New poll shows ‘Sandy effect’ on election

A new NBC poll should give both presidential campaigns reason to hope. Obama comes in at 48 percent; Romney at 47 percent. Taking Sandy into account, 80 percent in the Northeast said they approved of the president's handling of Superstorm Sandy. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.

The only way barack my mama wins this election is by corruption and being a thief. They are stealing signs of Romney and their leader is telling his supporters to get even with revenge on the American people and vote for my mama.

Romney preaches love and kindness.

Have you considered that there are channels other than FOX, learning to read or even a change in meds? Most people could care less whom you vote for as long as you make an informed vote - your lack of information scares people.

Romney preaches eviscerating government, and handing your tax dollars to his corporate buddies. Then he tells you the other guy is responsible for stealing your life. Believe him and get more whitebread and baloney, or believe the evidence, and vote for Obama.

This morning there was on CNBC news a convience store rep. who said that putting generators into gas stations so that they could pump gas in a power outage was not profitable. A generator cost at least $10k and they only made one cent a gallon. In Florida, after several storms where stations had gas but could not pump it, it became a law that all stations have generators. This shows that both private and individual states need to be directed to the safety of the public. There is a place for federal regulations.

The people who are looking for jobs are doing it because they cannot find jobs. Some of you people think people who cannot find jobs do not want jobs. Our jobs have been sent overseas due to the signing of NAFTA. This was done by the "wonderful" Mr. Clinton. During my lifetime there has never been so many unemployed people. Blame all this mess on Bush, when most of it probably started during Clinton's term. Everything is not what it appears to be. This probably applies to Obama's reign, also.

Just spend some time pretending you are looking for a job -- talk to companies all over this land, and most of them will tell you there are very few, if any, jobs available.

BTW, if Obama's hands have been tied, George Bush's were the last two years he was in office. If something is broken, try to repair it. It is evident Obama is not going to do that. He lied to the American people when he said he would fix the economy in 4 years or not run again. If Obama wins, he's coming back into a mess, and if Romney wins, he's just coming into a mess. Whoever wins needs to get the illegal immigrants out of this country. We do not have enough money or jobs for them. BTW, the numbers are incorrect on the jobless percentage. There are people out there still looking but are no longer drawing unemployment, and they are not counted.

Bush senior and serial adulterer Gingrich and the Republicon Congress pushed NAFTA Clinton was blackmailed into signing it because of his affair with Monika and threat of impeachment NAFTA was a Bush senior and all the Texanans down in Texas idea all the Bushes are frendly to Mexico and they wanted all the Mexican truckers to have easy access to the US.

Elda B - Why would you waste a vote on Mr. "Magic Underwear"? Mittens has no values. If he did, they would constantly be subject to change, depending on who is right in front of him at the time.

Never have I ever seen such a campaign as this, if bs was money we would be debt free. After women have seen and heard what mittens has in order they still vote for him OMG. Brings to mind Stephford Wives.

I will be voting for Obama as I did last year. He has shown class and caring for us the people.

                      • Your (Mitt Romney) and your Tea -Party sure takes this "end times", Armageddon, Jesus-is-coming-back-soon stuff literally. And Right- wingers desperately want this man command of the US military.

How can this, not, concern most other Americans? But fair-minded /balanced citizens And when Romney becomes President, he'll cut your Social safety nets … Ha, ha (don't blame me) if, you, American loser gotten screwed over. And once he starts ripping apart America's social nets, you aren't going to get them back

My mom taught me right from wrong. I may have a big mouth, but when I see something I don't like… I got-to-say it.

                      Romney is one dangerous/scary dude

                      :(

I am a female with college degrees I earned by working for them. I am a single grandmother raising 3 grandchildren, I do not get foodstamps or money from the state programs. We were without power for over a week after a storm and the President was not concerned then so his Sandy response was just to get votes not because he is really concerned. I have in the last few months seen several warehouses and factories close down here and in the surrounding areas but have not seen any new job prospects open up for people. Small businesses that have run for geneerations have closed under the new regulations put into motion by Mr Obama. I have seen through work many disabled and senor citizens lose mmany of their medical benefits under the new OBamacare plans and regulations. I am definitely for Romney/Ryan we need his economical experience and just because he has a different opinion of areas does not mean women are getting pushed back at all but it may mean that self-accountibility may be more pronounced. Our current president scares me with his wreckless disregard and going against majority wishes and the welfare of those most vulnerable.

ckss60. You are a complete moron. You are also a liar. Obamacare is not even in effect yet, but somehow "I have seen through work many disabled and senor citizens lose mmany of their medical benefits under the new OBamacare plans and regulations." Judging from your fictional post, I'd say your future is about as dim as your brain, no matter who is president.
