an average gain of 5,000,500 jobs.
Total Average Employed in 2011 = 131,158,000 jobs, for an average loss of 5,632,000 jobs.
These figures are all from the official government sources – The Obama White House Historicals for GDP and Deficits, and the government Bureau of Labor Statistics for Jobs.
Sources for GDP and Deficits - http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Historicals
Source for Employment – Official Government Bureau of Labor Statistics -
If you look at the trend lines since Oct 22 on 538 you see that Obama has steadily been gaining and today up again.
Obama widened his lead now up at 314[▲] electoral votes Romney dropped to 223[▼]
Even RealClearPol with No Tossup States has Obama up at 290 with Romney dropping to 248.
0 days left and Obama trending up with a big lead already. You do the math.

The Black Panther is back in Pennsylvania , dressing like a militia and intimidating voters. Erick Holder give them a pass not doing any action when they were accused of voter intimidation. The job ob any member of political party is not stand at the door in intimidating way , but stay inside watching the actual election process, the police is actually who is in charge of the order not members of a political militia.
Stop the Black Panther, Stop Obama
Romney 2012
Our national debt is now at 16 trillion, two hundred billion...
Romney thinks being president of the most powerful nation of the world is a laughing matter. That´s why they had an actor at their GOP convention to introduce an empty chair; and, they had Eastwood, who is not Ronald Reagan, but just an actor from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly; with Obama being the Good, Eastwood, Mitt and Ryan, the Bad and the Ugly.
Mitt is also a traitor Mormon, who in times of foreign policy distress of the empire (the Middle East crisis), criticizes his own leader to satisfy petty and cheap political ambitions because he is definitely not fit to be president; and, together with Ryan, both liars, too!
Thus, Mitt Romney deserves to be severely criticized, and so does Ryan.
And that´s exactly what Bill Clinton did!
That is the real problem with Romney. He is totally misguided in foreign and domestic affairs. In foreign affairs he is not like Senator Dole, or Reagan, for example, Mitt is rather more like a ding bat who does not know where to go or what to do. His understanding of foreign policy not only lacks depth but diminishes U.S. standing abroad.
And, now he wants the US government to (so to speak) disinherit 47% of the US population. To him, half the country lives as parasites, and therefore supports Obama. C´mon Mitt, give it up you are not qualified for the presidency: a war monger, racist, arrogant, and stupid.
He wants to start WWIII over four dead corpses, ambassador or not, it´s a stupid idea. He forgets that about twenty or so Afghans – old men, women and children -- were massacred by a drunken lunatic US serviceman, not too long ago. To stop riots Mitt wants to go nuclear and bomb the hell out of the bastards. This is another stupid idea, Mitt. Can the world trust you with Cuba and Venezuela, North Korea, Mitt? I think not!
In any case, the GOP nomination has been won by a perfect nobody in the sense of not being able to govern this country, Harvard BS or not -- big liar Mitt Romney who has spent his life in the "real" economy and not in DCA.
No, Blondie, you can´t trust incompetent Mitt Romney, even though he is your husband!
In 2002, to be Governor of Mass., Romney offered less government, less debt, better business, less tax, but the result was more fees, less business, more debt, and bigger inefficient state government. He even evaded taxes by claiming Olympics-Utah residency. He did not get the job done, as his dubious accomplishments, to be president, attest to. He is already crippled and weakened physically and morally by his riches. He bears no similarity whatsoever to the average American and is therefore not likeable by a vast majority of the country.
That´s why he chose a fat, overweight slob like Christie to salute him on his GOP Convention day: a blonde and a fatso, c´mon… Are these the new symbols of the good old USA that the GOP wants to oversell?? Corruption, abortion, racism, and just plain being stupid, rather: Just being there!
Romney with real world applications, Harvard BS – less than 15% effective rate taxpayer, instead of 30%; off shores' money manager man, Swiss banks and Cayman bank accounts, instead of putting the money in US banks; domestic job destroyer that buys companies for profit and then dissolves them, firing everyone in sight, instead of using his business background to turn around these companies´ economy and boost job creation; immigrant hater; not concerned about the poor, 47 million Americans; his economic plan is just a list of good intentions with no ideological base; posthumous Jewish baptizer; and, too filthy rich to be president now wants to eliminate reelected Chavez, nevertheless a dying man, by simply inventing threats to the USA, based on alliances with Iran. And, of course, in this last respect, supported by cheap propaganda spitted out by far right frustrated CIA-backed Cuban exiles or their off spring that have done well in this country, except Rubio who is bankrupt but was considered to accompany Mitt as VP. In the meantime, no one else wants to come here, the planet of the dying-off middle class; and, rapidly increasing poverty levels.
And, Ryan is more of the same; in his GOP speech: He lied about Medicare. He lied about the Recovery Act. He lied about the deficit and debt. He even dishonestly attacked Barack Obama for the closing of a GM plant in his hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin -- a plant that closed in December 2008 under George W. Bush. He also failed to offer one constructive idea about what he would do to move the country forward. In other words, Ryan is a flunky too!
Ryan even lied about his marathon time, less than three hours, he said, when his time was in fact closer to four hours. He also lied about his brother Tobin having run in Boston last year; if I´m not mistaken, to qualify for Boston you have to run a marathon in less than three hours; another sportsmanship lie?
If Ryan lies about sportsmanship which he cares a lot about, then he is lying a lot more and about things that really matter. Both – i.e., Mitt and Ryan -- promise to create millions of jobs but they don't have a clue about how to do that. Remember Mitt is rather a job destroyer! In addition, these two are going to cut taxes for the rich, and cut budget allocations for both agriculture and education. They are taking away Medicare as we know it. It´ll disappear in 2016. The Medicare program would be transformed into a voucher system, giving the elderly an option to shop among health insurance plans. Individual Medicare costs would rise by $6,400 a year.
They will privatize social security, and not for the good of the seniors. All these middle class gains, among others, will be lost to balance the budget, while the rich get fatter. Instead, they should plan to reduce any tax cuts for the wealthiest and prohibit subsidies for oil companies, etc., etc.
In addition,
(1) He has only made 2 years of tax returns available to the American public, while former presidents Bush released 19 years of returns, Clinton 16 years, George W. Bush 13 years; and, Obama 12 years, respectively. Romney's tax return includes 813 pages of which 65% "deal with overseas investments" including substantial investments in a Chinese oil company and what the dozens of foreign bank accounts, i.e., millions of dollars stashed away in notorious tax havens.
(2) He won't disclose his "bundlers," the people raising millions for his campaign.
(3) He is the sole owner of a questionable shell corporation in Bermuda.
(4) Until recently, Romney kept cash in a Swiss bank account.
(5) According to the Globe, he hasn't been honest about when he was running Bain Capital, even though legal documents refute his claims.
Finally,
25 years ago we had: Ronald Reagan
Bob Hope and Johnny Cash
Now we have: Obama, Plenty of Hope and A lot of Cash!!!!
After Obama took Office,
(1) The economy is growing again, away from the 8% shrink rate before Obama.
(2) Just before Obama, we were losing some 820 thousand jobs/month, since then 4.1 million jobs have been created. The unemployment rate has collapsed to 7.8%.
(3) Inflation adjusted- after tax income has risen since 2009.
(4) Net household wealth has also increased since 2009.
Vote Obama and win, win, win!
So confident are Democrats they feel the need to cheat, and strong arm. :)
Black Panther members are standing outside of voting establishments in Philadelphia as we speak...
Enough trolling and vitriol.
I truly wish both candidates the best of luck and honestly no matter who wins I will fully support them as my president. Now that may change in time if either does a bad job, but starting out I will NOT start by demonizing any more.
If Mitt wins he'll be my president and I will support him. But I did vote for Obama. :)
I hope no matter who wins the majority of people feel the same as I do. It's time to stop the partisan BS and no better time then day one with a new election.
THE PUBES DESPERATION IS EVIDENT!!!! A pathetic, old, dying party full of pathetic, old dying people, Yes, mostly white, anger-filled cretins who know that they have no chance of stopping the butt kicking that's coming their way today. Here's the thing pubes, YOUR PARTY IS DEAD! The world has and is changing. What was once the majority is, or soon will be, the minority and they don't like it. HAHAHAHAHA oh well, better learn to suck it up and get used to it. With the numbers the democrats will have on their side, the pubes may not regain the White House for a loooooong time.
@ DB Akron Where does it talk about abortion in the "New" Testament, the new covenant with man? Only the Jewish people that do not accept Jesus as the son of God believe in just the Old Testament. You still want us to go fight and die in your war is all, you do not care about this country. If you did then you would not be pushing for Mitt to win. If our economy and debt get worse, which is what will happen if Mitt gets elected, we will not be able to come and fight any more of your wars. You like the GOP are shooting yourselves in the foot.
WTF is with people and communism, Maxism, socialist, etc. B.S.? From 1940-1982 the U.S. had a top tax rate between 90% to 70%. That was when we were "against" commies. WTF is the top tax rate now? What are the GOP crying about? A WHOLE 4 F***ING PERCENT! That is why America has suffered the past four years. Worker's wages went stagnant when the top tax rate was reduced from 90% down to 70%. Small business has been on the decline ever since it was lowered from 70% in 1982. This is not something that has just happened in the last 4 years. The universe that God designed will tax up to 100% depending on how fast you attempt to go. Each time you double your velocity the universe demands four times the power. Our tax code should be similar.
Threat of 2 more years of gridlock...nice. If that is what it takes to get rid of your sorry a$$es then so be it. You should have never gotten to a position of power in the first place since the only thing you care about is yourself. People are starving and the only thing you care about is that 4%. I would like to think you are not that dumb, but that is not the case. For everyone's sake including your own, I pray you do not win.
Today is the day to Vote for President OBAMA for Peace, Prosperity & a better America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chris...
communism..the weak one you speak of us Romney..he is a spineless shuffle walking knuckle dragging rich boy..who cant buy this election
...and your savior is a Big-Eared Bandit...what's your point?
Typical libbie drivel...can't defend this POTUS's record, so call the other guy names.
It's okay little man, you'll be calling Mitt Romney "President" when this day is over!
4 long years and the colossal mistake of 2008 will be gone!
Romney/Ryan 2012! Vote against Obama and his laughing sidekick like your life depends on it!
Prediction time;
Romney = 281 (with Ohio) or 273 (with Wisconsin).
Obama = 257 (with Wisconsin) or 265 (with Ohio).
Obama must win both Ohio AND Wisconsin, while Romney just has to win one of them.
Advantage - Romney.
I'd like to see YOUR predictions.
OK folks, today is the day we get rid of the inept fool we now have in the WH and elect Mitt to get us going again. Get off yur butts and vote!!
Mitt 2012 and 2016
Let's not forget, it was "W" that got us into this mess !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't give the Keys back to the losers that got us into this sad mess !!!!

Because a thorough understanding of the great depression tells one that the depression was caused by misguided solution to stopping borrowing to purchase Securities.
High profits causing a swell in stock market prices was bad enough, but permitting unlimited borrowing to purchase stock encouraged excessive investment driving the value up further. When the fed raised the interest in 1928 from .5 % to 5.5% private banks stopped borrowing from the federal reserve, but continued to loan to investors for stock. It all crashed after banks ran out of money to lend, cutting off the money supply which started the market on a decline. Once the decline started, investors decided to cash in on the value by selling 3 times the normal amount of profit taking on Black Friday. The market dropped and pannic by those who borrowed began to set in. The rest is history.
BTW: When the banks stopped borrowing, they were still paying on the old funds borrowed from the Federal reserve. Because they were no longer borrowing but only paying on their loans to the federal reserve, the result was a money supply that shrank by 1/3 from 1928 - 1930.
2008 was caused by a misguided solutions to getting low income earners into their own homes and refusing to believe that could be a problem when regulators came forward to say it was a problem. The result in the housing market is eerily similar to the stock market. Ballooning values of homes, because of the artificial demand, and then a collapse as the failures flooded the market with unsold homes.

Jesus didn't come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. The New Testament did not make what was wrong by the law now legal, but rather offers forgiveness for what you do wrong and a more perfect way to keep from falling for doing what is wrong.
Being Jesus fulfilled the law, many worship practices required in the old testament, are no longer required.
Roy, Obama now must also win Pennsyvania. Bill Clinton was dispatched because the shift to Romney was previously ignored until two days ago, when they figured out that Pennsylvania is headed to Romney.
Other states that may have fallen into play after the last debate. Oregon, Michigan, and Minnesota.
yes. the electoral college has the last vote. they put little george bush in the white house. this cancelled out the peoples vote. this is most anti american law e-v-e-r....passed. they will probably put willard in the white house and cancel out the peoples vote again.they dont want a president who will help the middle class and working poor. they want to suck up to people like the 1% rich romneyites. the answer OIL OIL OIL and those who OWN the wells no matter what country. romney's family never had to work hard and scrap for something to feed their family. obama came up from hard times and knows what it takes to work and feed your family. obama was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth like romney(who dont care about the 47% of the americans) only those with money to support his lavish life style.romney's parents never became americans(they were mormon and practiced pologamy)(not legal in america...yet).obama's father born in kenya, mother born in new york. obama's father did become an american citizen.
The GOP Destroyed this Country and now they want to finish what they started, voting for this is insane !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The last guy that cried on the campaign trail, Edmond Muskie, went down in flames. And certainly Mr. Obama was not crying because this was his last campaign stop (albeit, he has spent a considerable amount of his presidency campaigning). He was crying because he obviously fears he is about to lose. And when he does lose he will have no one but himself to blame. His campaign was based purely on attacks and he offered no vision or plan for the future. He tried to, again, run on a slogan, Forward, but all the voters could see was the country going forward into the financial abyss if Mr. Obama were to be reelected. If you were to ask today, election day, Mr. Obama's most ardent supporters what are the specifics of his plan to reduce the national debt, stop deficit spending and create private sector jobs, deal with trade, etc... all you would get are blank stares or maybe some canned talking points devoid of any substance whatsoever. No wonder he wants to play basketball, he has nothing to talk about and offers no leadership. And when you waste a golden opportunity that's something to cry about.
Read Michael Lewis book, "The Big Short, Inside the Doomsday Machine" if you are interested in the subprime mortgage bubble.
He connects the dots back to the Savings and Loan debacle of the 1980s and the demise of Salomon Brothers.
It's an interesting read.
Hey texas, I agree, the Electoral college should be dumped, it put a "W" Interloper in the White House in 2000 and look what the jacka$$ did to our Country - this is not the Peoples Vote !!!!!!!!!!!
Court-appointed Republican poll inspectors are being forcibly removed from voting stations in some Philadelphia wards and replaced in some cases by Democratic inspectors and even members of the Black Panthers, according to GOP officials.

These Inspectors are election officials - again, court appointed -- and are reportedly being thrown out by the Head Judges of Elections (these Judges are elected Democrats) and being replaced by Democrats.

Looking better by the day. Short and long term forecast looks good also.
The deficit was alraedy at 1.3 trillion annually with a projected rise of 8 trillion over the next decade regardless ofwho was in office. Obama came into funding two wars, and feeding many hungry Americans hit by the recession.
The deficit has been shave 25% since Obama took office, with 208 billion of the from last year ,but hey leave the part that the defict is actually sgrinking out of your post ,right?lol
Unemployment for whites is right at 7% ,for Latinos around 9.6%,blacks 13.7 %,blacks 13.8%,much lower than when he started . Blacks rates have been historically double tha of whites since 1972.
Automation, and offshoring jobs, people not going for higher education have hurt the job market more than any president ever did.
democ-Rats are cheating as always

Romney collects 10 endorsements to Obama's 1
October 25, 2012 @ 12:05 AM
By the West Virginia Press Association
FOLKS! I just got back from voting for ROMNEY.
I have never felt more AMERICAN as I waded through all the Mexicans at my polling place.
I wonder who they voted for???
dems cheating as usual... yeah no voter ID - why??... so as many illegals can vote for handouts??...
Just came across in the last 30 minutes. The Cook report analysis of the early vote through Nov 5 in Ohio shows that
I'm not certain what he meant by "we are no longer talking about polls."
kornfed....the red fistula is out helping the community organizers commit more voter fraud today!!
If you voted for Romney you are either a racist or an Idiot.
Roywilson, Bush was handed a great budget that was increasing, Obama was handed a budget in shambles and declining. No excuses just the facts.
The Republicans are already trying to steal this election.
VOTE! And then follow up to make sure it's counted.
Clackamas County identifies accused elections worker as Deanna Swenson of Oregon City
Found an analysis of Cuyahoga County done on October 5 this year.
Ohio Experienced a loss of 490,000 registered voters over 2008
Cuyahoga County experienced a decline of 208,207 voters
48,872 less democrats
194,111 less Independents
BUT 34,868 more Republicans.
That is a narrowing of the Obama 2008 262,000 advantage by 83,740 votes in just one county and one of the most democratic ones in the state.
What this means is that polling done on Ohio is woefully inaccurate because the polling companies are using the 2008 turnout as a model or trend. Most polls in the last few weeks were using 2008 as a trend and several showed democrat turnout +11 over the Republicans. In 2008 was democrats +7.
What we have here is more evidence that the polling companies did not pay one iota of attention to what was really happening on the Ground. Can you blame them? The numbers on the ground are not very favorable, are they?
This give credence to the Romney camp that they are +1 in Ohio.
They don't want to pay the price to get a job.
Hahahahaha!
You must be one of those ROMNEY ROYALISTS who believe the more American jobs that go to China, The better America will be.
Patriotic American U.S.A. "Let's not forget, it was "W" that got us into this mess !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
How convenient of you to absolve the Democratic Congress from responsibility - especially since they had control of the Wall Street Oversight Committees (Dodd & Frank).
I can name lots of things the Democrats did to cause the meltdown - including financial deregulation signed by Clinton - can you name anything Bush did to cause the meltdown?
Hey, if you are going to the polls, and are still kind of undecided on who to vote for for President, just review the following and it should help you decide:
Over 8% unemployment for a record 43 months in a row! It's now said to be 7.9%, up from one month ago, which still stinks. Oh, BTW, they didn't include California in the totals, which has over 10% unemployment. Duhhh. So, it's still over 8% folks.
Over $16.2 trillion in debt and counting? He increased it six trillion rather than reduce it five trillion as promised.
Over 14% unemployment for blacks.
Anemic economic growth, year after year, after year.
No budget for the past three years as required by the Constitution.
A healthcare plan that will cost over three times what they said it would, was opposed by over 60% of the population, sucks over $700,000,000 out of Medicare to help pay for it, and wasn't even read by any member of Congress that voted for it? How could you vote for a bill you haven't even read?
Solyndra FAIL and cover-up (or at least no due diligence) that cost taxpayers over half a billion dollars.
FAILURE to protect our embassy in Benghazi, Libya resulting in the deaths of four Americans, and the cover-up afterward. Obama stalling until after the election.
Fast and Furious FAILURE, resulting in the death of a boarder control officer and the cover-up by the Obama administration. Holder held in contempt of Congress. Case still not solved due to Obama's stalling.
Then, read this article from Thomas Sowell:
*********
If Obama wins, "then the fate of America -- and of Western nations, including Israel -- will be left in the hands of a man with a lifelong hostility to Western values and Western interests.
President Obama is such a genial man that many people, across the ideological space, cannot see him as a danger.
For every hundred people who can see his geniality, probably only a handful see the grave danger his warped policies and ruthless tactics pose to a whole way of life that has given generation after generation of Americans unprecedented freedom and prosperity.
The election next November will not be just another election, and the stakes add up to far more than the sum of the individual issues. Moreover, if reelected and facing no future election, whatever political constraints may have limited how far Obama would push his radical agenda will be gone.
He would have the closest thing to a blank check. Nothing could stop him but impeachment or a military coup, and both are very unlikely. A genial corrupter is all the more dangerous for being genial.
think about it.
The Republicans handed the democrats a deficit decreasing in size. the Deficit went up when they took control.

Nice try at rewriting history, but the largest Deficit under Bush was in 2008 - for $459 Billion.
I know that you would like to 'Blame Bush' for the 2009 Deficit of $1.4 Trillion, but the fact is that the Democratic Congress never gave Bush a 2009 Budget to sign, so it was Obama's responsibility (including the $860 Billion 'stimulus' bill that Bush had nothing to do with).
When the Democratic Congress (Pelosi & Reid) refused to even consider Bush's proposed modest increase in spending for 2009, Bush only authorized spending for 2009 AT THE SAME LEVEL AS IN 2008 - Here's a link to verify the TRUTH about the huge increase in spending for 2009 under Obama (you can find many other links to verify by googling 'Bush 2009 Continuing Resolution');

@roywilson;
I am not rewriting anything sir, the deficit has shrtunk you wish to mslaed others, and leave this out.
The result was a slight, $207 billion improvement from the 2011 deficit of $1.3 trillion
Umm like I said it was 1.3 trillion, your numbers are suspect. My point was this is wht Obama came into no matter whose fault it was.
Like I said we had two wars to fund that cost millions per day,and many hungry Americans needing assistance from the recession, should Obama just dismiss them to trim the deficit? I think not.
You are backpedaling sir.
Interestingly, an Electoral College tie is very possible.
If Romney wins Florida, Virginia, Colorado and Iowa (where he is favored), and Nevada (where it is very close), and Obama wins Ohio and Wisconsin and New Hampshire, they would each have 269 Electoral Votes - in which case the Republican House would elect Romney as President and the Democratic Senate would elect Biden as Vice-President.
Not likely, but certainly possible.
First time in my life I voted a straight Democrat ticket.
Cheers from Ohio!
vote for romney and the the great depression number ll will begin like the first one a repub started the first great depression in 1929. willard will bring russian and chinese communism to america he really believes we need it.jobs will go overseas. only the rich who own their own small business will have a job in america.(this is why the repubs are advocating small....business see through the porthole if you can?)medical vouchers. void where prohibited. includes all 50 states. rich man have no problem. poor man call for medicine man.no higher education for middle and lower class students-willard's government will not fund students for college. will bring in foreign teachers for secondary school system.willard says on 1% rich need schooling anyway.romney talked governor rick perry into banning planned parenthood in texas. so mothers can no longer get birth control, no brest x-rays, no pap smears.all of us taxpayers and especiallly the GOP will have to pay for these mothers to have babies to be born in hospitals, because the mothers could not afford birth control.and those who were taking birth control to stop bleeding tumors will no longer have funded help either.will these silver spoon j&&%$^&$#ks get the white house?now when willard gets the white house i'm a gonna sit back and watch those who voted for willard cry in your b(%R$%#r. cause you aint seem nothing as to how bad its a gonna get here in america.(probably worse than the reagan years when our oil went to saudia arabia, steel to japan, air traffic controllers fired, the emergency medical services cut, millions of people in soup lines, waitress paying 18% percent tip tax with customers napkins on the table with a nickel and reaganomics written on them).now go vote for romney/ryan the pusillanimous american cretans.
Here's an interesting 'parallel' since Obama reminds many people of Jimmy Carter - the link is below;
"Reagan trailed Carter in most polls in 1980.....The polls showed the race as very close. Reagan trailed Carter in most polls, and even the final Gallup poll showed Reagan just 3 points ahead. But he actually won by 10. Could the race have been decided in the hectic final week?"

@roywilson;
The deficit has been skyrocketing at an incredible rate since 1982. There has been a deficit since the 1700s. This will not go away regardless of who is in office.
Obama admitted he and others underestimated the problem before they came into offiice. I have shown you the deficit has shrunk, this is fact not fiction,so take your specious numbers elsewhere
Way to ignore the fact that it was projected to rise 8 trillion over the next few years regardless of who is in office. My point is not to lay so much blame where it is not warranted. Was Obamas timetable to fix things over ambitous, yes.Was he pourposely misleading us. No.
Obama did not lie. What Obama did was try.
The rubber is finally hitting the road from that trying, and as I show above, that is no lying.
Please do not throw us into reverse now.
Just voted! Nice 3 block walk,no lines, perfect.
Done and Done son!

Coral Taxi "@roywilson; I am not rewriting anything sir, the deficit has shrtunk you wish to mslaed others, and leave this out."
Bush's last Deficit (2008) was $459 Billion. Obama is still running Deficits of about $1.3 Trillion. If you call Obama's changing from $1.4 Trillion per year to $1.3 Trillion per year a 'shrtunk' Deficit, I would concede that it did go down slightly, but hardly significantly.
So who's trying to 'mslaed' people?
vote for a real good hearted american who cares about the people barack hussien obama. not the rich silver tongued devil romney who doesn't care about the 47% of americans.he only cares about the 1% rich and the rest of the americans can go fly a kite or join the fourth rei)%$ch.
@roywilson;
Thank you. My point is that we are moving in the right direction, not that this was a great leap. Forward is Forward no matter what the pace.
There you go again,it(defecit) is close to 1 trillion annually now. Where do you get this 1.4 number? Not that it is that signifigant, but I do believe it is wrong.
Romney is.lol
Sorry about my spelling today,I have been typing on the run.lol

The election this year will focus on whether we can afford 4 more years of Obama.
Here are the Deficit figures for the last 5 Presidents - with a link to the official Obama White House government source to verify;
Reagan (1981-1988) = $1.339 Trillion over 8 years, or $167 Billion per year.
Bush 1 (1989-1992) = $933 Billion over 4 years, or $233 Billion per year.
Clinton (1993-2000) = $320 Billion over 8 years, or $40 Billion per year.
Bush 2 (2001-2008) = $2.006 Trillion over 8 years, or $251 Billion per year. This included all of the cost of the wars.
Obama (2009-2012p) = $5.333 Trillion (Proj) over his first 4 years, or $1,333 Billion per year. That's $4.6 Trillion more than Bush spent in his first 4 years.
If Obama is reelected, he projects another $5 Trillion of Deficits in the next 4 years, or over $10 Trillion which our children and grandchildren will have as a 'millstone' around their necks for their entire lives. Running up huge debts is a great way to 'pander for votes', but somebody will have to pay it back (our children) - with interest. Here's the official government link - See Table 1.3;

The final Deficit for 2012 has not been issued yet, but the National Debt increase for fiscal 2012 is $1.276 Trillion, according to the Treasury Department.

am vet, I don't care if you are a vet, you are a disgrace to this country. A hate Mongul. People like you should be placed on an island, so you can all do what you'd like with each other from the hate you carry. You most certainly have issues. First of all if someone has kept up politically, there isn't anyway that Romney's flip flopping on issues, changing his mind, or just pretending to change his mind is evident, just no way. The way he would not answer the question on equal pay for women, on the 47% comment, on the end date of afghan. And he also said that it was not worth moving heaven and earth to get one man Bin Laden. This is just not one man, is he stupid. Then Romney also said he would have told the Pakistani government before going in. What an idiot. But Obama put him in his place. And most of all his newest ad in Ohio, which Crysler and GM both said was a lie. This was Romney being desperate, Obama will win, we can't have a man like Romney in the White House, God forbid.
Obama 2012, because he is the clear choice.
Our President said that he would bring the nation together. That did not work.
Our President said that he could work with the opposition party by reaching across the isle. That did not work.
Our President said that his administration would be free from lobbyists. That did not work.
Our President said that his administration would be the most transparent ever. That did not work.
Our President said that he would fix the economy within three years. That did not work.
Our President said that his health care bill would lower health care costs. That did not work.
Our President said that he would not raise taxes on 95% of Americans in any way. That did not work.
Our President said that his stimulus spending bill would solve our employment problem. That did not work.
Our President said that he would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. That did not work.
Our President has provided an economic "plan" for the next 4 years that is mathematically impossible. That cannot work.
I see a pattern here. Our President said that if he could not fix the economy within three year that he did not deserve a second term.
hehehe. Roy must not of seen this when he left for work yesterday .
@roywilson;
Yes sir it does matter to milllions among millions, the whole world is watching sir. Many places on earth are at a turning point toward Demcoracy and are going through their growing pains, this includes voting in the wrong people into office, as Egypt is just now understanding. We need a patient understanding president, not another bully, that does not work, as we have learned in the past.
Many jobs are on the line if Romney is elected the states leaders are echoing this sentiment and is one of the reasons why Obama leads in Iowa and Ohio.
So it matters sir, this is not a movie. I must say though meatballs was one of my favorites growing up , but we are talkng about the world here sir,not some teen summer camp, it matters.

Why haven't you moderators touched any of the rabid right wingers here for the last few weeks?
Several of them swear regularly, use racial epithets, and often use much much worse slurs than "You're either drunk or dangerously insane."
The moderators here are not doing their job properly. Six months ago you two were much more thorough and non-biased.
The right are allowed to slander us all day long on here without being touched. Do you think we like being called "libtards" or "commies" or "marxists"?
In my opinion people who call me libtard, commie, etc etc etc are either drunk or dangerously insane.
Are you going to suspend me (again) for fighting back against these insulting classless low-brow posters?
Last time you suspended me it was for defending a little old grandma poster that all the right wing trolls were attacking.

Any Congresional and Senate seats up for election (yes, that's how far I have removed myself from all this crap)?
To me, reelecting the President means 4 more years of the same just hoping that things change. The President's new program to fix the the economy is just more of his same on going program to fix the economy. My biggest concern is all of the debt that has been building up. I estimate that an additional 5 trillion dollars of debt will end up costing the tax payers 50 trillion dollars to repay in 180 years. I agree with the President when he stated:
And the cost of our debt is one of the fastest growing expenses in the Federal budget. This rising debt is a hidden domestic enemy, robbing our cities and States of critical investments in infrastructure like bridges, ports, and levees; robbing our families and our children of critical investments in education and health care reform; robbing our seniors of the retirement and health security they have counted on.
Every dollar we pay in interest is a dollar that is not going to investment in America’s priorities. Instead, interest payments are a significant tax on all Americans–a debt tax that Washington doesn’t want to talk about. If Washington were serious about honest tax relief in this country, we would see an effort to reduce our national debt by returning to responsible fiscal policies.
Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.

Just getting back, but if you check back, the source is the Obama White House 2013 Budget - Historical Tables - Table 1.1. It lists Deficits by year for almost the last 100 years. Here are the figures from that site for the Bush & Obama years;
2001 - $128.2 Billion Surplus
2002 - $157.8 Billion Deficit
2003 - $377.6 Billion Deficit
2004 - $412.7 Billion Deficit
2005 - $318.3 Billion Deficit
2006 - $248.2 Billion Deficit
2007 - $160.7 Billion Deficit
2008 - $458.6 Billion Deficit
2009 - $1,412.7 Billion Deficit
2010 - $1,293.5 Billion Deficit
2011 - $1,299.6 Billion Deficit
2012 - $1,326.9 Billion Deficit - Projected, but actual may be lower.
Link is as follows;

By the way - Congratulations to Obama for a narrow victory, but I suspect we will have more of the 'Gridlock' that has plagued Washington for the last few years, since the Republicans won decisively in the House of Representatives.

TED KENNEDY: 48 BILLION DOLLARS are sent back to Latin America every year by hard working illegals in the US.
IDIOT!!! How does taking 48 BILLION DOLLARS out of the United States help Americans?
The IDIOT here is YOU. TED KENNEDY IS DEAD!!! What a moronic statement! Typical of a REPUBLICAN!!!
IRESPOND-2315268
His statement defending Latin American invaders is accurate and taken from a statement he made when he was alive. As a person who never knew a single day of poverty, he seemed to have fun taking the food out of the mouths of poor Americans only to feed the COMMUNIST's dream of taking over the United States for the master race of the third world.

ROMNEY/RYAN TODAY
Businesses aren't people, dude. You need to get a grip on reality. Governments are made by and for PEOPLE. The Pubbies have destroyed this country. If you don't possess enough grey matter to force your limited memory capacity back 4 years and remember what it was like, then God help whoever gave you a damn voting card.
And Obama, what are his qualifications to be the leader of the Free World? I know one thing, and that the economy has not grown by much. The unemployment rate is up from last month 7.8% to 7.9% this month. This not the Change I voted for in 2008. Broken promise after broken promise, "Lets get America more Enegry independant, so we are not so dependant on foriegn oil, and their regimes that don't have the Amican people best interests in mind.","Lets lower the price for gas, so the average American can afford to go to their respective jobs that I plan on creating. So they can support their families." Promises Broken!
And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?
It's time for REAL CHANGE!!!
All these people foaming at the mouth.

ROMNEY/RYAN 2012
The crashing economy ruined the business of this country and Romney didn't help it that much either. Look where most of his money is Cayman Islands. Corporate American wants to pay us lower wages, and pay less tax to our government. A Romney model indeed. But he's not the only one doing this to our country. We have to have tax Revenue in this country to grow. Build our infrastructure. If Corporations keep taking money out this country, then the working class will be the one who pays the government tax bill with large or small government. That's the major problem. They say redistribution is the problem well hell if they make the poor and middle class pay more tax then that redistribution so the rich can have more money. Then the rich complain o your redistribution to the poor is taking money from us and giving to the poor. Guess what a multi-millionaire just can't handle giving some poor guy or middle class person any money. He needs all that money because he won't be able to buy grocery's next week. It's just greedy people in this world that can't every be satisfied with making a good living. Greed I can't stand it, it's the ruination of our country. But I guess no one can see it. Blind sheep going off a cliff, just follow Romney and we won't have to worry about our country. He'll move all corporate money out of our country. I don't believe one word he said about helping the middle class and the poor. And if you do your crazy!!!!!!! I'm living in China now so I see what American corporations are doing first hand. Americans get smart Romney not your man. Obama got the right idea, tax corporations so when they take there business overseas they have to pay a price. If the keep their business here we'll give them a tax break. That way our government will receive more payroll taxes and corporate tax. Every job that is outsource we lose payroll taxes and jobs so Americans can't work. That whats wrong. Get smart. Corporations don't care, they expect us to pay the bill so they can make Billions Tax free almost. Well about 1% is what I read what Apple Computers was paying. You see they don't care for our country or they would be happy to pay there fair share. So the money just sits offshore. Who pays the tax bill, Americans who make and have all their money here in the states, that's who!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get f ......king smart!!!
This is what wrong with social security, medicaid, and so on, we're losing all our American tax base to off shoring and out sourcing. now. It's making our country poorer each time a job shiped overseas. Then yes people have to find another job or draw unemployment. It's detrimental to our country. If it don't stop we're going to up a creek without a paddle and it won't make a difference who is president. It don't matter now.
OH NO! As opposed to ROMNEY, that promises to take the food of poor AMERICANS to reward the rich!
YOUR MEDICARE AND SOCIAL SECURITY WILL BE PAYING FOR WARS, WHILE HIS MONEY, AND THE MNEY OF HIS FRIENDS KEEPS ON GAINING VALUE IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS.
GO ahead! vote against yourselves!!!!
No, but the GARBAGE TRUCK is outside waiting for Romney and Ryan!!!!
Truely, you keep saying he is hiding money in the caymans...How does he do that? It's not like he is a drug dealer, and is earning unreported money. The businesses he owns, I am positive has to report their earnings to the IRS, or he is subject to scrutinous audits. How can they know of his income if it is not reported to the IRS? I am confused as to how you keep beating that drum, without that knowledge??!!
Liberals would have you believe Romney is the only person with money in the Cayman Islands. Yeah right, Romney has an account right next to most of Obama's donors. Even companies like GE, Apple, and Pfizer have money in the Caymans. Say, isn't the CEO of GE Obama's jobs Czar? How much did GE pay in taxes, oh yeah that was ZERO. But everything liberals do is okay, as we understand it is simply not possible for a liberal to see their reflection in a mirror. Liberalism is undefinable, because they just make it up as they go along.
I reasearched it, and now I get it. He has international business ventures that produces income in other countries. So it is not money that is made here in the US from its citizens. Hence, he doesn't have to report that income to the IRS scrutiny.
So all of you would pay the taxes to the countries, where the income was generated, then be retaxed for that income here in the US??!! Oh I get it, you are so upstanding that you would never short the American people of that hard earned income already taxed overseas. I am not worthy of you generosity, I wont question you again....NOT.
You did not get the truth. Here it is!!!!! It may be too late if you already voted for this SCUM:

Who starts a business? Who takes on risk of that business? When you attack businesses because they are "not people" you hurt the real people who run that business, the people who work for that business, and the people who benefit from that businesses product or service. How many jobs are created by hating business and profit?

I'm sorry that I never saved the direct link BUT here is just a small portion of Kennedy's speech on Immigration Reform in the Senate June 28th, 2007
Mr. KENNEDY. Mr. President, I understand that at the hour of 10:30 we will be having the cloture vote on the immigration legislation. Am I correct?
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The vote may actually be at 10:50.
Mr. KENNEDY. Fine. I yield myself 5 minutes.
Mr. President, this has been a long journey to try and bring our broken immigration system and our broken borders to the place where this Senate can take action. Today's action is going to be absolutely key to whether we will be able to continue and finalize this legislation at the end of the week. So today's vote is a critical vote, key vote, perhaps the most important vote we have had here on this issue over the period of the last 3 years.
Our Judiciary Committee has been working on this legislation. Senator Specter has been a key part of this whole effort. It has been a bipartisan effort. Our quest has been a bipartisan effort here on the floor of the Senate.
Those of us who are committed to this issue believe we have an important responsibility to try to achieve something. We believe the reason for us being here, whether it is from Massachusetts or Pennsylvania or from other States, is to deal with the public's business, the Nation's business. This is the Nation's business. I think outside of the issue of the war in Iraq, this is front and center for our country.
People in my State are concerned and affected by it, and they are in other parts of the country as well. We have 900,000 nonnative-born individuals in my State of Massachusetts. Of those 900,000, 200,000 are undocumented. We have more than 3,000--in the city of Boston--more than 3,000 small businesses directly responsible for 34,000 jobs, more than half a billion dollars in pay and sales taxes in my State by those who are born in other countries. They represent probably less than 10 percent of the State's population, and 17 percent of the job market. The workers in our State, 17 percent are nonnative born, a demonstration that those individuals who have come here to the United States want to work. They want to work. They also are men and women of faith. They are men and women who care about their families, by the fact that more than $48 billion is returned every single year to the countries in Central and South America.
They care about their families. They want to work. More likely than not, they are all men and women of deep faith and religious belief. That is reflected in many of our communities in my State and in travels around the country. You see that day in and day out.
Also they want to be a part of the American dream. We have seen that reflected in the total numbers of individuals who have served in the Armed Forces of our country. Some 70,000 have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, and many have lost their lives. But in a number of instances, individuals, the undocumented, have crossed the line in terms of immigration, drawn here by the great economic magnet, the economic magnet that is on this side of the border that says: Look, we need you over here to make the American economy work. We want to pay you over here when you are unemployed over here. We will provide you the resources so you can look after your family. People have been attracted to that magnet. We have them here.
For those toward the end of this discussion and debate, as we have heard on the floor, we know what they are against. We do not know what they are for. Time and time again they tell us: We do not like this provision; we do not like that provision; we do not want that part of it. They ought to be able to explain to the American people what they are for. What are they going to do with the 12 1/2 million who are undocumented here? Send them back? Send them back to countries around the world, more than $250 billion; buses that would go from Los Angeles to New York and back again? Try and find them? Develop a type of Gestapo here to seek out these people who are in the shadows? That is their alternative? That is their alternative?
This country and this Senate is better. We have a process that said: Look, okay, you are here and undocumented. You are going to have to pay a price. We are going to take people who are in the line who have said they want to play by the rules. They go and they wait, and you wait and you wait and you wait. You pay and pay, and you pay and you pay. You pay your fees, you pay your processing fees, your adjustment fees. You pay not only for yourself but the other members of the family. You demonstrate you are going to learn English, you demonstrate you worked here, that you are a good citizen, that you have not had any run-in with crime, and then maybe you get on that pathway with a green card, and, perhaps, in 15, 18 years you will be able to raise your hand and be a citizen here in the United States. This is the issue. Are we going to have a constructive and positive resolution of this issue, or are we going to be naysayers, bumper sticker sloganeers who say: We are against amnesty, or, we are against this bill?
America deserves better. The issue is too important. Now is the time, this is the place. The Senate is the forum where we have to take this action.
I am hopeful that America is watching this and will understand what is at stake here. This is an issue and this is a vote of enormous importance. We talk of votes here. Some are more important than others. A few are of enormous significance and consequence. A few of them are going to have a defining impact about what kind of society we are going to be in, how we are going to treat each other, whether we have a respect for our fellow human beings and our fellow individuals who are here in this country, and whether we believe that our greatest days are yet to come.
Are we going to respond to the voices of fear? And that is the issue. Are we going to have a positive resolution, a constructive resolution, that is going to continue to be shaped as it goes to the House of Representatives, shaped there as well by different responsible figures? It may have somewhat of a different view. Or are we going to say no, no, we have listened to those voices of fear who say: Absolutely not. We are going to take the status quo. Every person who votes ``no'' is going to know that this situation is going to get worse and worse and worse.
We are going to say that: Oh, yes, sure, we will do something down on the border. But you are never going to have the kind of workforce enforcement, you are never going
to have the kind of absolutely essential identification system that any responsible immigration system is absolutely required to have.
This is a vital vote about the future of our country or the past. That is going to be the issue in question when the time comes to vote.
Mr. President, I reserve the remainder of my time.
The ACTING PRESIDENT pro tempore. The Senator from Pennsylvania.
Mr. SPECTER. Mr. President, I yield myself 5 minutes.

KENNEDY was a greater threat to the AMERICAN Way of Life than any COMMUNIST ever was. I'm glad he's dead and barking in HELL!
I am a 'white-hispanic' as obama labeled us...I voted for Romney today...BOZOhussen got my vote last time...then he spent 4 years lying to me and breaking promises!!
Romney had better restore the Constitutional Liberties that the Progressive-Marxist have been taking away!! Midnight Executive Orders for search and seizure and Stalin- style Nazi laws!! Or he will will have trouble getting re-elected!!
GOD bless America and the Republic for which she stands!!!
Wow IRESPOND,
You sure get off on name calling, kind of shows the value of your character. I read your link, and all I got was a lot of speculation and maybe's. The writer of that article sure came up with alot of concoted scenarios. But never outright stating he did anything illegal. Somethings may have appeared somewhat irregular, but no facts to prove it. Maybe he did this, Mayebe he did that, but there is no proof, just speculation. It does seems that he reported his earnings to the IRS, and paid the taxes, and there was nothing done illegaly. There is speculation, but no proof. There will always be speculation by those that have contempt for the successful and wealthy. brought on by envy and jealousy.
Boy, you can't find anything more substantial? So because you say it true it must be true?! Forgive me if I don't take your word for it. But judging by the character of the person you represent, I am going to say its all LIES to defame his opponents character.
But that seems to be the status quo of his campaign slogan. Can't find a flaw in his character, lets drum up speculatory scenarios to implant the seed of impropertaries by the opponent. Let the imaginaries of the people who share the same contempt and envies or the successfull and wealthy, Go Wild.
I am sorry you feel that way, but that is not a way to live your life, with so much contempt. It's just going to eat away at you.
Confused, I am sorry for your plight. Go back to school and do something else. If you are motivated enough, I am sure you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. But don't blame others for your situation.
WOW Vanity fair what a good sorce..... NOT.
I assume from your post, then, that you believe we should restrict where wages earned in the U.S. may be spent....but, on the other hand, you seem concerned about totalitarianism. How odd.
Communism hasn't been a serious threat to the U.S. in 50 years, and it was never as big a threat as the lunatics of the McCarthy era portrayed it to be. McCarty was trying to use it to garner political power, and for a while it worked.
It won't work anymore, pal.
tim-2799493
Why is it that "Latinos", a group that is NOT even a race, are allowed to have their own districts in the US?
Sounds like COMMUNISM to me.
reagan came as close to bringing america into communism as anybody. he sent all our products like oil and steel overseas. sent haliburb overseas and some of their companies.sold us out to japan and saudia arabia. he helped the foreigners he brought down the berlin wall.he bailed china out of debt and now theyre ahead of america. they are the leading world economy.romney is for big oil, big money anyway, he can pad his bank acounts in the cayman islands, china, switzerland russia and america. so long as dont have to give america much taxes. romney doesn't care about americans. where is your tax returns for the last ten years romney?
Teddy is BURNING in HELL for the murder of Mary Jo....
i was born an american and my fathers people were here before the america we know now. i am tired of the the repub conservatives telling me i cant have anything good just because my family has always had to work hard and struggle for everything they had.the repubs are just greedy and want to take everything the middle and poor have worked for all their life and put it in their big fat rich bank accounts all over the world. this is the plan of the GOP. wake up america and smell the coffee.
people always be complaing about the latinos being illegal. funny though no one complains about all those chinese people who come into america by way of california undocumented and live with their families and some do become americans citizens. i know cause i stay with my aunte in california, thats how i found out.i dont wish anything unkind to the latinos. when romney sells us out to to communist rus^*&%a or communist ch$#@!a.then where will we go?
Well, apparently everything you don't like sounds like Communism to you.
Look up the meaning of the word, and maybe next time you won't seem quite so ignorant.
tim-2799493
Since LATINOS aren't even a race, maybe they are facists instead of communists. But which is worse?
Ok, so there are two words you don't understand: communist and fascist. Fine.
I didn't bring up the issue of racism, but being a racist is just a special form of being a general @sshole. If you prefer the more general form, you're welcome to it.
Since I have learned that the minute someone babbles "racist", they have run out of ideas or lost their LA RAZA propaganda handbook, and are limited to a public school education that was developed by Latinos, you will simply continue your broken recording of pointless uninspired retorts.
Ok. But again, you're the one who babbled 'racist', pal, not me.
Fo'...ooh oh ooh oh oh ooh oh...Mo' ...Fo' Obama/Joe! Sing it with me. Clap your hands.
Sing it welfare state no jobs and paying back china ya ya ya
You can't pay back China by giving jobs to illegals from Mexico.
Joe can't sing, he is a retard. Another clown getting kicked out
What a TROLL. Instead of giving the jobs to illegals, MITT ROMNEY SENT THE JOBS directly to china>>>>
DUH!!!!
MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS will soon have a FREE DREAM Act college degree and will be kicking Americans out of their jobs thanks to COMMUNIST OBAMA!
Yeah, it will be a goodbye to the Christian American of any race, illegal Muslims will take over, because that is the aim, if illegal mexicans have a green light, then all illegals from all over the world do.
He will weaken the armed forces by closing strategic bases and China will hold power over our economy, which it already does.
And we will never drill for oil here and be dependent on oil from all arab countries.
Way to go, vote for Obama, if Islam rises to power all liberals will lose all liberties, you will wish a christian president was in power but by then it will be too late.
We just wish that you would understand the Constitution and the SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.
ALL OF YOU THAT PUT RELIGION WITH POLITICS MAKE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO LIKE 'CHRISTIANS'. WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT THAN ISLAM????
IT IS JUST ANOTHER GOD, SAME MENTALITY!!!!
NO to communism
Do you ever read the Constitution? God is not mentioned anywhere is he? Amendment #1 is clear about freedom of religion, but freedom FROM RELIGION and Religious Tyranny. When are you Christian Taliban going to stop enforcing your beliefs on our society.
P.S. Jesus would have been a liberal.... he would have healed the sick, taken care of the poor, and had tolerance for everyone.
Why does OBAMA's illegals teach their children to "walk backwards" by forcing them to learn the Spanish language while people in China and North Korea are learning ENGLISH?
Hey Am.Vet --- I don't suppose you know more illegals entered this nation during the Bush administration than all other administrations combined. And I'm sure you don't know President Obama in 4 years has deported more illegals than Bush did in 8 years. You're a typical Fox cultist/ditto-head --- uninformed.
President Obama's US on the Road to Greece......bump.....bump.....stop the bus.....oh, it's only Hillary (Libya) under the bus......drive on..FORWARD on to Greece.....bump.....bump.....sing it....and the wheels on the short bus go round and round, round and round.....
Charlie-1915998,
You bought that political sound bite. LOL.
April 2009 President Obama stated his Policy to the President of Mexico, "US Military will not be used to secure US Borders".
August 2009 President Obama stated his Policy to the Canadian Prime Minister, "US Military will not be used to secure US Borders".
August 10, 2009, Guadalajara Mexico President Obama tells the Associated Press, he wants to legalize the over 23 Million Illegal Aliens at the US:
President Obama to circumvent US Congress, stated his Policy, "Only Criminal Undocumented Workers will be Deported".
Sure President Obama deported more than President Bush, too bad he invited more Illegal Aliens to come to the US. So instead of over 23 Million Illegal Aliens; there are over 25 Million Illegal Aliens. Good luck bailing water out of the RMS Titanic with a metal bucket with a hole in the bottom.
The majority of the Illegal Aliens come to the US to make money to send "home", so that when they return "home" they can live like Kings and Queens due to their own Nation's Low Cost of Living, this is in the Hundreds of Billions USDs per year. Many Illegal Aliens interviewed in a BBC Documentary have no intention of becoming Immigrants then US Citizens due to the US High Cost of Living especially the Taxes.
To minimize their expenses they bring their families with them and thru the Illegal Aliens Advocacy Groups located at the US they obtain US Taxpayer paid Public Assistance as required after the defeat in Federal Courts of California Proposition 187.
Ignorance is ignorance; no right to believe anything can be derived from it. - Sigmund Freud
The Difference. The Majority of Islamic Believers are Fundamentalist Islamic (Shia, Sharia) Believers. For Fundamentalist Islamic Believers Islam is ALL, All Politics, All Religion, All Culture, All History, All Ways of Life, All Beliefs, All Laws, etc. that supersede the politics, religions, cultures, history, ways of life, beliefs, laws, etc. of all other nations.
Your limiting western term of "Religion", is not what Islam is.
The reason why the Fundamentalist Islamic (Shia) Believers are the majority is their belief in "The Dead Do Not Complain" so when the Moderate Liberal Sunnis Islamic Believers are attempting to negotiate ("empty words") the Fundamentalist Islamic Believers shoot the Moderate Liberal Islamic Believers in the face.
The Fundamentalist Islamic Believers believe in the Fundamentalist Islamic Interpretation of the Holy Koran (Quran) Only, all other interpretations are Heresy (Death Penalty, per Sharia Laws), as their justification to kill the Moderate Liberal (Sunnis) Islamic Believers.
In modern times the Fundamentalist Islamic Believers use the Holy Koran (Quran) as Law, the Sharia Laws, and the Ancient Customs (Hadith) as Law. So in modern times the 109 Suras of the 114 Suras of the Holy Koran (Quran) Calls to All Islamic Believers to War Against the Christians, Jews, Unbelievers is just (justified) and the will of Allah and His Prophet Mohammad. And Collaborators to the Christians, Jews, Unbelievers are to "Dwell in that Firey Place".
So basically, in modern times the Fundamentalist Islamic Believers (definition of Muslim is a Islamic Believer completely subjugated to Islam) declared War Against the Christians, Jews, Unbelievers.
To accomplish the War Against the Christians, Jews, Unbelievers are the "Holy Warriors of Islam" (Islamic Jihadists, what you call "Terrorists") as supported by the Trillions USDs per year of Mandatory Islamic Tithes of the over 1.5 Billion Islamic Believers Worldwide.
Go get a College Education in Islam at a Islamic Nation usually taught only in Arabic, meaning you must learn Arabic first. Like I had to.
@ David:
Troll!! You just proved my point!!!
You don't understand, if the Islamic people take over, there won't be a constitution anymore, they will rescind it for sharia law.
Pull your head out of your ***.
You can't pay back China by buying up American companies and firing all its employees and sending the company to China! America doesn't gain squat in those deals just ask those that lost their jobs to Romney/Bain Capital. Send Romney packing but not to the White House, send him to jail!
Everyone GET OUT AND VOTE!!
Tonight, we put up the EVECTION NOTICE ON THE WHITE HOUSE DOOR!
Time to send Obama back to Chicago!
CONGRATULATIONS TO PRESIDENT ELECT ROMNEY!!!!!!!
Before the spelling patrol comes to get me, I know it is "eviction." Just a typo.

It does in Illinois. Check it out. Illegals are getting funds that American students cannot access. It was supposed to be entirely privately funded too but already American taxpayer funds are being LAUNDERED to look like private funds.
These comments illustrate the depth of the alternate reality that rebublicans are living in. Amazing how big money can buy small minds. How else would dubbya have gotten elected....twice!!!
We look in disgust how egyptians voted in the muslism brotherhood, or how the palestinians voted in Hamas, or how the Lebanese voted in Hezbollah. But nearly half of Americans and over 80% of the rest of the world are just as disgusted when 50%, more or less, of Americans will vote for Romney today.
The 1% uses religion to poison everything
No, it doesn't. The Dream Act was never passed into law. You really need to work on that blind, racist rage thing.
I live in Illinois, EINSTEIN!!! Illinois has the DREAM Act. Turn off the LA RAZA propaganda you have playing in your mind from too many years at America's NO MEXICANS LEFT BEHIND public schools.
Bye Bye Bama, We like to see you go
Bye Bye Bama, You didn't steal the show.
Bye Bye Bama, America can't afford your giving away jobs to illegals
Bye Bye Bama, Maybe Mexicans will give you a job walking their beagles
Bye Bye Mitt Romney, we like to see you flip flop
Bye Bye Mitt Romney, we saw you entertain us for the last 8 years, but you failed.
Bye Bye Mitt Romney, we heard you say you didn't hire illegals, but fact checked, you did.
Bye Bye Mitt Romney, the 47% of the country you said doesn't matter. DID.
Obama/Biden 2012.
OBAMA's 8%, Latin Americans, will be out of work when Mitt wins.
92% of the world that is not Latino, will then be able to immigrate to the US.
The Middle Class will REALLY be unemployed when ROMNEY exports our jobs to CHINA. The Middle Class will pay higher TAXES in the end, to COVER ROMNEY's folly of a 7 TRILLION tax cut.
Course the GOP will push for their legitimate rape, continue telling us who we can marry, what our family relationships should be, and our religion in a trade too. Gotta love how they want to destroy our civil rights.
Obama/Biden 2012.
OBAMA has American jobs going to Mexico feeding drug cartels.

Use your head....VOTE ROMNEY and SAVE AMERICA FROM COMMUNISM!
Obama is a job creator unlike Romney who is a job EXPORTER!
@amvets;
coo coo coo coo coo coo .
Obama has not sent one job to Mexico to feed the drug cartels. Put your bias and racist card away, it has no place in America of 2012.
I am using my head and voting for Obama. The GOP Socialism is what got us in this mess in the first place. I am tired of watching the GOP redistirbute wealth from the lower/middle class to the rich and corporations.
Romney is the only clear and rational choice that this country needs! My vote will be for him: President Romney!!!!
Hey Am.Vet, are you a disgruntled ex-roofer, seasonal agricultural worker or concrete finisher? Because that's about the only work, I see spanish speaking folks monopolizing. Know why? Because it is HARD, TEDIOUS LABOR that pays low wages and requires being in the elements like the hot sun, wind and such. Plus, were it not for the seasonal migrant farm workers who play a major roll in getting crops from the field to market every year...prices would skyrocket at your local Walmart's. That being said, maybe you should get your racist, fat ass off of your dead mother's sofa and find yourself a job that has benefits like health care because if Mitt's elected you can kiss your "gubamint" entitlements byebye my dear. It's what his platform campaigned on whenever he was being clear and honest enough to have a platform. You're a pathetic loser excuse for a human with all your racist rants on here!
Did you COMMUNIST SUPPORTERS OF OBAMA know that the uniforms for the US Border Patrol are manufactured...........in MEXICO???????
How stupid can OBAMA be?
But are you willing to give YOUR JOB to a Mexican invader?
NO? Awwww, come on. You just went through the LA RAZA handbook's speech on how wonderful Mexicans are.
Oh, say. Even though they make prices lower. How can you buy anything when Mexicans are doing YOUR JOB and your sitting at home with your finger in your tamale hole?
IDIOT!
Am.Vet, I'm quite certain you know about holes since you obviously just crawled out of one on your belly. Now do us all a favor and get your taco bell 6 pack and crawl back in it
Vote Obama and save America from ignorance and stupidity.
...and CAPS LOCK.
AM-VETSPhoney-Vet1 Why do you hate AlaBAMA? 2 Why did republicans PASS then BLOCK the re-peal of the TAX LAW giving corporations the tax break to ship jobs overseas? Hint it wasn't to save US jobs. 3 Mitt Romney personally went to China to buy factories to send US jobs to. 4 How does anyone support a man that NEVER went to visit wounded troops, never mentioned them in his convention speech. He wants to increase defence spending by 2 Trillion for more war toys yet not one word about an increase for the troops or veteran's. Last for now, Mitt is an ANCHOR BABY form a father born in Mexico, Mitts the one who needs to be DEPORTED!
OBAMA has taken the birthright of every American child to go to a school that has only Americans in it.
No more LA RAZA communist brainwashing!!!
am vets, you are the commie, you are using projection big time, no doubt about it. Once Obama gets his 2nd term hopefully you will want to move to Cuba, and hang out with Castro. You both will get along just fine.
lu-2005066
I see you are applying for the job of mule tender for the Mexicanos in your basement.
PRober:
I guess you've gotten so used to seeing the wife and kids being molested by Mexican gang bangers that you now suffer from "Stockholm Syndrome" and you are identifying with your molesters. Talk about a LA RAZA success story!
oh so now you are a molester, get it out, go ahead mister projecter. Your party is going roque, now they know they have to move into the 21st century and get out of the 19th century to ever have a republican President again. Hopefully for your party they will get rid of all the old bags to they can move forward. They people have spoken. One term President, not on your life. I like to see them now all the republicans and how they tried to do every possible (even if it meant ruining the country) so Obama would not have a second term. Pie in their face and yours, ha ha.
To all republicans. Be sure and vote for Romney/Ryan on Wednesday November 7th, for real change.
A change that you will regret. Find a copy of a movie called Metropolis and it will show you the change that Romney has in store for you. It in Black and White and a Silent Movie. It is so simple to understand you don't need words.
@amvets;
Your racist poems wont work today.
Not one voter will you sway.
so pack it up and pack it in.
Because Obama is set to win!!!
yeah Nov 7th if you are republican go vote on Nov 7th..lines probably wont be too long either ..hehehehe. The rest of us will vote on Nov 6th
Coral Taxi
OBAMA, the Latino's puppet will have his strings cut in a few hours!
GOD BLESS MITT ROMNEY!
@am vets;
Your racist views take away much credibility in what you say. You are like a baby screaming louder and louder with your caps.
" the Latino's puppet will have his strings cut in a few hours"
They say you can't fix stupid and some people get on a computer and prove it.
That's what needs to be told to the lemming liberals, they only do what someone in the media tells them as if the media isn't biased heavily in favor of the liberal propaganda.
Everybody don't pick on Am Vet. His wife left him for a Mexican stud. Then the Mexican beauty he was eyeing dumped him. That's why he hates Mexicans so,lol.
Uncle Bob,
Oh really? I figured he was just another closet gay republican who fell for a "Pedro" and found out Pedro already had a chica bonita and wasn't interested in some hairy, grey skinned weirdo. Pero, gracias mucho... aclarar eso para mí!
Coral Taxi:
And all your blathering is in ENGLISH!!!
My compliments to your COMMUNIST CONTROLLERS.
LA BAMA has had FOUR YEARS to build the border fence to keep Mexicans out of the US.
I see the Mexicans everywhere but I don't see the fence!!
The average Mexican woman is as wide as she is tall and can barely see over the dashboard of the $50,000 SUV she got with a loan from an idiot banker who knows the SUV is BOUND FOR MEXICO and he will never see a penny of his money come back.
It is not illegal to be brown in the U.S. troll your hate else where.
am vet, not all mexican women are of your description, and latin women are much more exotic looking and sexier than white women. I bet one broke your heart.
lu-2005066
Hope you get your pickle tested. HIV AIDS is spreading in Latinoville.
Why is it the moderators suspended Sailcat but they let this ignorant racist trash Am.Vets run loose all day?
I told O he can have his old job back standing on my front porch hold a lantern when he looses.
am vet, sorry I was wrong, you hate women for a different reason. So at least Obama did you some good when he said it was o'k for gays to be in the military.
And one other thing am vet, you are a disgrace to the uniform and nothing is speading that you didn't bring back with you.
Ha, ha, ha! I think O would be taking that job away from Mexicans.
I guess your standards are just so much lower than the average American male who would rather pull his own pickle than stick it into a vat of bacteria from south of the border.
OBAMA COMES TO CHICAGO ON ELECTION DAY
Stay out of the black neighborhoods bro'.
You've allowed Mexico to poison them with drugs for the last time.
Yea there weren't any drugs in black neighborhoods till Obama became President.
By making Chicago a SANCTUARY for Mexican drug pushers and illegals, OBAMA's COMMUNISTS have futher poisoned the black community.
We have another IGNORANT REPUBLICAN HERE. Oh THEY ARE ABUNDANT!!!!!
Nobody, but the NRA IS HELPING TO POISON OUR COUNTRY: THE ENEMY REALLY IS THE NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION, That sells guns to thoughs and drug lords on the BS that all of you spread: "The "RIGHT" OF HAVING GUNS"
PFFT!
The second amendment is in our Constitution.
If you don't like it move to Venezuela, Chavez will be happy to remove that right from you.
NO to communism
1st Amendment to the US Constitution: Freedom of Religion. If you want a gov based on religious beliefs, move to Iran, I am sure they would love to have you
RIGHT! and ALSO THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, BUT ALL OF YOU REPUBLICANS CONVENIENTLY FORGET THAT!!!
trolls!
So how can the Catholic Church get away with helping Latin Americans sneak into the US, then steal American Catholic contributions to feed LATINO ONLY organizations?
COMMUNISTS don't follow the 10 Commandments or respect the Constitution.
You belong in the era of paranoid people from the cold war. That is where Mitt ROmrney brlongs as well, and he is trying to take the country back .
FORWARD!!!!!
Irespond is just another liberal shill.
have you ever noticed that the only time the RWNJ's are bible thumping Christians is when they are wanting to justify their racist opinions, deport a group of American citizens based on their color, kill someone of color with one of their precious guns (in Texas they now have legal silencers) and/or support the encroaching oligarchy sponsored by the likes of the Koch brothers? Amazing ain't it? I don't think that was Jesus' message at all... but then I can read. I don't need Faux News spews contaminating my mind 24/7, 365 days a year.
IRESPOND-2315268....
Are those your prison numbers?
IRESPOND-2315268, you're suspended for a week for violating #1 of the Code of Honor. Second suspension in a week.
Phil-3222496, Am.Vets, you're each suspended for a day for violating #1 of the Code of Honor.
Good ! Clean it up a little ... too many personal attacks !
Who will be the next President of Dumb@!$%#istan? Which one of these hard-working, middle-to-lower class representatives of the 99% will it be? Harvard Graduate and Business Tycoon #1 or #2? Either way, be sure to keep your wallet in your front pocket and attach it to your belt with a chain, 'cos no matter who wins this rigged election, they have other plans for your money than whatever you might have in mind!
Only the ignorant and politically naive will vote for Obama.
You mean the American people, right? They are the ones who are reelecting him, you know.
LOL, I'd rather have a candidate that has a stance on the issues. So I voted for the President, if Romney ever has a substantive stance on an issue, I'll probably die of a heart attack.
Also, where are those tax records? Everybody else has provided them and Romney still hasn't produced the typical amount of records.
A vote for Obama is a vote for a welfare state.. He has proven that much that 47% of Americans have their hands out.. Beggars
Where are Obama's records? Even with a 5 million dollar offer he keeps under wraps. Give 1 million and I am sure Mitt will disclose his records!
Obama is hiding his college records because he was given a free Harvard seat due to affirmative action and not on excellence. His travel records may show his real birth place!
You mean Barry Soetoro
Google:
is-he-barack-obama-or-barry-soetoro
Gudprsn, Obama has shown his records, which would have settled it, but it's not about the records, I'm not even sure what it's really about, but he's more than satisfied the legal requirements and done exactly as every other candidate has done.
No other President has had his nationality questioned for so long after the records were provided. No other Presidential candidate has been expected to show his college transcripts.
@gudprsn, Donald (Go get it made in China) Trump did nothing but show what a teeny-weeny mind he has and what he did was an embassesment to himself in the end. I guess that you consider Rags like The Globe and The Enquirer to be factual reading materials.
@bstn;
You have just insulted over half the country in one sentence sir. If you ask me I would say that is pretty ignorant.
bsthn1: You write: "Only the ignorant and politically naive will vote for Obama." Those are precisely the words progressives use to define your party! Here you are merely attempting to throw our criticism of your party back in our faces. But you know very well that they perfectly define your extremist right wing faction, not the progressive Democratic party. You deceive no one, least of all yourself.
bstn1
Ignorant is not the proper term.
Voters do not take the responsibilty to reasearch the candidates background and Ideology but vote based on the propaghanda of the media and political ads.
Voting is a right lets do it responsily.
GOD BLESS AMERICA and preserve US a Free Nation!!
All the churches have put aside their differences, and the threats from BOZOhussen & Holder have not stopped the flow of pure thought from real religious leaders...VOTE FOR ROMNEY!! FOR FReedom, Truth, Justice and the American way that made the USA the Greatest country the World has ever seen!!
NO APOLOGY tour will be given!!! USA-WE are Free--USA--We are Free!!!!
I think I just threw up in my mouth. Romney's Freedoms; freedom for corporations to outsource jobs to any country, Freedom to tell any lie just to get elected (can you say Jeep), Freedom for Corporations to be People, Justice that NO Corporation can be sued by common people. The new American Way, YOUR ON YOUR OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the apology thing was made up by FOX. The free part, don't forget the Bush Patriot Act that allows big brother to listen and read everything you do without a warrant. Most of the family's in this country are one pay check away from losing everything.
excaliburgc
Another UN-educated RWNJ. Included in that 47% are retired people on Social Security that they Paid for. Service men and women with families and the families who lost their jobs to corporations who sent there jobs overseas. These people follow the tax code just like Romney and pay what the code says.
Please tell me why Romney's class of people should pay a lower Rate for taxes than the rest of us? Romney sent his tax welfare money to the Cayman Islands and his Swiss bank account.
The so called winner of this election will have nothing to brag about. Regardless of who is elected the next POTUS it will be a close election.
Typically the incumbent can run on their past performance and experience as POTUS and those are their strong points in the race. Obama can not do this and is once again trying to convince the American public that he needs 4 more years to perfect his game. He says we have 5 million new jobs since he has been POTUS; I say where are these jobs? He says the auto industry is back; I say if you can say struggling and still loosing money, "back" then OK they are back. He says his plan is to continue to provide education for our young; I say this is great, but where are these college grads going to work? Currently 50% of all college grads can not find a job.
As usual the Obama plan puts the cart in front of the horse. Instead of concentrating on what made America strong in the first place, Obama wants a nation of unemployed, but well educated young people with no place to put that education to work.
Romney on the other hand knows what built this country and know how to provide a government that will once again make this nation a leader that provides for itself and not sink us further in debt as Obama has.
People fear change, that is just basic human nature. Sometimes we must accept that change is necessary in order for us to prosper. Time for a real change America and Romney can provide us with just that. Romney does not just talk about change he knows how to make it happen.
POTUS can run on his accomplishments and will win based upon his accomplishments. I'm not really sure how people can fail to see all that he's achieved. He got Obamacare passed, got Osama and rescued the auto industry. That alone is more than Romney has ever done. And considering the racist opposition from the GOP, it's astonishing that he managed to get even that much done.
So, the GOP will need a new strategy tomorrow when they're efforts to torpedo the President's presidency come to up short.
Obama care who is going to pay for it... Your Grand Kids? all the Americans on welfare and food stamps? Maybe the illegals? Fools
Frank..What did Obama do before he was president besides vote present on everything? If you like government to tell you what to do and take care of you you'll vote for Obama.Sadly this is still the only reason he'll probably win.
Obama cannot run on accomplishments and his campaign ads reflect that.
I can :)
I wouldn't brag about that if I were you. It was a bad idea when Romney did and it was a bad idea when Obama stole it.
He made a decision and I will give him credit for that. I will not give him credit for "getting" Osama. Other people took the risks and they deserve the credit for that.
A failed business should not be rescued. Keeping failed businesses alive leads to greater economic problems. That is true whether you want to acknowledge it or not. Yes, I know that sounds harsh, but we are all adults and we can handle the truth.
I think Romney's accomplishments are a bit better than you are giving him credit for. I won't vote for him, but that hardly means he is a failure.
Given the overwhelming majority he enjoyed in his first two years it is a severe disappointment that he could not deliver on his campaign promises. As far as the "racist opposition" goes, it is true that racism has played a huge part in this election, but I'm trying not to hold it against the entire Democratic party that a large percentage of their members hate white males. It's hard, but I'm doing my best.
Hopefully I am wrong, but I doubt this will be settled tomorrow given the closeness of the polls. I suspect it will drag on for a while. Again, I hope that I am wrong because a clean victor is better for America.
Robert, I think I see the problem here, you're ignorant.
The President had a veto proof majority for all of 2 months thanks to Coleman refusing to admit that he'd lost the Senate race to Franken.
Obamacare is completely from the GOP's list of suggestions. Which mysteriously changed once the President signaled an interest in signing it. It's the only way that we're ever going to get on the path to prosperity.
Racism against white males? That's rich, I'm a white male and I happen to see through it. You are of course aware that David Duke the Klansman was the one that pretty much invented that line, right?
So, if a failed business shouldn't be saved, then why did your boy Bush save Wall Street?
And yes, the election will be called just after the polls on the west coast close and Romney is shown the door. Hopefully he won't let it hit him on the way out.
Frank...Robert never said a super majority. He said majorty. He did have a majority in both house and senate first 2 years. It's not our fault he couldn't sway just a few votes to get anything done. Why is it that people don't know what a 'majority' is.?
Yawn.
Lol, "only" two months. Are you aware how many bills can be passed in two months? By the way, since Obama gets a pass because he had "only" a 59-40 advantage by your count, where does that leave George Bush?
Then let's just vote for the GOP.
And how is different from the Dems being against it before they were for it? I don't think you understand what just happened - you are now required to purchase services from a private company. That was not part of the campaign pledges. Had Obama been truthful in his intentions in 2008 I believe we would be calling Hillary Clinton "Mrs President" right now.
White males are at a disadvantage in jobs and education. If that isn't racism, I don't know what is.
Mistake when Bush did it, mistake when Obama did it. Any other questions?
You think it will be over at approximately 1800 PST, I think it will drag on longer. We'll see who is right shortly :)
Like Robert would have voted for Hillary!
Ernie201266: You've typed out a laundry list of events, actions, and policies that you attribute to President Obama, none of which are in fact his. Vice President Biden had the perfect word for your comment: Malarkey!
A vote for Romney is a vote for Trump, Big Oil, the 1%ers, the rich and the affluent upper class society of this country. And, oh by the way, you and I will pick up the tab at the banquet table for their gluttony.
Just cast my vote along with my husbands vote.
Obama/Biden forward and onward for the people of America!!
To Bst,
Im sure your a male cause you wouldn't have said what you did.For your info woman are far more worried than just birth control.Robney wants to do away with Planned Parenthood which is not just birth control it's pap smears and cancer and mamograms and so many other things. Then he wants to do away with health care by doing away with Obamacare finally this country is going to help the people of this country to not die because they don't have insurance or can't afford. Why would Robney care he's rich and he has no need for health care he gets the best. When he promoted Romney care all was cool cause he did it.Now that our President fought so hard for it Robney says NOWAY!!!.President Obama had no selfish reasons to push thru this Affordable care act cause he is well off also it was totally unselfish and for the people of our country to not go with out medical care.I am proud of Obama for all his accomplishments. There is more to do the economy as we all know it is not there yet. But,things are heading to the positive now.Obama/Biden always for the people
Christina.
Why do you lie- Romney is only stopping the wasteful federal funding and giving control back to the individual states where it belongs.
Handling the issues at the local level is what a Repuplic is.
Just as health care Romney put a tailor made system for the conditions in Mass in place with no 15 member panel deciding care or any other government intrusions and is a open free market system where there are choice of plans to choose from based on the individual needs.
Romney Care is 100 page simple and easy to understand system not a 2700 page lawyer jargon government bureaucracy full of taxes to the middle class not related to health care.
I would not have voted for Hillary Clinton, nor would I have voted for John McCain; however, that does not change the fact that had Obama told the truth he never would have gained the Democratic party nomination. Both Clinton and McCain were better qualified than Obama.
Here is what just some of what Obama said vice what he did:
What he said: I will give everyone health care and protect you from those evil insurance companies that are ripping off the American people. What he did: pass a law that says everyone must buy insurance from those same companies.
What he said: I will pull the troops out of Iraq the first day I am in office. What he did: pulled the troops out according to the timetable that George Bush agreed to with the Iraqi government. By the way, he wanted to keep the troops there, but the Iraqis insisted we follow the agreement.
What he said: I will repeal the Patriot Act. What he did: strengthen the Patriot Act and sign a couple of other laws the ACLU said were dangerous to liberty.
What he said: I will protect the environment. What he did: restarted off-shore oil drilling that was banned under Bush and neglected the promised Cap and Trade.
I could go on, but right now I'm just kicking a man when he is down. Gl to all in the election.
The country's going down the tubes and some women are worried about who's going to pay for their birth control pills. Talk about having your priorities screwed up. If Obama's reelected those ladies are going to have a lot more to worry about than their birth control pills.
Not really.
Free BC. If that doesn't work it will be free abortions, and if they don't kill their "fetus" the rest of the country will pay for cradle to grave care for them and their bastard kids
I don't understand all of you white male repubs, I was under the impression that most males enjoyed sex-- let me tell you as a woman making the choice to pursue a career I'm not interested in having 20 kids (yes I am married happily so don't even go down that route) so birth control becomes the answer, however Ryan's support of person-hood laws would take it away, leaving only one choice-- abstainence. I'm sure I'm not the only woman that feels that way. I can only conclude that you are either impotent and want to ruin the fun for everyone else, a closet gay that is unconcerned about BC because pregnancy is not an option, or just want to put women back in their place bare-foot and pregnant. So in conclusion, if you are Anti-sex feel free to vote Romney/Ryan, but me... Obama/Biden all the way... much to my husbands relief!!
Not to mention that Obamacare if allowed to go on will basically destroy the future of health care in this country
On what do you base this assertion? If the states are truly 'laboratories of democracy', as Romney and the Republicans so often tout, then Romney's experiment in Massachusetts should guide our expectations for Obamacare. And, given that, the fact that Massachusetts is the very center of the thriving healthcare industry should tell us what the 'future of health care in this country' will look like.
There's no evidence or even reason to support your statement - it's sheer right-wing propaganda.
If Obama is elected we lose all freedoms as women, birth control will be the least of our worries.
We'll have to fight again for the right to vote, the right to drive a car and the right to not cover our heads.
...that is a bold-faced lie. There is absolutely nothing in Obama's policies or track record to support such an ignorant statement.
It's Romney, not Obama, who wants to de-fund preventative care for women and make it harder for women to have access to birth control. He lied about seeking out women for positions in his gubernatorial administration - women's groups approached him, not the other way around. He wants to overthrow Roe v. Wade.
Vote for Obama if you don't want to work and want the government to take care of you of course the government will have control of every aspect of you life but who cares as long as you don't have to work right??
ONE AND DONE
I voted for Obama because I would like there to be jobs left in the US when I return. Romney hasn't offered any course of action that's going to lead to job creation. It's the same old tired supply side BS and deregulation stuff that got us into the current mess.
Vote BO and vote for a bright future.
The right wing racist vote isn't going to be enough to elect Willard Milton Romney. Mitt and the GOP/TP/Fascist Party have alienated women, union workers, seniors, minorities, gays and lesbians, and moderates. There is no one left to vote for Mitt except a small cadre of impotent white males and a handful of neo-nazi militia groups. Romney is none and done.
AMEN to that, Sailcat!
Hell you dont need to vote if you are Tea Party of Republican, they are trying to steal the election anyways with voter suppression and fraud in the key states anyways. Then you people like "angrywhitemale" talks about people voting for Obama not wanting to work. These Republicans and Tea Party are shysters like Karl Rove and Mitch McConnell, but it ain't gonna work this time, all the dirty tricks, suppression, and fraud just makes Americans go to the polls even more to prove you won't get away with the suppression and fraud. President Obama will be re-elected. Start Packing Mitt and Paul. End of Story.
You truly are a washed up brainless hypnotized POS
RIGHT! Let's elect Mitt Romney, so everybody can have have all the money, and not pay taxes. That way you can hire your own teachers to teach your children, hire your own police force to guard your home and your family, hire your own firemen, fix your own street, make sure that you also have enough money to pay for your own water and your own service for electricity.
Make sure that if you take a road, you PAY FOR THE ROAD TO BE FIXED FIRST, AND MOST IMPORTAN OF ALL; get ready to dish the big bucks if you get sick, because Mitt Romney's plan is to send you to the Emergency Room if you get sick.
FOOLS!
Romney None and Done..what a loser.no game plan no strategy...please if he would just give us some details he might have a chance.
Obama /Biden 2012
Romney/Ryan 2012.
AWSOMISOM, you are suspended for a day for violating rule # 1 of the Code of Honor.
Come on Sally..... you have a LOT more work to do ! Try the ongoing posts of "Patriotic American" for "inflammatory". There are many others who deserve to get "clipped" for their comments ! Get busy and clean it up !!
All of our family voted early...
No oblamo 2012
You are of course aware that Obama is way up in the electoral college projections and that Romney would require an act of God at this point to win, right?
I'm going to be laughing my back side off tomorrow when the bubble of delusion you conservatives have been using collapses.
No more Socialism get a job thats right there are none with Obama.. Thats funny is that why your laughing?
Because you don't know what socialism is. And the GOP has been fighting against any effort to create jobs. They have yet to provide a plan by which more jobs could be created in the US.
Which is absolutely hilarious because people like you don't notice the complete lack of effort by the GOP to rectify the situation. They've fought it and fought it and still haven't actually offered up a solution.
@excaliburgc, If you can't find a job than YOU need to get off your azz, go out and look. It won't hurt to put the Bong aside for a day.
Go to the trailer park and tell somone WHO CARES! The people that have a vison of what is coming if Romney is elected, can see that all that is BS!!
Irespond, that's something most don't seem to get. Allot of it is BS, I had to vote Obama again. Mitt seems to forget about things he has said. I feel he will keep his end of the deal to the people giving him money. If he does win this election and Obama doesn't. Their will be no magical new jobs happening. Most of the jobs he is promising are already their. Just people not qualified to work them.
Unless he can magically give everyone a degree in the fields that need workers. It won't happen and Sandy made me see things could be far worse. If he cuts everyone off like he explained it. It wont just hurt poor and middle class. It will hurt everyone living in that area or state. If another bad storm happens anywhere in the US.
Sure, act all smug in your choice to vote for Obama. You want four more years of failed policies, no jobs and no plans to encourage any change whatsoever in that direction; more social welfare, more intrusions from foreigners into our country, dragging in cartel violence with nothing being done about it- if anything using the Dream Act as an excuse to allow it. More broken promises- e.g. our troops still not home from Afghanistan and other hotspots. Obamacare... sure, you want to watch our health care system break down by the time your children need a doctor.
Ummmm.......yep. I want 4 more years. Any more questions?
Well, if your entire family voted early, why are you sitting back resting on your laurels and posting on the internet?
GET BACK OUT THERE AND VOTE AGAIN!
Dan Rather says Romney is gonna win....now I am confused??!! The progressive-Marxists are supposed to keep shouting OHaaaBahaaMaaa until they claim that Romney stole the election!!?? Just like they stole the Senate seat for that idiot Franken--steinn!!
like my ol' Granny used to say...Even a stopped clock is right 2 times a day...
Maybe even Rather wants to claim he was only giving the facts1!!!
dont worry Romney cares about all americans and that's why he will win
Romney 2012
I love the fact that Obama is getting re-elected! Imagine. The GOP wrecks the country and a black Democrat gets voted in, the GOP blames him for the mess and tries desperately to stop him from fixing their mess..... THEN, the GOP puts up a candidate WORSE than the guy who caused the wreck.... And, just when the economy is turning around.... The GOP takes credit !
LOL, Yeh, Americans, ya gotta love em. If Bush was so great why is he hiding? Why did he recently make a low profile trip to the Caymans and make a secret content speech about American Ecconomics. He is not done trying to destroy this country yet. It seems like every President has written a book about their time in office, but not Bush.
Ah Bush did in fact, it's called "Decision Points". But it's content is made up of bad decisions of course.
I love the fact that Romney/Ryan is ahead in the polls last check.
Look Obama was for Hope and Change look at us did he lead us no did he dived us hell yes,If Obama wanted to get American back to work he would started to work on that on day bone not day 1460 he has the same old plan and it's working crush America.
Romney because he love this country
Obama might lose Virginia. However, its not because of fair voting. They have been messing with machines, putting ballots as republican on them only. Throwing them out also, I thought this would have stopped with Bush. This morning I thought that Dems were messing with the machines. I found out, republicans have been the ones doing them. They don't realize its taking some of the republicans off of the machines. Not the dems that they are trying to take off.
They said they got allot of it fixed by this evening. They also are saying because of the mess up it might be a week before we know who wins. We still might learn tonight. I got home from everything today, i'm finding out some of this stuff is happening in battle ground states.
If you haven't already voted, There is still hope for you to do the right thing for America. Vote for Gary Johnson
End the Patriot Act...
End NDAA...
Veto CISPA...
Fully support gun rights...
Balanced budget...
Marriage equality...
Bring the troops home NOW...
Eliminated a $1 billion budget deficit...
Created a $1 billion budget surplus...
Shrank size of state government by 10% through attrition...
Cut taxes 14 times, never raised them...
Vetoed wasteful spending 750 times...
If the above is true this is one of the best posts I've ever read on the Vine. Great accomplishments IMHO.
Fired UP in Delaware!
Here's to FOUR MORE YEARS of leadership from President Obama!
And, our own Joe BIDEN! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!
You represent what's good and right about America!!!
What leadership.. Have you been away?
Leadership my ass! Your Muslum King is about to be de-throned
Awsomisom, you are under the spell of two delusions. Alas, only one will be shattered tonight.
@awsom;
Umm Obama is a Christian. His early years he was surrounded by Islam, obviously he rejected it. Get a clue. Oh and kings do not have checks and balances sir.lol
We do not need a new President, we need a new House of Reps.
We need a President who will work with BOTH parties ... that leaves Obama out !
Obama can do "less damage" to our country on the golf course. Only question is whether he counts all his strokes.
I just read this comment on another website and had to share: Hmmm....born to a rich man who was a Governor, the CEO to American Motors. He got to go to an Ivy League school, survived a head-on collision in France. He avoided Viet Nam altogether. He inherited a million bucks just out of high school. He profited by the millions while throwing lesser humans out of work in the doing and nobody challenged him. He was a figure head governor of a liberal state. He keeps his money offshore, refuses to fess up on his tax returns, insults 47 percent of America calling them parasites, and still he retains almost half of the voting public's support....and we wonder which of these guys is LUCKY? Really?
credit to jwc
OBAMA! The CORRECT Choice! GET OUT AND VOTE! If it wasn't for the damn republicans stonewalling Congress for the last 2 years, the American people would be facing a better economy. The blame is not on Obama, it is the republicans and their good old boys club in the financial industry. Do the research.
I hope old Romney boys Mormon "Magic Pants" have a big brown streak in them
What happened to the first 2 years when the Dems had a majority in everything? Why wasn't he trying to create jobs then. Why do we Americans have to wait for his second term?
Romney/Ryan
phat - Obama never really had the majority you describe, you should read up. And attempting to fix our disaster of a healthcare system isn't about jobs? Tell me another one.
Obama 2012
Middle..He did have a majority in both houses.I did not say Super majority filibusterer proof.Get your facts straight. You look like the fool now.
phatbasta, yes you didn't say it, but without a supermajority he couldn't break the GOP filibusters. I think at last count that was over 500 filibusters by the GOP.
It doesn't matter if he has 51 votes in the Senate, the GOP does so much filibustering that anything short of 60 doesn't matter.
Blaming the President because a bunch of petulant little children won't contribute is the kind of ignorance that I would expect a RR voter to exhibit.
I'm hoping the Idiot In Chief gets thrown out. We can't stand another four years of cluelessness. He had no idea what to do and still hasn't figured it out. If Romney wins, he can blame Obama for four years.
Send Barack and his big ugly companion back to Chicago...
@jmsmith;
Wow how compelling your post is. You sir are brilliant!
ameri...( you do not seem to know the meaning of American or Pride) & your obsession with Romney's "pants" is very Weird and somewhat Creepie!!! . If you are a dude, that makes it even stranger!!! You do some research.
1. BOZOhussen had the White House, Senate and House for 2 years....he lost the House & wild-eye- Pelosi , the same way he is loosing NOW!! He did Nothing for Women; All he HAD to do was have Holder enforce the Federal Law about equal pay for equal work. Every woman I speak with says that is their concern. They can worry about getting their own birth Control pills , without tax payers footing the bill. Women on the White House staff make 30% less than the males??!!...Really cares....NOT!!!
2. Gas prices went from $1.88 to $3.89 and he stopped the pipeline and ban drilling on Federal land!! Now it is almost $5.oo/ gal and still no action!
3. Still NO jobs--McDonald's is not a career choice!! ( unless you own the store--get real) --50 million on food stamps and 30 million stopped looking for work, he counts that as job growth!!
4. Fast& Furious takes Tax dollars to buy machine guns and gives them to the Mexican Drug Cartel , then claims Executive Privilege when the parents of murdered Agent Terry wants answers to his death!!,,, Shameful and criminal!!! He lies to the Mexican President when asked about it. on youtube watch the Univision Fast & Furious reports....Latinos are not happy with barry!! I know, I am one of his White-Hispanics!!!
5. Drugs freely flow across our border killing our children and destroying our neighborhoods..he has holder sue States that try to protect the citizens.
6. For the last 2 years the House has submitted many budgets and reid killed them. His job was to bring them to the floor for debate and changes then send it to the president for sign or veto...The Dems did not want a budget!! How is that the Repubs good old boys??!! You are a dimwitted TROLL!! $$$ 17 Trillion in Debt and he still can not fix our interstate roads and bridges!!!
7. The list goes on and on and on!!! Books have been written about BOZOhussens lies and corruption...I do not think that you are sober enough to look into just these few items...
I am an independent that voted for obama last time. His lies and deceit and Anti=American arrogance has made me look into the real guy and he is one scary dude!! Now with Brian Terry and the 4 dead in Benghazi he has blood on his hands!!!
OMG====ObamaMustGOooo!!!
BorderJoe,
get a glass of milk and go sit down and watch your Fox news some more.
If you did some research instead of puking republican rhetoric, you'd know that
1. Romney is a bishop in the Mormon church. Look it up
2. He does have magic pants-that is something that higher up Mormons have that they believe give them power. Look it up
3. Cry baby Boerner did more damage to stop forward progress and in fact, the republicans intent from day 1 of Election 08 was to make Obama a 1 term president. Look it up.
How did that all work out for you?
Rombama or Obamney? It's the Alien vs. Predator election: No matter who wins, we lose.
And no matter what the banksters win.
Romney.. I do not want a president that bows down to leaders of other countries as a sign of respect.. I want a president that bows down to America's The ones that elected him. Friends we all know Obama has lied and done nothing, electing Obama will lead to 4 more years of the same..The American people need to become one again and this will never happen under Obama.. Who is going to pay back China ? and what scares me is what deals is he going to make with the Russians after the election?
I can take Obama for 4 more years easily but I can't with conciousness let my country go back to the Bush Crap that got us to where we were.
Still blaming Bush?
Who you gonna blame in four more years when Hussein can't turn things around? And he won't. It's never happened in over 200 years and never will. there has never been one single president who made this country permanently better, or citizens more free.
So speaks the superior intellect from Weatherford, Texas. Ah, good old Weatherford, the home of bubba and the poster child for failing Texas education. You fit right in hon.
Where is Sally when personal attacks like yours go unnoticed ?
Vote for neither if you know what scum bags the federal government has been to its own citizens. Hitler treated most of his better than this piece of crap. 1937 federal government took the cure for cancer away from the general population. Hemp Oil cures cancer. ( Rick Simpsons " Run from the Cure " videos on the web will prove this for you doubters.
1951 started raining nuclear bombs on America Soil for testing purposes out of Nevada. Need some proof of this? 100 bombs were exploded in the air at 1500 feet until 1958 which 23 of were bigger than the bombs that ended the war in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This was being done to you, your mothers, your sisters, your dad, your cousins, your uncles and aunts, and everyone else in your families, and all your neighbors. Did you drink any milk back then?
They also stated that the fall out would not hurt the general population after we watched in horror the site of the two bombs that were dropped on Japan. They did this to their own countrymen. To you and me.
They then started Chemo and radiation research for cancer and have used everyone that has had to have treatment for this horrible act against its own people as guinea pigs instead of giving them hemp oil for the cure. They went after Sadaam Husein for dropping poison filled explosives on its own. Whats the difference between Sadaam and our own pieces of crap we have here? They rained Nuclear fallout on every citizen in the United States when in fact they could of done this testing off site from the US and away from human beings!
Lets see 1937 take away the cure for cancer that they have lied about ever since. Started the FBI to make hemp medicines disappear and give it a bad name. Did they succeed? I believe they have because non of you idiots seem to know about this cure.
Continuing right along then after the cancer cure is gone that you dont know about they start raining cancer causing nuclear fallout on us until 1992 at that testing facility. They were finally required to shut it down at that time. And you believe this piece of crap should be telling us what to do? And you think its Ok for them to have done this? Can you say Hitler all the way.
My vote is to get rid of the current deaf eared idiots and replace them all with the poor and middle class as running this country. If that doesnt happen more change for your human rights will be affected. You will continue to lose more and more of them. That is the change they are talking about. That is what has been done. They have just about watered your constitution down enough now that it it doesnt exist anymore. A couple more years ought to do it.
You who vote for these attrocity makers are only asking for more of the same. My vote is to get you to make them acknowledge that we the people by not voting for these piles of crap who represent Corporate America get thrown to the curb for their lies deceit and mockery of our constitution.
At best your voting for a scumbag. Doesnt matter which side or which one. They all have one thing on their minds and it isnt you. MONEY, and not telling you the TRUTH.
Be my guest folks go ahead and vote for these pieces of crap because truly that is what they are.
Anyone want to try and make me feel bad for writing this can kiss my ass because this is what you are really voting for. So go vote you dumb sheep. I cant believe you guys, I really cant. Your pathetic for voting for any of these lying asses, all of you.
@startover123, You are picking on the 1950s? This country has come a long way since Trueman, and Eisenhower. Talk about being stuck in a timewarp.
Vomitt will lose case closed!
Then we all lose for the next 4 years.
It is simple if you want two shysters and weasels you will vote for Romney and Ryan. Otherwise vote someone that cares about the American People, President Obama. OH and he isn't going to let the Mitch McConnell's , Bonehead, Cantor, nor the obstructionists Tea Party get their way in his next four years so weap now tea bags. Obama 2012
I'm still trying to figure out what his plans are. Unfortunately for mittens I voted a couple weeks ago.
Perhaps if he had shared his plans, he might have had a shot at my vote. Not likely, the man is a sleaze, but it would have been hypothetically possible.
He's going down and everybody except the Romney/Ryan voters know it. It's an extremely bad sign for him to still be campaigning on election day.
True Frank, but I don't put the Republicans and Tea Party past nothing, look at all the suppression going on and voter fraud they have already gotten by with. They won't stop, shysters and weasels never stop, but the American People will prevail and President Obama will be re-elected.
You are a brainwashed fool
The name calling isn't working anymore. Your shyster and weasel has lost , period. Romney and Ryan can go home early, class dismissed. LMAO President Obama 4 more baby.
Spot-1951183
As you do the same thing. Typical libocrat!
Obama can NOT run on his sorry record!!
[I]f you don't have any fresh ideas, then you use stale tactics to scare the voters. If you don't have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from." That is what Barack Obama said when he accepted his party's presidential nomination in 2008. Four years later, it reads like a prophetic description of his re-election campaign.
See story in washingtonexaminer.com

NObama in 2012!!!!!
vote for romney just shows you are a crack head and don't give a @!$%# about the usa
Romney collects 10 endorsements to Obama's 1
October 25, 2012 @ 12:05 AM
By the West Virginia Press Association
Oh wow joe, I bet those Lindsay Lohan and Christine O'Donnell endorsements put him over the top. How on earth can Colin Powell compete with that! LMAO
Perhaps you think an endorsement from Hugo Chavez is better ? LOL !!
Well today should be an interesting day. I find out whether I still have a business or do I add eight people to the unemployment and become one of the retired folks.
Obama win = I'll be playing a lot of golf.
Romney win = eight people still have a job
Your in business? BS
i sincerely hope you are on the golf course. looks like you can afford it.
Obama/Biden 2012
is that more Tea Party and Republican scare tactics "settersperch" Your employees you lay off can start their own dam bussiness and put you out of business anyways. It's the American way. President Obama 4 more years.
setter,
your no business owner, your a fool.
Settersperch, that's just a horrible, evil, coniving, manipulative, sociopathic position. Did you actually tell your employees that if Obama wins, they're out of a job? Don't you realize that's blackmail?
Oh, wait. You're a Republican. Nothing is benieth you. Never mind.
I am looking forward to exercising my right/responsibility as a citizen and voting this morning here in Iowa. I cannot tell you how many funny moments I have had reading the postings here over the last few weeks. I may even actually miss them. Great comic relief when drinking coffee in the morning...
Come back tomorrow for the grand finale! No matter how it goes, there is going to be a LOT of gloating, celebrating, crying, moaning, and excuses.
Geez, Air Thief ... that sounds similar to the last 4 years ! LOL !!
"Pretty soon after they do their jobs then they’re not relevant either because it’s now up to you."
I really wish they wouldn't think this way.
What if the volunteers in 2008 had been making calls for the ACA.
Why can't he ask us to make calls for a reasonable debt bargain or the jobs act?
Surely they've learned by now that political mobilization is at its greatest import when you're actually trying to govern. If he keeps the volunteer organization partially mobilized, then he could rally grassroots support to win the conversation in spite of dogged GOP message discipline (it's hard to win a narrative when 10 Dems make 10 different pro-ACA arguments and 10 GOPers all make the exact same argument about debt-- even if its misleading, it wins).
If he had won the argument when ACA was being passed, this election would be a landslide.

ok what is your point, 99 percent of those names, the average American does not reconize the name. So what is your point. Gen(R) Powell is a house hold name. You go back and ask anyone on that list who they would have liked to serve under and I bet Powell names will be on the top of this list. It's too late to still be campaigning like you and Mitt are doing. What's wrong you are scared. It's game time baby. The fighters are back in their corners waiting for the bell to ring and still the President of the US Barack Obama.
The best thing about a Romney win? Getting rid of Joe Biden!
@ Fass Family, post 25.1
I find your list amazing not because it's so long but because Romney is a coward! While these men you say indorsed him where fighting in a war (Vietnam War) Romney was relaxing on the beach in France! No one in the Romney family in the entire history of the United States has ever served in the military and of his 5 boys guess how many serve in or served in the military, NONE. Don't you think it's time we make it a requirement for the Presidential Office? My father and my Uncle died in that war and my son is on his 19 year serving in Afghanistan as I vote today. I would never put a coward in the position of his Commander-in-Chief. Shame on you for even suggesting it!
@fass.... god get a life, but do go vote!
Fass Family- excellent post. It shows the massive support Romney has from our top brass who have tired of the constant cliff-hanger drama we've experienced the last four years. They also realize that we cannot support this for another four year term or we'll head over the cliff for sure!
Romney/Ryan 2012.
Fass just posted a list form a chain email. And FYI, the list of "Romney" endorsers is the same list of whiny asses (most of whom are older than dirt and no longer in the military and haven't been for quite some time) who whined about the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell. You can find the same list by searching the letter sent about how the repeal of don't ask don't tell would threaten national security. What? It went off without a hitch? Say it ain't so!!!!! So Yahoo, Romney has a list full of old white men who are bigoted homophobes on his side! You should celebrate! LMAO
Hey Shellie- know the best part? Romney/Ryan are ahead in the latest polls! Have a nice Election Day! LMAO!!!

I know you love Clinton, if you want to talk about cowards look at your idol. Clinton ran away and hid in Canada. While we are talking of cowards which branch of the Armed Forces did your boy Obama serve in? I also noticed that you didn't mention which branch of the Armed Forces you served in. Guess that makes you a coward, too!
STAND DOWN, AMERICA!!
NObama 2012!!!
Obamanos!
You might... but only if Fox News thinks it will help them win an election for the party they are in bed with.
