Updated 7:48pm ET In the storm-ravaged states of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, officials have moved some Election Day voting locations, although many remain unchanged.
As of noon Monday, Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill said that utility companies in her state have reported that electricity has been restored to all but two of 773 voting precincts in the state.
Gov. Cuomo signed an order allowing any voter to vote at any polling place on Tuesday – and in New Jersey, it's possible to vote via email or fax. NBC's Ron Allen reports.
Her Web site posted the two voting place changes:
· Bridgeport’s Longfellow School polling place has been relocated to Aquaculture School, 60 St. Stephens Road, Bridgeport.
· New London’s Ocean Beach polling place has been relocated to Harbor School, 432 Montauk, Ave, New London.

In New Jersey, storm-displaced voters who are temporarily staying in a part of the state where they are not registered, are permitted to go to any polling place in New Jersey on Election Day and vote by using a provisional ballot. The ballot will be forwarded to the county of the voter’s residence.

Displaced New Jersey voters also have until 5 p.m. ET on Election Day to fax or e-mail a request for a mail ballot to their county clerk.
More information is available at the New Jersey Division of Elections website, on voting by fax or e-mail. The voter must transmit the ballot to the county board of elections no later than 8 p.m. ET on Election Day.
Some counties in New Jersey have posted changes in voting locations or have alerted voters about the status of voting locations in their area.
Here are a few:
· Union County: County officials have posted an announcement that “almost all polling places are expected to be open on Election Day, Tuesday November 6. An updated list will be available later today.”
· Ocean County: The county has posted a list of changes in voting locations here.
· Atlantic County: The elections board has posted a list of changes in voting locations here.
· Monmouth County: The county has posted a list of locations here.
The county also says: “Provisions have been made for residents in two of the most severely storm-ravaged boroughs to vote in neighboring communities. Sea Bright residents will vote at the Fair Haven Fire House on 645 River Road in Fair Haven. Loch Arbour residents will be voting at the Allenhurst Fire House on 311 Hume Street in Allenhurst. All other residents will vote in their own community.”

In New York, as of Monday morning, some counties were still in the process of finding new voting locations but had not yet posted them on their Web sites.
Suburban Nassau County, which was hit especially hard by last week’s storm surge and flooding, has posted a list of the voting locations that have been moved or consolidated, here.
In addition, Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed an executive order on Monday that will allow displaced voters from one of the federally-declared disaster counties, such as Nassau, who may temporarily be in a county other than where they live to vote by affidavit ballot.
The affidavit ballot will be sent to the board of elections where the voter is registered. According to Cuomo’s press office, these votes by affidavit ballot will count for the office of president and United States senator “and for any other candidate and ballot initiative that appears on the official ballot where the voter is registered.”
Listed below are links to the polling place search tools that each state offers, but be aware that in some cases changes in polling locations might not be reflected in the voter lookup tool databases.
· Search tool for New Jersey voters here.
· Search tool for New York state voters here.
· Search tool for New York City voters here.
· Search tool for Connecticut voters here.
For voters who want to use early voting or an absentee ballot, here’s some information:
· In New York, a voter needs a specific reason to vote by absentee ballot, such as being out of the state on Election Day, having a disability, or being in prison due to having been convicted of a non-felony offense. The State Board of Elections has announced that the deadline for applying in person for an absentee ballot is Monday. Absentee ballots must be postmarked no later than Monday, Nov. 5. Those mailed ballots have until Nov. 19 to arrive at the local Board of Elections.
· In New Jersey, any voter can vote by mail. A voter may apply in person to the County Clerk until 3:00 p.m. ET Monday. Vote by mail ballot must be received by the County Board of Elections no later than 8 p.m. ET on Election Day.
· In Connecticut, voting by absentee ballot is limited to the sick and disabled, those in active service in the armed forces, and those absent from their town for all of Election Day. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is Monday and the deadline for returning the absentee ballot is 8 p.m. ET on Election Day.

And we were singin'....
"Bye, bye, Mr. It's All My Pie,
Drive your Caddies to the levee, let the Tea party die,
And good old boys will drink their whiskey and rye,
Singin' 'Grover Norquist, we spit in your eye'".
Flagrant voter suppression in Florida and Ohio will not stop the Democrats from winning. Comb all the nursing homes in the Deep South for senile Republicans, load them all up in busses to vote, and you will still lose big time. It's over.
The fate of the nation lies in the hands of "independents" who are uncommitted to either political party. The Democratic Party has become the pawn of Socialists who would turn the nation into a nanny state. The history of all such governments has been the death of millions in Russia, in China, and wherever else they have been voted into power or simply seized it.
If you vote Obummer, you are voting for "HOPE...NOT ACCOMPLISHMENTS".
The sick joke is that all those desperate people in NJ and NY are going to quickly learn that after Lord Obama wins on Tuesday, he isn't going to give a rat's ass about them on Wednesday. After his photo op in NJ he flew off to Vegas again for fun and frolicks. Live and learn I guess.

You know that's not true. Or maybe you just haven't been paying attention. President Obama is a decent, capable man who cares for all Americans, not just the 1%.
Funny how AT=TP posts about the middle class when he has no class at all.
No real thought, just talking points and vitriol makes for a douche nozzle of a personality.
Post something real without name calling, BS rhetoric and join reality where everyone is not a fringe element of their ideology.
Obama needs to change his name to "Brownie". What a fiasco with Sandy. This was Katrina II.
NOBAMA 2012!!!!
@PISSED OF
Germany, Sweden and many other countries would like to have some say in this.
Russia failed because they committed more than 50% of annual incomes to defense spending, something Romney vowed to follow.
China has this bad because they would deregulate corporations to the point that workers has no benefits, work more than 10 hours per day and 7 days a week. Again, some thing Romney wants to follow as well.
Clearly, Romney is what you are afraid of all this time, yet you know nothing about him. Go figure.
Here's two more of my cents.......which is all I will have if Robme is elected!
The following was written by a former U.S. ambassador (twice over) for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Funny, Robme will be inPittsburgh today. Apparently no one told him that Pittsburgh and much of the surrounding area is staunchly democratic. Guess he'll find out. Pardon me for not simply posting the link (which you will find below) but I just really like what the author had to say.
Why I'm voting for Obama
I'm a ticket splitter, but this year's choice is clear.

It's that time of year, my last column before the elections on Tuesday. I have tried hard to keep an open mind throughout the campaign, balancing evolving opinions, the fact that I consistently vote a split ticket and the fact that both my father and mother were lifelong Republicans. They would probably roll over in their graves up on Rose Hill if they were to see this column.
My decision to vote for the re-election of Barack Obama has five poles.
• The first is the position stated two years ago by Republican Senate leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky. that "the single most important thing we want to achieve" is to make Mr. Obama a one-term president. Mr. McConnell did not say he would work to pass legislation in the best interests of the American people. He said he would work most of all to get rid of Mr. Obama.
Yet Mitt Romney, the Republican Party's presidential nominee, even when he is trying to sound reasonable and bipartisan, has never said Mr. McConnell should step down as the GOP leader in the Senate. That is a reason not only to vote against Mr. Romney, but also to vote against Republican Senate and House candidates.
• The second problem is Mr. Romney's private talk with rich donors in Boca Raton, Fla., in which he wrote off -- inaccurately, by the way -- 47 percent of Americans as "victims," as "dependent on government" who wouldn't vote for him. His comments -- such as "my job is not to worry about those people" -- were those of a rich person who never has had to look with dismay at a pay slip with its deductions for Medicare, Social Security, federal, state and local taxes and believes that the only taxes that count are those that even he can't avoid by stashing his money in Switzerland or the Cayman Islands, or by taking deductions such as the $77,000 for his wife's dressage horse.
It is important to remember, on the eve of the elections, that Mr. Romney still has provided only a limited, edited report of his recent taxes. The information he has yielded is far short of what I had to provide federal authorities in 1989 and 1995 to win Senate confirmation of my appointments to be U.S. ambassador to the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
What, exactly, is Mr. Romney hiding? What does he not want the American people to see as they consider his candidacy for the nation's top office, the one where honesty really counts?
• The third reason to vote for Mr. Obama is the astonishing effort on the part of Republicans across the country to roll back the electoral franchise, seeking to hinder voting by the poor, those with limited literacy or bureaucratic skills and those who have moved often, frequently as a result of poverty or unemployment. I quote Republican Pennsylvania House leader Mike Turzai on the subject in June: "Voter ID, which is gonna allow Gov. Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done."
I have lived in many countries overseas -- in Africa, Europe and the Middle East -- and I have never seen politicians try to roll history backward in this way, as Republicans would take us back almost to the Civil War with 2012 versions of Southern poll taxes, literacy tests and other barriers to voting so as to improve their electoral prospects. Even the most corrupt governments normally take the public position that they want to increase participation in their elections, not decrease it by erecting barriers to voting. I keep listening for Mr. Romney to criticize these Republican efforts.
• The fourth concern is the makeup of Mr. Romney's foreign-affairs team. Its shortcomings showed up first in his July trip to the United Kingdom, Israel and Poland.
In London, on the eve of the Olympics, he took a cheap shot at America's best friends, the British, over what he professed to see as their lack of security preparedness for the games. He did this to make himself look good by comparison as head of the Salt Lake City Olympics. In the event, the London Olympics took place with no security problems.
Mr. Romney then took fundraisers with him to Israel, looking at Jerusalem as a potential land of milk and honey for campaign contributions. I guess he went to Poland to use it as a platform to substantiate his questionable claim that Russia is America's "No. 1 geopolitical foe."
Mr. Romney's international-affairs advisers are a collection of Bush-era, failed neoconservatives -- those wonderful people who brought us the Iraq war -- such as the comical John R. Bolton, Dick Cheney liaison Eric Edelman, ex-CIA counterterrorism officer and Blackwater security firm executive Cofer Black and former ambassador Richard S. Williamson. The thought of any of these people occupying key national security positions -- secretary of defense, secretary of state, national security adviser -- is enough to make one say a prayer while humming "Speed Our Republic."
• Finally, I cannot get past the impression that the only thing Mr. Romney believes firmly is that he should be the first Mormon president of the United States, and that it is morally acceptable to say anything to anybody to achieve that goal. The whole series of his appearances and statements, through the Republican primaries and his campaign against Mr. Obama, leads me to that conclusion.
For that reason, if for nothing else, I don't want Mitt Romney to be elected president and will vote for Mr. Obama.

@NC........Christie seems to think otherwise. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Christie probably has more insight about that situation than you.
@Brian-1335143.....the real sick joke is that a great good many of those folks in Breezy Point and the immediate area share Romney's views about the 47%, those people would say things about black people and hispanics that are despicable! But now THEY need the governments help and they will get it. But they will still be the hypocrites they were before, No, wait....they will be bigger hypocrites!
ROMNEY, has my vote, I am a true American and will not let our country to the immoral wolfs. WILL YOU?
Best argument there is for not going back to the policies of the GOP:
Private Sector Payroll Employment
This was the CNN Money headline in Bush's last month of office:
Job loss: Worst in 34 years
Employers slashed 598,000 more jobs in January
Are we really going to vote for that again? Romney's tax plan was written by the same guy that wrote Bush's.
Damn right I'm happy about the last 4 years. The real question is, do you want 4 more like the last 4? Or 4 like the 8 before Obama?
Not only do I not want to go back to those days, I want to get rid of any one that reminds me of those days. That means getting rid of those in Congress that represent those days. If you won't work together it's time you leave! Romney has yet to show he will work with Democrats, he's even just recently shown it by sending Ohio donations to a Republican Governor rather than to anyone on the other side of the isle. He refuses to hold out his hand! Romney needs to let his actions show his intentions, words mean nothing to us any longer! Show US!
Bush over Obama? HELL YES!!!!!
Obama has spent as much in less than 4 years as Bush did in 8.
NO MORE 4 44!!!!!!!
NOBAMA 2012!!!!
Funny how nitwits point toward the executive branch as fully responsible for any demise of the country. Congress controls the purse strings and laws of the land.
BTW Confussed, it's aisle. Words mean a lot. Actions mean a lot. Both are weak with our current administration.
Voter suppression in Florida and Ohio will not stop the Democrats from winning. Comb all the nursing homes in the Deep South for senile Republicans, load them all up in busses to vote, and you will still lose big time.

I went to reply to your post and accidentally hit the approval button. Oh well. What I wanted to say was that those are some crazy sources you cite. Come back tomorrow. That redhead and her friends will set you straight.
The fix is in and Obama might well win--we are going to see the ultimate corruption of our elections thanks to Democrat Fraudocrats.
I should say Larry Sabato is predicting a big Obama win with 290 electoral votes--probably from squeaker states won by the kind of fraud you cited. But Sabato's track record for accuracy is very very strong. But hey if we get Obama for another four years we will see the mediocre record of the last four repeated and made worse by the disastrous ball and chain of Obamacare. And Barack will have to deal with Iran. Maybe then the American people will have learned a lesson--or love being Greece or Spain.
Pissed of(F?) --
I've often been angry over these last few years over the way politics is unfolding in this nation. Namely, how one party (Republican) can sabotage the economy just to try to hurt President Obama. But anger doesn't help me in my little world. Tomorrow I will walk the two blocks to my polling place and I will vote a straight Democratic ticket. I can already feel the healing beginning.
Brian -- just saw your post. "Democrat fraudocrats?" That's a new one. Think it'll stick? I don't.
I love the sound of Republican desperation the eve before an election. I hope -- maybe unrealistically -- that Florida will go for Obama, thereby nullifying any Ohio Republican fraud.
Funny, I heard voter fraud was done in Ohio with machines that were built by a Romney company. Just more conspiracy BS.
People on Long Island are having a hard enough time just getting gas to get to work. How are the supposed to get to further away polling places? The people are waiting in line for hours!!
msan4239 at least you can take comfort from the fact that after his photo op Barack flew off to Vegas for more fun and frolicking.
And if he wins Tuesday he won't give a rat's ass about you on Wednesday.

Guess Gods on Mitts side.
actually Sandy froze Mitt in his tracks I'm afraid. Despite Obama's ugly mean and nasty appeal to revenge.
Prove it Zack. Please and while you prove it: look back on history when religion blends with politics.

for god's sake - knock it off!!

Just go to sleep early tonight. Tomorrow it will all be over. Peace.
There is a different 1% that most don't realize that also directly affects Mitt in all his policy proposals.
1. Lower the tax rate across the board to 20%. The Mormon faith has a lot more well off people than the rest of the population. You even need to be wealthy for "God" to call on you to head one of their churches.
2. Cut Education budget. Most Mormons take care of their own whether home schooled or public funded.
3. Reverse Rode v Wade. Mormon faith does not allow abortions. If there is a pregnant single mother, They insist the mother give up the baby for adoption to another Mormon family.
4. Eliminate FEMA. Most Mormons take care of their own. And there is hardly a disaster in NV or UT.
5. Increase Military Spending. Given the Mormon faith is less than 2% of the population, Most young Mormon men would never see the battlefield. Even Mitt never served not his five sons.
6. Allow more Business credits and less regulations. The Mormon church is not just a faith but has many business interests as well. You would be surprised in all their business holdings.
Now here's something else to ponder: Mitt raised or introduced more "Fees" as Govenor than any modern day elected person. He may say he wants to reduce taxes but he believes Fees are separate.
1. Fees on Smoking and Drinking items.
2. Fees on anything that has caffeine. ie. your Coffee!
3. Fees on abortions and Planned Parenthood.
4. Fees on anything else that the Mormon faith does not condone and would not affect their own faith.
These are just a few examples what might occur if Mitt was elected. We couldn't stop him but everyone should be aware of the either "No negative impact" or "Silent benefit" for the Mormon faith.
I know this will enflame some but just something to consider if you compromise your religious beliefs voting for Mitt.
If Mitt wins and imposes fees on coffee, he may inadvertently start a new "Coffee-Party!"
@keith
Your post is a joke. Fear is what you are pushing. The same fear of the 60's when the voters were afraid of Kennedy because of his religion.
The Kennedy's were just regular Catholics attenders. They held no high office in their faith. Mitt was and could still be considered a Bishop for the Mormon church. He not only condone all of their doctrine but enforced it. A man with power and wealth in that religion. He would have a hard time representing the 100% if his policies affected his faith a negative way.
Doesn't matter you push FEAR based on a man's religious beliefs, no defense for that. I remember the 60's and the fear based on Kennedy's religious beliefs.
Just when is it a better time for voters to get the truth? After the election and its too late to act?
Keith We have never gotten the truth about Obama s past and what happened at Benghazi. We're still waiting.
Yea and ask FDR we want the truth about Pearl Harbor AND GWB with 9/11!!!! Conspiracy has no place in politics!
@sharriannie, here is something that isn't a joke......well, at least if you are a Mormon it isn't. Look up "planet" Kolob and "sacred" underwear and see who believes in that crap. Yep, that's Robme's beliefs. Bishop Robme. What kind of bishop has dressage horses and elevators in his muti-level car garage? Money is Robme's god! If he had to choose between his money and his wife, Annie would be kicked to the curb without so much as a goodbye! Etch-a-sketch is nothing but a first-rate hustler who will say and do anything to get in the White House.
Romney sucks
Concise. But don't boo, VOTE!
That was very creative. Is your family proud of your amazing command of the english language?
Sandy can work against Obama. The Dems won't go out to vote The Repubs will.
Will find out tomorrow.
Independents are leaning towards Romney 47% - 40% Obama. The President is in trouble.
WOW..Connecticut officials are very clearly behind the good ole' 8 ball on this one. I certainly hope both parties representatives step forward to straighten this situation out. Some of these people can't even get out of their neighborhoods. WELL...Connecticut needs to be ...um..reprogrammed for the storm situation. Apparently, they haven't gotten it yet...a week later. A pity, really.
Everything Mitt will do will be based on his faith. His faith is priority one. Just look at those tv ads, The missing child in NY where he shutdown Bain Capital to look for this child. All the executives were Mormon and the family was Mormon as well. Then there was the dying child where he was there at the child's bedside, the family was Mormon. I doubt if this would have happened if these families were of any other faith! There is even a pending lawsuit against Bain Capital where five executive were discharged because they were not Mormon. His involvement with the 2002 Games was only based on the Mormon church and protect their investments first and help his divine journey for a better place in heaven. It was not because he loved the "Games" or was patriotic. Mitt really has no experience with any other faith, he was born a Mormon so he really doesn't understand the rest of us have a different faith that is much different than his. Mitt has never served in the military, he chose to use his Mormon faith as an exception to dodge the draft. None of his five sons have ever served either. When Mitt wants to increase the military spending and does his saber rattling, he knows that this would not really affect anyone that is Mormon, he would be only sending our main stream religion young boys to war.
His love for this country is only due to that the Mormon faith was created in America and Mormons believe that when Jesus returns it will be to America first and save ONLY the Mormons beccause they believe they are the only "true" faith. Connect the dots before you vote...there is a Mormon agenda!
How would you feel that the very website you use to track your family history based in Provo, Utah is associated with the Mormon church? Would you feel betrayed and violated that your privacy was shared by the Mormon church for their own belief to baptize the dead to the Mormon faith? The very information you add to your family tree online is being used for other purposes. How would you feel that Mitt Romney who was a Bishop in the Mormon church will have access to all your personal family history? All privacy will be lost!
Keith trying to scare people with false statements. You been drinking to much kool aide.
I've worked with Mormons before. I hate working with Mormons. If you're not a Mormon, you're not a real person to them. Even before Romney got the nomination I was telling all my friends that I could never vote for a Mormon.
Do the research yourself, everything is true. don't compromise your own faith just to vote your party ticket and not the person! I am an Independent and when faced with "Lesser of two Evils" vote for neither!
Just like Kennedy followed the Pope's orders? Like that?
Go back to your drug induced sleep.
NOBAMA 2012!!!!!
COinFl that means Harry Reid is a A$$Hole
keith it's not about religion. It's about the economy.
The Kennedy's were just regular Catholics attenders. They held no high office in their faith. Mitt was and could still be considered a Bishop for the Mormon church. He not only condone all of their doctrine but enforced it. A man with power and wealth in that religion. He would have a hard time representing the 100% if his policies affected his faith a negative way
Proud -- "That means...."
Could be true, could be true. Personally, I could do without Reid, or Pelosi for that matter.
But who was Reid running against? Wasn't it Sharron Angle? (The angry tea-party woman who was calling for "second ammendment remedies" to change the political process). I guess I'd have to choose Reid over a banana republic type psycho. You got me. If I lived in that state I would have voted for Reid. I've been humbled.
We all make mistakes. Peace.
Jesus would have to go to the "planet" Kolob to find these foolish Mormon people. Then he'll have to get past all the Osmonds. Heck, if they all vote, that might be enough votes right there to put Sketchy over the top.
Hoping for a Romney victory. But where ever this goes, God Bless America ! This country needs to pull together after this election. Hopefully left & right can find middle ground & quit acting like spoiled children.
I agree with everything you said except the "Hoping for a Romney victory" part.
IMO, whomever wins, America loses.
What is it with you democrats? How can you say the the storm is done because of Mr. Romney???? There is no one that can change the weather. There is no one that can create weather. So get over it, and stop acting like dip-@!$%#s already.................
Seems God is stepping in for Romney. Everyone knows that liberals won't go out to vote if they might get wet. They might melt.

Those are all Mitt's words and desires not mine.
Hey Obama it was a terrorist attack at Benghazi. You watch four men die. You left them behind.
Dont forget FDR with Pearl Harbor and GWB with 9/11, or the other presidents who had fallout days overseas. The fact Obama was on the other side of the planet and could not get to them in time must break your heart to realize he is not a superhero...
If Obama worried about the economy when he first took office and not healthcare he wouldn't be in the pickle he's in now.
The polls are so close because white Americans are afraid to say they are voting republican, because they don't want to be called racist. It's known as the Bradley affect.
I hope things get better for these folk soon, and that they can get to the polls. I hope they keep in mind when voting the pathetic response by the Federal Govt. while the President jets all over the country on their dime.

Too much cheese for ol Keith. Spoiled cheese. He's turned rotten inside.
