Updated at 5:50pmET: A rapidly-approaching conclusion loomed over the 2012 election on Saturday, as President Barack Obama, Republican nominee Mitt Romney, their running mates and surrogates swarmed a series of battleground states to make their closing messages.
Obama and Romney each employed a mixture of uplifting, forward-looking rhetoric with attacks on the other during a whirlwind tour of battleground states set to decide the election on Tuesday.

Looking for a catalyzing moment to push past Obama in those swing states, Romney opted to play up the president's comments Friday at a rally, at which he urged supporters to vote as a means of seeking "revenge" against Republicans.
"Yesterday the president said something you may have heard by now that I think surprised a lot of people. Speaking to an audience, he said you know voting is the best 'revenge,'" Romney said. "He told his supporters, voting for revenge. Vote for revenge? Let me tell you what I’d like to tell you: Vote for love of country."
At a campaign stop in Newington, N.H., GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney stressed his support of entrepreneurs if he is elected president.
The Obama campaign, in response Saturday afternoon, called the line of attack "very small."
"I think it's interesting that that's the closing argument that the Romney campaign is making," said Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt.

The remarks were consistent with Romney's effort to project momentum heading into the campaign's final weekend, riding high after drawing the largest crowd of its campaign at a Friday night rally in Ohio. The Republican ticket has essentially tried to co-opt the themes of "change" from Obama's 2008 campaign as its closing argument now against the president.
Speaking in Mentor, Ohio, President Barack Obama speaks about his Administration's accomplishments of the last four years.
But the Romney campaign's outward optimism clashed with new polls giving Obama an ever-so-slight edge in pivotal swing states. New NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist polls showed Romney trailing Obama by six points among likely voters in Ohio, and by two points in Florida.

Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan's trip Saturday afternoon to Pennsylvania, a state which the GOP has only contended in the final days of the campaign, was emblematic of the campaigns' dueling perspectives toward the campaign. The Romney campaign argued it was a sign of surging momentum while the Obama campaign cast the trip as an act of desperation — a Hail Mary effort driven by foreclosed opportunities in other battleground states. (Romney will stop in Pennsylvania on Sunday.)
While the outcome on Election Day is far from assured, a certain wistfulness set in as Obama looked back at his four years in office. He argued his experience as president showed he was someone whom voters could trust, meaning to imply as well that Romney wasn't.
"When you elect a president, you don’t know what kinds of emergencies may happen. You don’t know what problems he or she may deal with," he said. "But you want to be able to trust your president."

And amid the late-breaking attack by Romney meant to cast Obama as embittered, the president told a crowd in Mentor, Ohio: "I don't feel cynical. I feel hopeful."
There were signs that awareness of the campaign's approaching horizon had set in among the Romney campaign as well.
"It was very emotional when I gave my last address by myself, because I hear the voices and the passion of the people out there that are really hurting, and they are etched in my mind and my heart, as they are with Mitt," Ann Romney told the press corps traveling with her husband. "It's been an extraordinary experience."

The full range of reflection would have to wait, though, until Wednesday. Obama and Romney — along with their running mates, Vice President Joe Biden and Ryan — each have a long list of stops ahead of them during the remainder of Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Their efforts are met by hoards of Democratic and Republican surrogates, who fanned out across the country as part of a frenzied effort in hopes of adding a few more swing states to their candidate's column on Tuesday.

Romney's new campaign strategy is to now be called the "Movement " ? You know exactly what i thought of! Ryan says he smells success ..I don't think that's what your actually smelling !
Vote for love of country...a country that let's us rich folks hide our money in off-shore accounts while all the rest of you suckers pay tax....for me.
Sincerely,
Mitt R-money
Politics is showbiz for ugly people..and the loser - Mitt - goes home crying..in an ugly way..?
On one side is a guy who wants to run the country like a business, and on the other side, a guy that genuinely wants to put all Americans on the same playing field...hmmm, which one to choose?
Obama creates poverty.
Romney creates prosperity.
Romney/Ryan 2012!
@In Palm Springs Ca-6558379
If Romney ever had a "Movement" he wouldn't walk like he does... and Ryan's smell of success would be Sh!+.
Exactly when and where did Romney "create prosperity" for anyone but himself, some Swiss and Cayman Island bankers, and some Chinese businessmen?
Well, lets break it down...
Romney:
Wants to create jobs by giving tax breaks to the rich and pay those tax breaks by taxing the middle class
Obama:
Wants the Rich to pay their fair share of taxes like everybody else
Romney:
Believes that Men should make more because they are the bread winners of the home
Obama:
Equal pay for everyone doing the same job
Romney:
Government can decide who one sleep with or marry
Obama:
Government should stay away from peoples bedrooms and their personal lives
Romney:
I will get rid of Planned Parenthood
Obama:
Women have the righ to choose, and planned parenthood helps women make those choices
Romney:
Let Detroit and Ohio go bankrupt, they asked for it
Obama:
Hell NO, not on my watch. The Good folks in Detroit and Ohio need a second chance, they are as American as everyone else
Romney:
We need more battleships too fight Russia; our biggest enemy
Obama:
This is not a game battleships Governor. We have fewer horses than we did in WWI
Romney:
oops
Obama:
You damn right
Can't
Is there gravity where you live?
Because it is obvious that reality doesn't happen in your alternate universe.
Ask GOP Gov Christy how helpful Obama has been, then get back to us.
The Romney vision of disaster relief is to fill up a bus with water and tuna, take some pictures, park the bus on a corner a few miles from an impacted area, and wait for the folks in need to trudge to the bus.
The Obama vision of disaster relief is to work with state and local government to give them any and everything needed begin recovery.
Voting a straight Democratic ticket is the perfect revenge against the a---holes in congress who have tried to obstruct the recovery, so they can blame the lack of recovery on the President. Are these guys twisted or what? Get them out of the way! Go visit the money you have stashed around the world Romney. I guess money doesn't buy you everything.
Obama is a president for lazy people. He takes money from richer people to feed poorer people. That is not a correct way to do it. The right way is to create more business and make lazy people work rather than feeding them.
Hopefully, they wiped and flushed afterwards. Then in 3 days, we can flush both of those turds from our memories.
PS, Palm Springs, is it true Mary Bono is on the ropes?
Hey German, if you think Romney creates prosperity you should talk to the people in Freeport where Bain the company Romney still has money invested is moving their jobs to China.
If Romney can't stop his own company from moving jobs overseas, do you really think he will try and stop anyone else?
And cantafford we all know there is not anything that our president could do that would make you happy. If President Obama walked on water, you would complain he couldn't swim.
You really enjoyed the bush years that much? Did you enjoy the recession? Do you know that Romney's ideal of change is taking us back to the very bush policies that failed our country so badly and that we are still recovering from?
The republicans are hiding bush while bringing back his old staff and policies. What? The recovery is too slow so let's just return to the policies that broke our economy in the first place. With that kind of thinking the republicans then wonder why we don't admire their brand of intelligence.
Cant, please stop blaming the President for every local pissing contest, means nothing. New Jersey sets its own rules. The federal government does not over-see Utility Work Crews. I read somewhere that the dispute had been resolved and they were making nice again. Find something else to fight argue about. A 6 man work crew is hardly earth altering.
Americans, don't feed the Germ, a troll, answering her only encourages further nonsense.
Obama 2012
"Obama is a president for lazy people. He takes money from richer people to feed poorer people."
Exactly when and where did Pres Obama do that?
More government, more taxes, less freedom- Vote Obama
Less government, less taxes, more freedom- Vote Romney
I guess voting for revenge would be accurate for those that were butchered out of jobs through Romneys BainNomics plan. It would suck to work at a place for 25 years and then have some corporate raider buy and sell to make a quick 100 million.
I hope all those that happened to do vote out of revenge as it will feel good. I voted early for Obama in the swing state of Ohio and it felt great walking out the door!! Lots of Obama stickers in that polling lot so I expect Mitty to lose Ohio...........
According to NBCNews, President Obama is up by 6 points in Ohio. If that were really true, why would he still be campaigning so feverishly out there? Something tells me that poll is way off the mark. Most other polls have the candidates within just a couple points of each other.
Let me guess. You are a "hard working" RICH person right? Thus you have no ******g idea how hard poor people work for a measily income they can barely exist on.
l... Al in Visalia CA
Yes party line Mary is ..When they redrew the district it seems they broke up the 5000 more republicans then democrats ..now the democrats are about even ...And they found out BonoMack voted against Medicare and social security not once but twice ..and has raised her own salary 9 times from the day she took office..And now has voted herself and her family healthcare for life at the taxpayers expense !
Here's what the non partisan Congressional Research Service has to say about cutting taxes to increase income. (Summary below)
Throughout the late-1940s and 1950s, the top marginal tax rate was typically above 90%; today it is 35%. Additionally, the top capital gains tax rate was 25% in the 1950s and 1960s, 35% in the 1970s; today it is 15%. The real GDP growth rate averaged 4.2% and real per capita GDP increased annually by 2.4% in the 1950s. In the 2000s, the average real GDP growth rate was 1.7% and real per capita GDP increased annually by less than 1%.
There is not conclusive evidence, however, to substantiate a clear relationship between the 65-year steady reduction in the top tax rates and economic growth. Analysis of such data suggests the reduction in the top tax rates have had little association with saving, investment, or productivity growth. However, the top tax rate reductions appear to be associated with the increasing concentration of income at the top of the income distribution.
The share of income accruing to the top 0.1% of U.S. families increased from 4.2% in 1945 to 12.3% by 2007 before falling to 9.2% due to the 2007-2009 recession. The evidence does not suggest necessarily a relationship between tax policy with regard to the top tax rates and the size of the economic pie, but there may be a relationship to how the economic pie is sliced.
Since Romney's whole platform is refuted by these findings, Senator Mitch McConnell (R) blocked the release of the Report. It surfaced again in the Nov 1 2012 New York Times.
In a scenario where a company is already financially troubled and jobs are already at risk without intervention, how do you justify pinning the blame on Romney? It would be wonderful if you knew how to be objective in your criticism.
Try this one: Romney's job at Bain Capital was creating wealth for investors. If jobs were created, it was an unintended bonus. His private sector experience was not focused on job creation and gives no indication of how he would create jobs if he were elected.
What drugs are u on fella. Where do you think all this stimulus money went, unemployed! Food stamps have doubled in the last 4 years.......Please educate yourself buddy.
Romney/Ryan 2012
RED States get more handouts than they pay TAXES.
So who are the lazy folks again?
Repubs, get your heads outta ya asses folks
RED States have some of the laziest folks in the country...
These are the folks that want "JOBS" without ever getting a foot in school
They are the most over-opinionated and under-educated folks on issues they have no knowledge of apart from Guns and religion
They accuse others of being lazy, but in reality, they are the one sucking the energy out of this ccountry, turning the country into a 3rd world country
Beezlemaestro .... "His private sector experience was not focused on job creation and gives no indication of how he would create jobs if he were elected."
Exactly!!!!! And we have been waiting for him to lay out a plan ... rather than "trust me"!!!!
And "trust me" comes from a man who lies and changes positions on a daily basis ...............
And then you have the gall to tell someone else to educate themselves? Are you out of your mind? Just for sheer amusement, what is your source for that claim? And remember the stimulus was about $800 billion.
"Romney's job at Bain Capital was creating wealth for investors"
Yes Beezle, that is exactly right, for the 1% raping those who worked for years. You are either a fool or a tax evader to support Mitty.........
1994.............
ROMNEY: “I believe that abortion should be safe and legal in this country. I believe that since Roe v. Wade has been the law for 20 years, that we should sustain and support it. And I sustain and support that law and the right of a woman to make that choice.”
KENNEDY: “On the question of the choice issue — I have supported the Roe v. Wade. I am pro-choice. My opponent is multiple choice.”
@ CantAffordNoMore
You're as clueless as Romney, and that's quite sad.
The confusion regarding the unions had nothing to do with Obama or any supporters! NADA, GOT IT!
Secondly, Obama has FEMA, etc. dealing with the Sandy disaster with the military hauling in gasoline, 18 cargo plans flying in utility trucks and experts to help resolve the electricity outages, obviously RedCross and much more. He is in touch with those overseeing the dealings of this disaster in between the campaign stops. His office goes with him wherever he goes whether it be by bus or plane, he's always available when needed.
Go back to watching your Saturday morning cartoons, please, for all our sakes!
OBAMA/BIDEN - 2012 - Voted Democrat ALL THE WAY!
I will take your advice O'bama. I will vote for revenge against your policies for the last 4 years, right here in the swing state of Virginia. Get your lying ass out of our White House!!!
As governor in 2004, Romney signed a permanent assault weapons ban into law in Massachusetts. That included guns like the AR-15, which was one of the weapons used by suspected gunman James Holmes in the Colorado theater shooting.
“I believe the people should have the right to bear arms, but I don’t believe that we have to have assault weapons as part of our personal arsenal,” he said on Fox News in 2004.
But in 2006, when Romney was planting the seeds for a run for president, he began to walk back on some of the hard-line positions he took on gun ownership in Massachusetts. First, he joined the NRA as a designated "Lifetime Member." And in 2007, he told a crowd in New Hampshire, plainly, that he wanted the NRA's endorsement.
"I'm after the NRA's endorsement. I'm not sure they'll give it to me. I hope they will. I also joined because if I'm going to ask for their endorsement, they're going to ask for mine."
Quiet One,
Great factual post.
I love seeing our government at all levels working together in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy.
Just an FYI!
I saw a commercial for 60 Minutes where tomorrow they will have Reid & McConnell sitting together and asking them why they don't play nicely together.
Wonder how they're going to respond.
Enjoy you weekend everyone!
OBAMA/BIDEN - 2012 - Voted Democrat ALL THE WAY!
Ken
You are out of your mind. People who became unemployed used to have jobs. How lazy could they have been if they had a job? That part of the stimulus that went to extend unemployment benefits in a time of few jobs keeps the unemployed from defaulting on their mortgages, home equity loans, and their credit card debt.
With no help for the unemployed, lenders would have been faced with a still bigger mountain of bad debt. We may have had to do another bank bailout as a result of misguided thinking such as yours.
Of course, you probably opposed the bank bailout as well. In the case of a widespread failure of our banking system, all those businesses that needed to borrow to keep operating would have failed as well.
Thinking such as yours surely would have led us into another Great Depression where 1 out of every 4 workers lost their jobs.
Romney comes out in his business suit with his portfolio and gives a boardroom speech. A speech with platitudes stolen from his opponent. "Fresh start" "real change" -- Hahaha!
Romney can't provide details because he knows it is the same failed crap of the GOP/Bush-era -- even worse. Others on the stage with Romney are from the Bush/Cheney administration, but don't look behind the curtain! He's counting on his supporters to catch Romnesia, to be hood-winked because they get their information from the rightwing propaganda machine, and just good old Hate.
Even stars of the Republican Party, from General Colin Powell to Chris Chistie to Charlie Crist aren't too sure they want Robme in the White House. They really do put country before Party. And so should you, the American voters.
Romney/Ryan - They aren't in it for you.
Updated for Noon EST on Saturday, November 3, 2012:
*** Spoiler alert: The overnight numbers from both RCP and FiveThirtyEight broke quickly, repeatedly, and decidedly in President Obama's favor.
---------------------------------------------------------
Real Clear Politics (RCP) consistently has been the "go-to" source for accurate averaged daily polling data for both FOXNEWS and NBCNEWS. With only 60 hours left to go in the 2012 presidential campaign, RCP continues to report that Obama holds increasing leads in eight of their 11 toss-up states while Romney clings to smaller and more static leads in the remaining three.
In descending order of 'percentage of lead' in favor of Obama, followed in ascending order of 'percentage of lead' in favor of Romney, here are the published averaged numbers from RCP as of Noon EST together with the most recent FiveThirtyEight election night probabilities of victory for either candidate:
In WISCONSIN, with 10 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 5.4%, up from 5.0% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama a 94.2% chance of victory here, up by 0.9% overnight and by an astounding 8.5% since Tuesday.
In PENNSYLVANIA, with 20 electoral votes, Obama's lead is holding at 4.6%. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama a 96.6% chance of victory here, up by 0.5% overnight and by a respectable 2.5% since Tuesday.
In MICHIGAN, with 16 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 3.5%, up from 3.0% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama a 98.6% chance of victory here, up 0.2% overnight and by 0.5% since Tuesday.
In OHIO, with 18 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 2.9%, up from 2.6% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama an 83.8% chance of victory here, up by 3.1% overnight and by an astonishing 10.5% since Tuesday.
In NEVADA, with 6 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 2.7%, up from 2.4% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama an 88.7% chance of victory here, up by 1.5% overnight and by an astounding 9.0% since Tuesday.
In IOWA, with 6 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 2.0%, up from 1.3% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama an 80.7% chance of victory here, down interestingly by 0.9% overnight but up overall by a substantial 6.8% since Tuesday.
In NEW HAMPSHIRE, with 4 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 1.8%, up from 1.3% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama an 80.4% chance of victory here, up by 1.7% overnight and by an astonishing 10.1% since Tuesday.
In COLORADO, with 9 electoral votes, Obama's lead has risen to 1.0%, up from 0.9% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Obama a 67.9% chance of victory here, up by 2.2% overnight and by an astronomical 12.5% since Tuesday.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
In VIRGINIA, with 13 electoral votes, Romney's lead has fallen to 0.3%, down from 0.5% on Friday. Interestingly, FiveThirtyEight increased Obama's chance of victory here (and not Romney's) to 67.0%, up 2.2% overnight. Nate Silver must be seeing something...
In FLORIDA, with 29 electoral votes, Romney's lead has risen to 1.4%, up from 1.2% on Friday. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Romney a 54.8% chance of victory here, but this margin is actually down a stunning 9.9% from Tuesday.
It should be noted that RCP's average in Florida does appear to have been hyper-inflated by two recent outlier findings in favor of Romney, the first a 6.0% margin today from the unapologetically right-leaning Mason-Dixon Group with localized results for only the two cities of Tampa Bay (site of the 2012 RNC) and Miami (Marco Rubio stronghold), the second a 3.0% margin from Gravis Marketing, a polling firm funded in large part by BAIN Capital, and an appreciably older finding by The Sunshine State News, an ultra-conservative website/blog which had Romney leading by 5.0% on October 24. Minus the influencesof these extreme outliers, Romney's true lead is likely well under 1.0% and quite possibly closer to that of dead heat. Ah, Florida....
In NORTH CAROLINA, with 15 electoral votes, Romney's lead is holding at 3.8%. FiveThirtyEight currently gives Romney a 79.6% chance of victory here, down 0.3% overnight.
So...
In order for Obama to win re-election the least complex route would be through maintaining his current lead in the five toss-up states where his existing margins are widest (Wisconsin at 5.4%, Pennsylvania at 4.6%, Michigan at 3.5%, Ohio at 2.9%, and Nevada at 2.7%). Doing so would bring his electoral vote total on Election Day to 271. In this scenario, Obama could still surpass 270 while failing to hold Iowa, New Hampshire, and Colorado.
However, should Obama fail to hold the strategic prize of Ohio, the loss could effectively be neutralized by any of the following combination of wins from states where FiveThirtyEight is currently forecasting Obama victories:
Path #1: Obama loses Ohio but holds the remaining three states where he presently leads, New Hampshire, Iowa, and Colorado resulting in 272 electoral votes.
Path #2: Obama loses Ohio but steals Virginia while also taking only one state from among New Hampshire, Iowa, or Colorado resulting in 270, 272, or 275 electoral votes, respectively.
Interestingly, with Romney's lead having diminished significantly in Florida over the past two weeks and with Hurricane Sandy forcefully highlighting the stark contrast between the candidates regarding the value and necessity if not the mere existence of FEMA in a state which has perhaps the greatest dependence on federal storm relief efforts in the nation, a 3rd path has now emerged which could provide for some interesting election night television:
Path #3: Obama comes from behind at the wire to win Florida. This scenario would require only that Obama win the three states in which his present leads are widest (Wisconsin at 5.4%, Pennsylvania at 4.6%, and Michigan at 3.5%), resulting in 276 electoral votes.
For Romney to unseat Obama, he not only would have to hold the three states in which he presently leads, Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia bringing his electoral vote total to 248, but also steal victories in both Colorado where Obama's lead rose Friday to 1.0% and in either Ohio (where Obama's lead today is 2.9%, up from Friday's 2.6%) or in Pennsylvania (where Romney's campaign suggested earlier this week that Obama's significant lead of 4.6% may be vulnerable). By so doing, Romney's electoral vote total would reach 275 or 277, respectively.
Romney's newfound "Pennsylvania Strategy," however, may be a highly-marketed feint designed to counter Obama's anticipated re-allocation of campaign resources to a quantifiably softening political landscape in Florida.
In any event, should Romney fail to steal either Ohio or Pennsylvania he could overcome this shortfall by capturing the four other states in which Obama's current leads are smallest (Colorado at 1.0%, New Hampshire at 1.8%, Iowa at 2.0%, and Nevada at 2.7%) resulting in an electoral vote total of 273.
FiveThirtyEight this morning estimates the chance of Election Day victory for each candidate as follows: Obama 83.7% (up markedly from Friday morning's 80.9%) and Romney 16.3% (down markedly from Friday's 19.1%).
FiveThirtyEight now also projects that on Election Day the final electoral tally will be as follows: Obama 305 (up 6 from Wednesday's 299) and Romney 233 (down 6 from Wednesday's 239).
Lastly, although it makes no difference in terms of the final result which can only be determined by the Electoral College, FiveThirtyEight currently predicts a national popular vote distribution on Election Day as follows: Obama 50.6% (up from Thursday's 50.4%) and Romney 48.4% (down from Thursday's 48.6%).
With only 60 hours of campaigning left, and with Friday's published October jobs report playing to predictably mixed reviews (economy adding more jobs than expected; unemployment rate ticking up one tenth of one percent to 7.9%), holdout voters may now be left to nothing more than the proverbial 'feel in their gut' as Tuesday approaches.
Mow the yard and stock up on popcorn today, people....Tuesday night is gonna be a whirlwind!
The President's efforts to solve our unemployment problem and to control the deficit have not worked. The President's economic plan for the next four years is devoid of detail and budget and is mathematically impossible.
The Obama administration document on the stimulus stated what the stimulus was designed to do. According to that document if the stimulus were passed unemployment would not go above 8%. That did not happen. The Obama administration created and used this document to sell the stimulus spending bill as the solution to the nations unemployment problems. The stimulus did not solve our unemployment problem. According to that official administration document if the stimulus did its job as it was designed then unemployment should now be well below 6%. Furthermore, if the stimulus bill had done its job then the President would not have to propose a second stimulus. The numbers in that document were not presented as speculation, they were presented as specification. This official Obama administration document said what the stimulus was going to do. Clearly what the Obama administration said would happen did not happen.
To me, reelecting the President means 4 more years of the same just hoping that things change. The President's new program to fix the the economy is just more of his same on going program to fix the economy. My biggest concern is all of the debt that has been building up. I estimate that an additional 5 trillion dollars of debt will end up costing the tax payers 50 trillion dollars to repay in 180 years. I agree with the President when he stated:
And the cost of our debt is one of the fastest growing expenses in the Federal budget. This rising debt is a hidden domestic enemy, robbing our cities and States of critical investments in infrastructure like bridges, ports, and levees; robbing our families and our children of critical investments in education and health care reform; robbing our seniors of the retirement and health security they have counted on.
Every dollar we pay in interest is a dollar that is not going to investment in America’s priorities. Instead, interest payments are a significant tax on all Americans–a debt tax that Washington doesn’t want to talk about. If Washington were serious about honest tax relief in this country, we would see an effort to reduce our national debt by returning to responsible fiscal policies.
Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that “the buck stops here. Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.
~ Senator B. H. Obama, March 2006
Perhaps Our Prez knows something MR PETERFFY DOESN'T . . . that is we have a POOR SOCIALIST COUNTRY like Mr Peterffy describes then IMMIGRANTS WON'T COME HERE ANYMORE!!! I LIKE THAT!!!!
GO TO YOUTUBE AND WATCH!!!

What do you think?? Could Socialism really work for Us here in the U.S.??
BIDEN/OBAMA 2012 . . . KEEP THE DREAM (and ME) ALIVE . . . YOU PAYING FOR ME!!!!
i dont see how anyone can vote for a president that abandoned our men at the embassy that was attacked. I figure were going to be stuck with him for another 4 years, I can only hope our country can recover from his arrogance. What really sucks is that we cant even get decent candidates anymore. Both sides sucks period. We need to support more independents
Perhaps if we pulled out Glenn Becks chalkboard of guilt by association... Seriously, educate yourself and connect the dots. What happened to cause the need for a stimulus, unemployment extension, and increase food stamps? The usual failed GOP/Bush-era policies that Mitt the Twit wants to revert to, only more "severely."
Marmaduke49 -- I don't see how you have time to post here, but failed to keep up on current events before you did. Read up (from credible sources, not rightwing propaganda) and you'd understand why Romney hasn't mentioned Benghazi since his major spanking in the debate. All low-information voters, please, voting is a responsibility.
Get a grip!
@HandsOffMyMedicare!!
I've seen this ad and went Googling to see who this guy is. He's a billionaire worth $4.6 billion, lives in CT and is involved in equestrian, horses, like Romney's wife is, which made me think MAYBE he's a friend of Romneys, just my opinion. Sounds like a late-in-race scare tactic so don't let this one video change your mind. There's a lot of desperate & false advertising out there now with the end of the race a few days away, nationwide, not just regarding Obama.
I believe in Obama, even more if possible after watching him deal with Sandy when she hit. He had things in place to deal with her ahead of time, naughty girl she has been.
Vote for who "you & your wife" believe is right!
My best to you and your wife!
Quiet One-2-3
Obama = all talk and no real action
Time for Obama to get Fired :-p
3 days and this nightmare will be over, and we can all look forward to getting real leadership in the White House.
Romney/Ryan 2012
Thank you for that note Quiet One . . if Peterffy is friends with a rich person then everything he says must be crap, especially if that friendship involved a horse!!!
I like it much better that our President is friends with actors & Hollywood elite because they have EARNED THEIR MONEY and they are obviously very smart, As well as Liberal, like I like 'em!!!!
BIDEN/OBAMA . . . KEEP THE DREAM (and ME) ALIVE . . . YOU PAYING FOR ME!!!
Can'tAfford,
Here's how this works. If you simply average up the salaries of ALL men and ALL women in the administration and compare them, that's called a SKEWED statistic, because you aren't taking into account what positions they hold.
Do this, find the average salary for ONE position. Then go case by case, and compare men to women who hold that position AND ALSO have equivalent experience and seniority.
Then get back to us.
Quiet, hands off,
The Hungary that the billionaire is talking about was a Soviet imposed Communist regime. Nothing like the 'socialism' practiced in Europe, Scandanavia or Canada. A strong social safety net in a capatalist structure, is the best way to grow an economy and provide a path to upward mobility. The 'socialism' of single payer healthcare and government support for children should more appropriately be called "Responsible Capitalism".
Damn right I'm a Liberal and proud of, I would rather be a Liberal than a Teabagger any day. The Conservative Republican no longer exists, you are now call the Teaparty, and most of the extreme teaparty people are completely nuts, they resort in lying, cheating, violence, bigotry, war, power, and greed.
Yes I am a Liberal and damn proud of it!
Can'tAfford,
Oh aren't you cute.
A little sexual undertone there to try to humiliate. Yeah, that's old and tired. Females have NEVER had that directed at them before.
I mean really, it's been 40,000 years, can't you guys come up with a new tactic, already?
And, great if your numbers aren't skewed, then by LOGIC and FACT, they followed the premise I posted above. So, can you please provide a link where I can take a look at that?
John Doe-2241225 ... I guess you haven't been paying attention to the latest Electoral stats ... it looks like in 3 more days the far right nuts will only get there daily dose of nonsense from Fox ... because Romney's dog and pony show will just be bad history ............
Everyone needs to look at this article before you vote, is this why Romney was picked as a candidate???
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/02/13/grover-norquist-speech-cpac.html
The right will not be picking Romney, but Norquist and company for President, is what the Right has become, God help us all!
ED . . Socialism can involve a blend of private and public ownership of corporations (like how we now own 75% of Allied Financial, GM, as well as Government Subsidy/Loans for companies like Solyndra), as well as varying degrees of Government funded Entitlements, healthcare, pensions, etc.
The common characteristic is extremely HIGH TAXATION . . so high that companies will locate elsewhere and people who can will leave as Mr. Peterffy indicates. Few corporations will locate in Spain, France, Greece etc. over China. With a personal income tax rate over 75% in France, job-creators and their associated businesses are already leaving France.
I would like to see the same thing here as we are aging as a population and we need to get a lot of resources!!!
Like Obama . . IF I AM LOOKING AROUND THE ROOM FOR MONEY . . I'd much rather TAKE YOURS!!!!
BIDEN/OBAMA 2012 . . . KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE . . . YOU PAYING FOR ME!!!!
I'd kind of like to know what you think is the reason he isn't mentioning it. (Personally, I believe it's an issue that just doesn't resonate as strongly with voters) There's no question in any sane person's mind that the administration mishandled it by continually touting the YouTube video as being the cause of the attack. If you think that the Libya issue constituted a spanking for Governor Romney, you're sadly mistaken.
Hands,
Can you tell us when Obama advocated for a 75% income tax rate? And enough with the freaking JOB CREATORS. They suck at job creation. The wealthiest 1% and corporations have pulled in record profits and seen their personal wealth sky rocket for the past 30 years. If they were JOB CREATORS, where are the damn jobs?
They're the RICH. RICH. RICH. RICH. RICH. God Bless them, I'm very happy for them, but face it, they're just RICH people.
I love it, the RICH are "job creators" the poor are "blood sucking leeches and lazy". I'm not a Christian, per se, but so many of you using this rhetoric are, and I can only imagine how hard Jesus would slap you upside the head.
Beezlemaestro ... while you are at it ... please explain why Bush sent "THOUSANDS" of our young to die in a trumped-up war!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do believe that after everything is said and done, particularly by the biased left leaning media, the majority of us will not allow the WH failed policies, confusion, division and inaction, untruths, deceptions and socialism to be forced down our throats and be imposed upon us for another 4 years, or ever again!!!
Yes, we do have some issues that will have to be addressed but it can be done without destroying everything that we have worked for and everything that has made this nation great and be admired by the rest of the world.
Wow! Politics is not enough for Sarah, she has to bring Religion into things too, even speculating about the Faith of the Objects of her Derision!!!
Task, Tsk, Tsk . . . Angry, angry Sarah!! Just be sure to PAY YOUR TAXES Sarah!!! We need YOUR MONEY more than YOUR BLESSINGS!!!! And I am especially excited to see an Up and Coming TAXPAYER by your side because I expect to live another 20 years!!!
BIDEN/OBAMA 2012 . . . KEEP THE DREAM (and ME) ALIVE . . . YOU PAYING FOR ME!!!!
What exactly is your point? Do you think I'm supporting the Bush administration's handling of Iraq? Are you building straw men because you're incapable of seeing faults in the candidate you support?
President Bush's mistakes in foreign policy have ZERO relevance to President Obama's.
wtw of KC ..... "everything that has made this nation great and be admired by the rest of the world".
Do you really think we were respected after Iraq ... IDIOT
Hand,
Just pointing out the hypocrisy of some of you. Sorry if it struck a nerve. That was the point, however. And yes, I have a great deal of derision for hypocrites. You should too.
I have no problem paying taxes. They're part of my civic duty and those who whine about them are pretty ridiculous in my eyes, because they're never going away. I also have no problem paying for your Medicare, as someone one day will be paying for mine.
No, what I have a problem with are whining hypocrites who post untruths as facts.
By the way, you do realize that typing in bold face, doesn't lend you any extra credibility or intelligence, right?
See I can do it too.
Take it off bold! For America!!!!
So you do not support Obama?
Beezlemaestro ... the problem with you folk is you won't except the short comings of the previous administration and the gigantic impact it has had on our entire nation ... and now you support someone from that same party ... who has not presented a plan ... and who lies at a drop of a dime!!!!
newscover, the rightwing are already trying to spin losses as due to Sandy. Ha, didn't they know Mitt believes in modern revelation? Oh my, maybe God is trying to tell them something.
wtw of KC -- I couldn't make it past the "biased left leaning media" but suffice it to say, if there was such a thing, it would be FAR more factual per journalistic standards than The
TwilightRepublican Zone. A more meaningful concern is the polarization of the media, in which rightwingers watch FAUX Noise exclusively with a little Hate Radio thrown in for good measure. The epitome of all this was Romney's campaign saying they would not be dictated by fact checkers.
Many of those who complain about paying taxes (typically Teabaggers) don't pay taxes. They use write-offs to show zero income, they are paid cash under the table, they barter, they do what ever they can to evade taxes -- Just like Mitt. Then they drive on the roads to the park with police protection to protest about it -- Compliments of the tax dollars from the rest of us. Hypocrite is a kind word.
newscover,
You are very kind, thank you….but don’t forget to mention Benghazi..
1. I haven't yet decided who I'm voting for.
2. What impact did President Bush's handling of Iraq have on the current administration's handling of Libya?
Stop trying to defend straw men arguments! Use that space between your ears! There are plenty of valid criticisms of either candidate. Posting that garbage only lends credence to the exhaustive gripe about everything being blamed on President Obama's predecessor.
Hands -- You're not fooling anybody.
wtw of KC ... because that's the only drum you can beat ... the Electoral college has gotten away from you!
And you should know when it's in the best interest of the nation ... not an election!
Beezlemaestro ... "I haven't yet decided who I'm voting for"
I see you carry a similar trait as Romney ..........
And if you haven't decided yet ... "Use that space between your ears!"
So, Mr. Romney is twisting words again. No surprise.
Let's see if he can twist this ...
Here is one quote from Billy Graham about what he thinks about cults like Mormonism:
"One of the ways some people seek to fill the empty place in their souls is with false religion—and when a cult leader persuades them that he has all the answers, they will sacrifice almost anything to follow him."
How true, Mr. Graham.
Sorry your son, Franklin, has decided to follow Mormonism. I know if you were not 94 years old and in frail health, Billy, you would be able to see what he has done to your Ministry and its followers, and it would break your heart.
This little video should show you everything you should know as to who you should vote for on Tuesday (or before if you can).
http://www.policymic.com/articles/17986/presidential-polls-2012-obama-will-ride-electoral-college-advantage-and-key-endorsements-to-victory-on-tuesday/268812
That's precisely what I'm doing, and why I summarily dismiss all the nonsensical arguments against either candidate. Wearing blinders only perpetuates the division in our country.
Patrick Henry, 1776 AD
Thank God it's over. And the handful of billionaires financing Mitt will lose.
Wonder what their goons will do to him when he doesn't deliver?
Obama inherited poverty
Romney challenges prosperity
Obama 2012
RAF,
And my inbox will no longer be blown up 25 times a day with emails from Obama. Lol.
and my phone will quite ringing off the hook with the lying ads from Romney. LOL
If these Billionaires are so concerned about the national debt why didn't they just pay it down !They have now wasted 2 billion and gotten no results .I may not be the smartest guy around but..i could have gotten them better results than this !
This is a difficult time for Mitt Romney as unlikely as it may sound as Election Day approaches he has run out of lies to tell. His staff has been working frantically to come up with new lies but they have used up every ridiculous scenario known to man. There is a rumor going around that as a last ditch effort Romney will accuse President Obama of making America vulnerable to invasion by space aliens………Maybe that will work.
WHERE ARE THOSE TAX RETURNS MITT ?????
“Voting is the best revenge!”, “spread the wealth!”, “you didn't build that!”. These words come from a president whose only real agenda for the next four years is to further divide this country when it desperately needs to come together.
The choice is clear, you can vote for an angry man named Obama who wants revenge against all who work hard and achieve or we can elect a president named Romney who wants to provide ALL of us with the opportunity to prosper and share in this country's bounty.
Looks like Joe, or who ever was impersonating Feisty, is back.
Anyway, I agree with Obama on this one. It is the very premise of our voting system. If you do not like what a politician has done, vote em out. if you do not like the fact that instead of working on "jobs, jobs, jobs" as the Republicans promised when they were elected into the 112 that they have been trying make abortion illegal, vote em out. If you do not like the fact that instead of focusing on "jobs, jobs, jobs" they have been trying to make Gay Marriage illegal, vote em out. If you do not like the fact that instead of working on "jobs, jobs, jobs" Republicans have been passing partisan jobs bills that they knew Reid would table, vote em out.
You vote is a referendum on their job as President/Congressional between what they promised to do and what they actually did. Obama went in and did a lot of things that he promised to do. Some of those promises were not kept. Some they could not get to and others were blocked by Congress (like closing Gitmo).
Here are the promises Obama has kept: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/promise-kept/
Here are the ones that he compromised on: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/compromise/
Here are the ones that are "in the works": http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/in-the-works/
Here are the ones that were not kept: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/promise-broken/
And here are the ones that were stalled for some reason (GOP intervention or otherwise): http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/obameter/rulings/stalled/
Here is the same list for the GOP: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/gop-pledge-o-meter/
Here are some highlights from the GOP list:
Update Nuclear Warheads: Kept
Reduce Federal Pay: Broken
Keep "Combatants" In Guantanamo Bay: Kept (this is the reason the Obama promise was broken)
Eliminate Congressional Resolutions to Honour Individuals and Groups: Kept
Enact Medical Liability Reform: Broken excerpt: Will "enact common-sense medical liability reforms to lower costs, rein in junk lawsuits and curb defensive medicine."
Publish the Text of Bills Online Three Days Before House Vote: Broken
Will Not Bundle Bills into Must-Pass Legislation: BROKEN
Make Bush Tax Cuts Permanent: In the Works
Read this and remember how bad it was when Obama took over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The sound of jaws hitting the floor reverberated in Washington this afternoon when Republican presidential nominee John McCain announced that he would suspend his campaign and asked that Friday's debate be postponed. Why? Because of the "historic crisis in our financial system," said McCain, who intends to return to Washington tomorrow to participate in Wall Street bailout negotiations on the Hill.
NOW ... are we in that bad of shape now and HOW was Obama able to keep us from going over the Republican created Cliff ...............
Gotta love the Marist polls this morning
In Marist Polluses Dems 40% Republicans 29% In 2004 Republicans 40% Democrats 35% Ohio 2008 Democrats 39 Republicans 32. Ohio 2010 Democrats 36, Republicans 37.
The basis used by the news media polls for partisan mix is basically 2008. This is not 2008, repbulicans are way up in participation from 2008, and democrats are actually down in participation.
Then I heard that some are saying they are using party registration to determine the mix of votes, they are actually ignoring what likely voter really means.
Marist mixes for the last several Ohio polls.
9-11 Dem 38% Rep 28% Ind 32% Obama +7
10-1 Dem 36% Rep 31% Ind 32% Obama +8
10-9 Dem 40% Rep 29% Ind 30% Obama +6
11-2 Dem 40% Rep 29% ind 31% Obama +6
Gallup, which follows the actual partisan trends of activity projects Ohio to be
Dem 36% Rep 37%. Gallup's track record is to favor democrats by 1 point. That works out to polling companies favoring obama by 12 points.
I put it this way in 2004 the Proclaimed President Kerry was winning Ohio by 6 points and lost by 2.1 points.
Tuesday is going to be really interesting.
Yeah what ever... Here's an excerpt to remind voters before they go to the polls -- Be on the right side of history, and reject Mitt Romney and the Republican Party all the way down the ballot:
To the rightwing and Flat Earth Society -- Once again you are on the wrong side of history. Sandy will reinsert climate change, science, innovation, and the importance of government into our politics.
So, Mr. Romney is twisting words again. No surprise.
Let's see if he can twist this ...
Here is one quote from Billy Graham about what he thinks about cults like Mormonism:

Interesting poll out from the AP this week asked people what Religion Obama is.
35% Don't Know
28% Protestant
18% Muslim
10% some other religion
5% Catholic
Here's an update on Gallup’s thinking when we suspended our national daily tracking of the presidential election campaign as of Monday, Oct. 29. Basically, we reached the conclusion that Superstorm Sandy had compromised the ability of a national survey to provide a nationally representative assessment of the nation’s voting population.

Something that Romney will remember forever ...
It's very difficult to lie in the face of a storm!
If either of these losers think that they are going to get my vote, they best think again.
Not that it matters. If we are a member of a minority, live in a red or blue state, our vote is only slightly contested.
Your vote is only important if you are an independent and live in a swing state.
Still, I will get satisfaction in voting against both of them! Ah, it already feels good. :)
We will give up our first-born children if these two parties agree that they will never, Ever, put us through the torture of these interminable, senseless, idiotic, destructive, extremely expensive political commercials again. You have brought us to our knees begging for mercy. Just let it be OVER WITH!
Scenario: One year ago, a divided America voices its opinion and gives the President a 40% approval rating and a 53% strongly disapprove. Congress gets a 10% approval rating. And most really don't believe that anything will be any different with Romney in charge.
One year later, a still divided America, the sheep fall in line and it is 50/50. Apparently, moral high ground is subject to the willingness to change from the status quo out of fear of the unknown or the pain it might cause to get our books in order.
Gary Johnson 2012
john: who is Gary Johnson? Is he that janitor at our local elementary school in Pembrooke, Ohio?
I don't know. Who is John Galt?

Here he is:

Mozzie 600 I could not agree more.I am sooooo tired of the commercials, the phone calls, the paper ads,etc..by this time in the campaign they are torture to watch.I have already made my mind up,I do not know how to tell ad execs how friggen senseless it is this late in the game to try to change people's minds.Horrible waste of money and my time.
Mitt Romney talks about working together. Obama, on the other hand, told attendees at a campaign rally in Springfield, Ohio on Friday that “voting is the best revenge”. Since when is leadership of the country about REVENGE? What a hate-filled, angry president!
Watch Mitt Romney. See what he's actually saying. Don't let the malicious Democratic propaganda machine control your mind. Watch the unfiltered Mitt Romney and do your own thinking. You won't find a more decent American leader than Mitt Romney!
This is what is going on TODAY- sure glad Obama is worried about Big Bird and buying that twit Fluke her birth control.
Israel complained to U.N. peacekeepers present in the area, a relatively low-key response that suggested it did not see the Syrian armor as an immediate threat. But the entry marks the most serious spillover of Syria's turmoil to date at the frontier, where stray ordnance has exploded on the Israeli side in the past.
Neighboring countries are dealing with a variety of incidents linked to the conflict — Turkey exchanged artillery fire with Syria for a week last month, while Jordan has seen several shootings at the border and clashes linked to the uprising against President Bashar Assad have broken out in Lebanon.
Some in Israel worry that that if Assad goes, the country could fall into the hands of Islamic extremists or descend into sectarian warfare that would destabilizing the region. Islamic fighters — some from abroad — are increasingly taking part in key engagements alongside the rebels.
Inside Syria on Saturday Syrian rebels launched a dawn assault on a strategic airbase in the north of the country, trying to disrupt strikes by warplanes and helicopters that pound rebel-held towns and give the regime of President Bashar Assad a major edge in the civil war.
Anti-regime activist group The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the attack on the Taftanaz air base continued into the evening, although Syria's state-run SANA news agency said the fighting was over and government troops had repelled a "terrorist attack." The government considers the rebels terrorists and pawns in a foreign plot to destroy the country.
Fighters from Jabhat al-Nusra, an al-Qaida-inspired Islamic militant group made up of foreign jihadis, had joined in the assault, said the Observatory, which relies on reports from activists on the ground. Al-Nusra fighters, who are considered among the most experienced and disciplined among the forces fighting to topple Assad, have led attacks on other airbases in the north in recent months.
I read the President's economic plan for the next four years. The Plan is devoid of detail to include budget. It appears to be primarily a wish list. It seems that the President wants the federal government to spend a lot of money that it does not have to train math and science teacher's to teach vocational classes at the JC level for jobs that do not really exist in this country. Foreign manufacturers are paying their workers roughly a tenth of the minimum that our workers require and that is why they can always beat domestic manufactures on price. Neither candidate seems to have a solution for this problem. It is our huge trade deficit that is degrading efforts to revive the economy by injecting more money.
In many states, state colleges and universities are having to raise tuition to make ends meet because of tighter state budgets. The President wants to withdrew federal funding from these schools so that they either have to raise tuition even more or close down facilities. The President thinks that this effort will help improve the quality of education in America.
The President is expecting to pass his increased taxes on the "Rich". He has been trying to do that for the past four years but he somehow thinks the can prevail in the next 4 years. This tax will at best take 100 billion dollars per year from the private sector and put it into the public sector. The President promised that the 2012 federal deficit would not exceed 229.27 billion dollars yet the actual deficit exceeded 1.1 trillion dollars so his efforts to date to cut the deficit have been less than successful. He is proposing more spending and unspecified cuts and which has been provided it is impossible that any actually deficit reduction will take place. So I am looking at a nominal annual deficit of 1 trillion dollars assuming the increased taxes on the "rich" passes.
At the heart of the President's plan is the idea of bringing the troops home in 2014 and with the savings use half of it to start paying down our debt and use the other half for infrastructure improvements. To start paying down the debt the federal government has to run a surplus. To run a surplus with half of the piece dividend, the federal government will have to realize a savings of more than 2 trillion dollars per year from bringing the troops home. That amount is more than twice a s much as we are paying for defense including all overseas operations. The President's plan is mathematically impossible. Mathematically impossible plans are at the least less than viable. The President's plan is an example of fantasy economics.
My biggest concern is all the debt that our federal government has been accumulating. With a debt or more than 16 trillion dollars and huge deficits predicted for at least another decade, I estimate that the money that the federal government is borrowing today will end up costing the tax payers more than 10 times the amount borrowed to repay over the next 180 years. Paying 10 times the going rate for goods and services is not good management. The President has yet to present a detailed plan for repaying the debt. The tax payers have a right to know how much all of this federal borrowing to going to end up costing them.
I'm still waiting for at least ONE person from the Republican Party to say the single word we have not heard since President Bush/Cheney left the White House and plunged our country into the pit of economic despair.
That one word is "SORRY."
Senator Inhofe of Oklahoma....
“President Obama is refusing to comply with the law that requires him to publish forthcoming regulations because he doesn’t want the American public to know the terrible cost of the regulatory barrage he plans to unleash in a second term.”
“So instead of being honest with the American people about what’s in store if he wins, he’s been trying to hide the fact that he intends to move forward with a slew of rules that will destroy hundreds of thousands of jobs and dramatically raise the cost of energy on American families.”
This is the person the left wants to re-elect.... a man that IGNORES the FEDERAL LAW..... at best, he's afraid of the facts...... at worst, he knows the contents & understands the devastation the new rules would have on our country.....
Either way, Mr Obama is VIOLATING FEDERAL LAW..... his oath of office DEMANDS he uphold the Constitution.... while all Barry does is thumb his nose at the responsibility........
Romney/Ryan Express.......... ALL ABOARD....... there's still time to SAVE the UNITED STATES...........
@ CantAffordNoMore,
Post 1.1
As if the President had anything to do with it or his supporters. That's a really good reason to elect someone that ran off to France during a war! You've got to be kidding me?
@ Steve-446003, post 1.105
And our choice is better? No regulation, didn't we just spend 8 years of the Bush no regulation administration?
DB @ 1.9,
It should be it does not matter: 100%.
To your earlier post you have no factual evidence that Republicans have built support since 2010. All you have is your own opinion. Historically Democrats do not usually get out and vote in the mid-terms but are more likely to vote in the four-year election. That is a historical fact and that is what happened in 2010. If Republicans retain or increase their polling numbers from 2010 it will be outside of historical norms.
Bell-Try this one: Romney's job at Bain Capital was creating wealth for investors. If jobs were created, it was an unintended bonus. His private sector experience was not focused on job creation and gives no indication of how he would create jobs if he were elected.
Well then you just proved that he was lying AGAIN. He's been going around patting himself on the back saying he's a "job creator". And touting his business experience as proof of it. Now you just refuted that lie.
If Mitt Romney has "created" jobs, where are the ads showing the smiling faces of all of those American employees thanking him? If he has not gamed the system by hiding his money and cooking the books, why has he not just gone ahead and released his tax forms like all the candidates do? If he has such a fool-proof plan to balance the budget by "closing loopholes and reducing exemptions", why can't we know what those loopholes and exemptions are? If Mitt Romney was such a successful governor, why is he losing by such a huge margin in the state he governed? If he can stand on his record, why does he produce ads that are such awful lies that automakers are forced to go public to refute them? If the Ryan plan is so perfect, why do Mitt Romney (and Paul Ryan) never mention it? If Russia is, "our greatest geopolitical threat", why did he send his son there this week to let Putin know it was all just "wink, wink"? As Mitt Romney has slithered away from every position he took during the primaries, why hasn't the right wing come out foaming at the mouth at his betrayal of, "conservative principles"? And if that is because they know that nearly everything he says is a lie, why is that not a problem to his supporters?
With Bail out number 3 in full swing, and the banks getting more Free money, Obama is thinkking his odds of winning might just pay off. After all Americans are to stupid to look up stuff on there own and buy the main stream media hook line and sinker !
Benghazi and Youtubegate, Obama at the UN stump talking about our Freedom of speech needs limits so we don't offend ??
Fast and Furious , Obama at the stump talking with Mexico's President, saying out 2nd amendment rights need to be taken...
Obama 2012 Cradle to the Grave ! Give me your Money , Give me your Freedoms !
Help him finish taking what he started, Help him Finish America !
To say nothing, sadly, of the thousands of trees that gave up their lives, that grew and grew and grew for years, through wind and snow and rain, just to be used for garbage. I get 5-10 political ads in the mail every day which go immediately into the recycle bin. Such a shame.
Just for kicks while killing time this weekend look up the song Mr. Scam man by Dan Roberts. You can find it on youtube and at http://Lybio.net It's hillarious!!!!!! This song should be heard nationwide!! It'll be a BIG hit with at least half the country!!!!
The word, "freedom" may have come to the end of its useful life. Apparently we no longer have a common understanding of what it means. I am no less, "free" under President Obama and neither is anyone I know. I personally feel a bit of liberty from the lack of, "religiosity" coming out of Washington over the last 4 years. But then again, I am much more interested leaders whose goals are to act with integrity and even honor than those who depend on that, "religiosity" as an empty fall-back position.

"Well, lets break it down...
Romney:
Wants to create jobs by giving tax breaks to the rich and pay those tax breaks by taxing the middle class
Obama:
Wants the Rich to pay their fair share of taxes like everybody else"
Well, let me give you the bottom line...If there's no rich then there's no jobs and no taxes...and if the rich paid their fair share then the US would be bankrupt.
The President said that he would bring the nation together. That did not work.
The President said that he could work with the opposition party by reaching across the isle. That did not work.
The President said that his administration would be free from lobbyists. That did not work.
The President said that his administration would be the most transparent ever. That did not work.
The President said that he would fix the economy within three years. That did not work.
The President said that his health care bill would lower health care costs. That did not work.
The President said that he would not raise taxes on 95% of Americans in any way. That did not work.
The President said that his stimulus spending bill would solve our employment problem. That did not work.
The President said that he would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term. That did not work.
I see a pattern here. The President said that if he could not fix the economy within three year that he did not deserve a second term.
Does it matter if Mitt says anything or not in his campaign that would change facts and events of that day ?
The person who is guilty of not keeping up on events is yourself and obama. At the time of the debate most people still didnt know what was going on. As for credible sources, would you prefer me to read from Left Wing Propaganda ? I dont care if its right or left, I hate both sides, but one thing you cant change are facts and hard evidence. I think Jay Sekulow laid out the time line just right. Dont forget we didnt send any one there to help them right away, if we did the CNN reporters would not have gotten their hands on sensitive material like the ambassadors diary.
New emails show that the White House knew Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists were responsible for the 9/11 attacks on our consulate in Libya within hours of the attack.
Reuters reports that the White House, including the Situation Room and the Executive Office of the President, and the State Department received information within two hours of the attack that a radical Islamic terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack on our consulate in Libya that ultimately resulted in the murder of our ambassador and three other Americans. Fox News reports that this Islamic terrorist group, “Ansar al-Sharia has been declared by the State Department to be an Al Qaeda-affiliated group.”
The series of three emails spanned between about a half hour after the attack began and a little over two hours after it began. CBS News reports:
At 4:05 p.m. Eastern time, on September 11, an alert from the State Department Operations Center was issued to a number government and intelligence agencies. Included were the White House Situation Room, the office of the Director of National Intelligence, and the FBI.
"US Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack" -- "approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well. Ambassador Stevens, who is currently in Benghazi, and four COM (Chief of Mission/embassy) personnel are in the compound safe haven."
At 4:54 p.m., less than an hour later, another alert: "the firing... in Benghazi...has stopped...A response team is on site attempting to locate COM (embassy) personnel."
Then, at 6:07 p.m., State sent out another alert saying the embassy in Tripoli reported the Islamic military group "Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack"... "on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli."
The bottom line is that the White House knew within two hours that Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group Ansar al-Sharia publicly claimed responsibility for the attack. Yet, it continued for days to claim the attack was the result of spontaneous protests over an Internet video.
Wow - tune in on Tuesday for Romney's acceptance of defeat speech, Old Tommy Thompson will be asleep in his seat (not the Senate Seat), & Obama calls Putin to "let my Women go" phone call.
Hey, Nelson....Mitt is the real bully...to the middle class. O'Bama - our Irish American president - is our best friend.
Bobs, just read your post on another thread, get an original though, may help your credibility. I guess Ryan smells his own rotten rat slithering back into the Fox sink-hole.
Sisters if you haven't already voted, vote straight Democratic because your health and economic lives are at stake.
Obama 2012
Absolutely RIGHT Sky!
Dump the party of NO and LIES!
The difference between Romney & Obama is that Romney and the Super Pac are trying to steal the election by purging votes, voter ID, shortening early voting times & days, closing polls early as well closing polls in some districts. Romney even bought one of the companies who make the voting machines(sounds like a conflict of interest, or something else you judge). The teaparty has enlisted close to a half a million people to be at polling places to discourage black, Hispanics, elderly, disabled from voting. They are trying to take away everyone who votes democratic. Where as Obama wants EVERYONE to get out and vote, do you see the Democrats trying to stop any Republican or Independents from voting?? Hell no and we would never.
Everyone has the right to vote, so get out and vote!
Vote straight Democrat. Get revenge against the party that doesn't love America.
Obama is a liar, a thief, and a socialist dictator!! He keeps spouting these lies that people can opt to have their own personal medical coverage if they want and that gov’t-run care will just be another choice for folks. First of all, we’re not as stupid as he thinks we are and we knew that private companies that need to make money would never be able to compete with a gov’t option that doesn’t need to make money, therefore the private companies would fold and we would all lose our private coverage, forcing us to use the public option. But now we find out that even in the bill itself (on page 16) it says that once the public option becomes available NO NEW MEDICAL POLICIES CAN BE WRITTEN!!! So if you want to switch to another private company, too bad. If you lose your job and your insurance you have no option after that but to use the gov’t-run healthcare because that’s the law!! Yeah, can you believe that?? He is probably the biggest liar we’ve ever had in office, which is saying something considering Bill Clinton was president. And our media won’t give us these facts because they are not true, honest journalists. We have GOT TO STOP THIS SOCIALIST HEALTHCARE!!!!!!
Vote for Romney if you want prosperous war-time business, booming war-time economy with the bill put on the credit card, and lots of jobs if you want to fight boots-on-the-ground in the Middle East. We should be able to generate untold fortunes for Romney's buddies that way (and we can tell everyone that we are liberating people).
Obama the great divider
Out of curiosity; How much does United Health Care pay their trolls these days?
Everyone needs to read this, especially independents, women who still do not know who to vote for, this what the Romney if elected will end up doing .

GOD HELP US ALL!
All young people need to WTFU and realize what you are going to be paying for the REST of your lives. Vote with your head and not your hand out. We don't have a revenue problem, we have a SPENDING problem and Obama has accelerated it to unbelievable levels with no end in sight. He spends and then blames Bush. Look at what the Democrats have done to Calif, for cryin' out loud, it's a cesspool, along with Chicago and Detroit.
Vote for Romney because a man who doesn't take a stand on anything by arguing all sides of all issues can't possibly be wrong.
per The Nation Magazine re: Mitt makes huge money on the auto bailout! Show us your tax return Myth!
http://www.thenation.com/article/170644/mitt-romneys-bailout-bonanza
"Mitt Romney's opposition to the auto bailout has haunted him on the campaign trail, especially in Rust Belt states like Ohio. There, in September, the Obama campaign launched television ads blasting Romney's November 2008 New York Times op-ed, "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt." But Romney has done a good job of concealing, until now, the fact that he and his wife, Ann, personally gained at least $15.3 million from the bailout—and a few of Romney's most important Wall Street donors made more than $4 billion. Their gains, and the Romneys', were astronomical—more than 3,000 percent on their investment."
The tax return whining is so lame. Romney obviously would be worth 10 times what he is now if he had stayed at Bain Capital. He sacrificed huge money to help you and all you want is to see his tax return? Grow up.
How did Romney ever help anyone but himself? I really want to know.
Mitt vetted his choice of VP with 5 times the amount of tax returns he released to the public who he claims he wants to work for.
Mitt wants us all to believe what a good businessman he was only he hides his tax returns which would be the only proof that he is not lying. And then he hides those.
Meanwhile Romney tells a whopper of lie about Jeep moving entire production to China.
You trust Romney why?
you are a idiot, he did not sacrifice any money contributions did, he is no different from the rest, he should show his tax returns the same way all the others did. I think you are the one that needs to grow up, Romney is hiding something and you know it, that is why he strongly refuses to show his returns, but he required Paul Ryan to show his for 10 yrs, does that tell you anything!!
John, Romney is still a stake holder in Bain and he still makes big $$ from Bain's activity, true, google it.
Obama 2012
Parrot
Nathan Vardi’s Forbes magazine article, “Mitt Romney: The Most Expensive Political Career in American History” makes the observation that, “lots of people pay a high price for getting into politics, but no one has likely given up more, at least financially, than Mitt Romney.”
Forbes has estimated that Romney would be worth approximately $2 billion had he remained at Bain Capital instead of running for office. As it was, Romney made the decision to leave Bain, a thriving private-equity firm, in 1999 in order to rescue the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. He subsequently went on to pursue the political career that eventually led to the GOP presidential nomination.

Check and Mate
One word - Sensata. Look it up, John. Moving to China! (owned by Bain)
I didn't say he remained, but is still a stake holder and he still receives $$ from Bain.
Rooked!
Obama 2012
Put your foot in your mouth and settle in for our next president Romney/Ryan 2012.
Jobs have left because our tax code has made it more profitable to make goods overseas. This is hardly news. Fix the tax code and jobs will stay here. Romney understands that. Obama has no clue where jobs came from or where they went.
Meanwhile Obama tells a huge whopper about the Benghazi murders resulting from some spontaneous protest.
You trust Obama with National security why?
Al Qaeda is alive. Chris Stevens is dead.
tricky Mitt is interested in big oil and gasoline. Yes there needs to be more energy development including, gas, oil, sun, water and wind, but to do this irresponsively is just what the Republican Party wants-without regulation. They jeer at climate change, think it's a laugh. I don't think so. the sea level is rising due to the climate changes. What happened in New York this past week cannot be reversed, but we have to start now to protect the world we live in, our planet Earth. This is not a movie. tricky Mitt wants to turn back emmissions regulation, and drill and frac for oil and gas without regulation. Is it worth it? Are our children worth it? If you believe in a future for our children and their children, our pets, our wildlife you must VOTE for OBAMA on Tuesday
Shelly you obviously haven't had an original thought in 20 or 30 years. You should vote for Obama.
Solar and wind power is getting more efficient. It IS the way of the future. Get used to it. The only question is whether we, as a country, will lead the world in innovation and infrastructure improvement, or if we will allow ourselves to be held back by fossil fuel interests.
@Dock-Holliday, well said. Brilliant comparisons. Romney is stealing all the buzz words like "Big Change", "Real Change", Movement", "Revenge", et al., from the liberals. Moderate Mitt, indeed, as enunciated by President Clinton. I've created a one-liner definition of "Big Change" as follows:
"Big Change" = "Romnesia" + "Voodoo Economics" = "Romnevenomics" = "Big Re-Run"
Watch out the satire "Venom" embedded in the metaphor "Romnebvenomics" -- an advanced forum of trickledown economy and flexing military muscle thru intimidation as pursued by Bush/Cheney duopoly.
Go Ohioans -- beat "Romnevenomics" and pyracy to U.S. Auto workers -- Vote to Re-elect Obama 2012
Solar is a money loser and nowhere near financially feasible. The government should get out of the way and quit picking winners and mostly losers, letting wind and solar rising or falling based on financial feasibility not political whims. No government subsidies for anybody, including wind, solar, electric cars, oil or anyone else. Everybody get out of my pockets and life.
Nothing new- just alot of lies and propaganda on these posts.
I do want to set some things strait.
1. people do not hide money in the Caymans or Bermuda and yes they do pay taxes as all is reported to the IRS through the international banking exchange. smart people hold their assets in offshore accounts to protect it from the corrupt and inefficient US banking system and Frank/Dodd makes it worse.
2. Romney is only for the rich is the biggest lie I have seen on these posts and his plan is to provide relieve to the middle class paying no capital gains for single under $200,000 and under 250,000 for couples. this means the middle class grow their investments,IRA, and 401k and an alarming rate. all of you can see the tax comparisons at bankrate.com
I think many of you need to stay away from the lies of NBC and take your blinders off and really see whats going on and here is a challenge to help all of you.
Tell me the personal relationships between Obama,Bill Ayers,Goerge Soros, and the agenda.
Second tell me how and where did Mitt and Ann lived when Romney was attending Harvard.
Yes and you know these wil lbe the headlines the day after he loses the election :"Romney pays no taxes on earnings from Bain Capital Management"..any bets all??That will be the real reason he has'nt wanted to have anyone see his taxes. He also tithes and pretends that tithing is a capital loss..which its not.John you and your party have;nt had an original thought in 50 years. You are the same old same old and will never change..
I suppose you Obama supporters believe he's just a working stiff average Joe. The truth is he's rolling in dough and won't ever spend a day hungry or wanting for anything. He could care less about the real working stiffs in America and if this country is unfortunate and he's is reelected he won't waste a minute showing the idiots that voted for him just how little they mean to him.!!!!
Movement..is it a little late to change your tune..O forgot..it is willard milhous!

The big difference between obama & Romney is very clear if you just look at the facts. What is Romney about ? jobs, lower taxes, less regulation, smaller government, more power to the people and cities, states, and more choice about your own destiny, help to get on your own two feet if you need it. Where as obama wants bigger government, higher taxes, more regulation, more power to the government less power to the people, and free stuff to brainwash you so you depend more on government.
Precisely when and where has Romney ever said anything about "help to get on your own two feet if you need it"?
I do recall him advising people to borrow $20,000 from their parents though......I guess that's what you're referring to......
Well, don't forget that Mr. Romney did have that
CampaignRelief Event where his supportershanded him the canned goods he boughtbrought him suppliesthat the Red Cross didn't wantto give to victims of Sandy.Eagle -
Romney is all about making money for himself. Period!
Read #6 - the whole article about Romoney's blind trust that they knew full and well what holdings they had!
@11EAGLES,
How can you be so sure? Romney changes his position frequently on issues that are important to me. To him, I'm probably less than a 47%'er because I'm female. Oh, and a single mother too!
Suz, If Romney is all about making money why did he sell his gold mine, Bain Capital 20 years ago?
Because he is still invested in Bain and still makes money without doing anything.
Romney still a stake-holder in Bain, true google it. He still makes big $$ off of Bain's activity and he is making money off of the closing of the plant in Freeport. He didn't deny it, corporations are people my friend.
Obama 2012
Well here is something else to consider. They did a poll here in Canada with small businesses and 60% of them want nothing to do with Romney and the general public and government feels the same way. And we are concerned because whatever happens in the US has an affect on us. I have listened to this guy for 2 years now and I have watched the debates and listened carefully (a bunch of us watched the last debate and were killing ourselves laughing at Romney's lies and stupidity) and I dont understand how anyone giving this serious consideration can possibly think that this guy if elected could be the Commander and Chief of an entire Country and possibly lead your Country into a war much less deal with the economics. You guys will be the laughing stock of the World but you dont seem to care. All you want is Obama out and a change for the future with Romney. Well you will get that change but I am not sure that any one of you voting for Romney have a clue what that change is going to look like. He is George Bush in disguise and I am not sure about you but we here have seen enough senseless wars started under Bush - we really dont want any more. I shudder to think what trade will be like with Canada under a Romney government and you guys should wonder too. People arent thinking deeply about their decisions - it is Obama hasnt done anything in 4 years (after 8 years of Bush) and we want him out so we are voting for Romney. How very shallow. And the sad part is that we are dragged down by your economy when it hits bottom under Romney. For Gods sake think people - Romney doesnt have a playform he has run on cause he changes it every other day. He literally doesnt know what to do as President and you could see him sidestep the Foreign Policy part of the debate over and over cause he doesnt understand it. All he knows is how to do is make millions for himself - not you people - himself and his sons. Think about a 42 year old man being given 10 million dollars to start up his own business or do whatever he wants to do. Wouldnt it be nice if we all had fathers like that - that kid too (not one served in the armed forces) hasnt come close to knowing how the middle class live. Oh well I have ranted enough. I guess there is not cure for *stupidity*.
A DOZEN LIES REPUBLICANS SUBSCRIBE TO
America is tired of the Republican Party, its lies, and its delusions. Republicans subscribe to fictions instead of reality. Republican Party supporters are largely anti-intellectual and emotionally predisposed to accepting factually incorrect, unsubstantiated or even easily contradicted propaganda as truth. Republican ideologues appeal to their imbecilic base by fomenting their fears, their deep-seated racism and/or sexism, and their dogmatic religiosity to wage culture wars that were lost on the streets and in the hearts of Americans 40-50 years ago, by continuing to beat the drum for unchecked capitalism whose "job creators" have shipped jobs overseas to exploit cheaper labor for greater profits and, through risky investment schemes unleashed by deregulation, which have imperiled the health of the world's economies for the last four years.
Republican sheeple have been led to believe at least a dozen lies/fictions:
(1) governance by a representative democracy is itself a profound invasion of some nebulous concept of freedom or liberty, using rhetorically charged jingoes like "let's take our government back." For example, Ron Paul's argument that federal legislation is invalid unless authorized by the 10th Amendment was completely wrong. The 10th Amendment (states right's argument) doesn't enable federal legislation but rather limits it, but in practice, only in rare instances. The 10th Amendment has invalidated only two federal laws in over 70 years, and only when the law inflicted horrible burdens on the states. It was such a silly constitutional argument that it was not offered or considered by the Supreme Court when it recently upheld the Affordable Care Act;
(2) the federal government is their enemy, that its workers are quasi-welfare cheats, and that employee unions are grotesque thieves of taxes paid by hard-working Americans, which is all part of a widespread campaign to reduce the federal budget because the federal income tax is a progressive system that taxes according to income earned, and the wealthy pay the lion's share of it now, which must be changed if we're going to have prosperity for all.
So Republicans argue the taxes should be cut, especially taxes for “job creators,” which will create widespread prosperity for everyone. This newer version of "trickle down" has proven in practice to be pure BS:
"Trickle down economics, often identified with supply side economics, represents the idea that tax cuts or other government sponsored interventions into the economy to help businesses and the wealthy will benefit poorer members of society by improving the economy as a whole.
. . .
"[However,] [h]istorical evidence demonstrates the United States has had some of its strongest periods of economic growth while taxes were high. [Indeed,] some of our most robust periods of growth in gross domestic product (GDP) actually occurred while taxes were very high.
. . . .
"If trickle down economics worked we should observe growing real median income for the population as a whole. Despite huge tax cuts the desired trickle down outcome did not come to fruition for the majority of Americans.
. . . .
"[T]he share of market income for every [income] quintile, except the highest quintile, declined 1979 to 2007. . . . If trickle down effects worked as proclaimed then the share of market income should be greater for each quintile in 2007 when compared to 1979, the years prior to the implementation of the Reagan and Bush era tax cuts.
“It would appear to be an excellent balance for a robust capitalist system with one that desires certain levels of economic justice, rewarding job creators for their risk-taking and providing shared, albeit smaller but fairer, returns to the masses who help the job creators become successful. Unfortunately, the evidence doesn't support trickle down, supply side economics.
. . . .
"The Bush economic expansion had the worst wage and salary growth and total compensation growth of any postwar economic expansion. Workers also fared progressively worse the lower they were in the income distribution.
"Do Tax Cuts and Trickle Down Economics Work for America?" Posted on October 28, 2011 by Michael Morrison.
.
Indeed, "trickle down" has empirically been shown actually to be "trickle up”: between 1979 and 2007, the annual income of "t]he top 1% of income earners saw their after-tax income shoot up a whopping 275% . . . , and in the process more than doubled their share of all income, jumping from 8% to 17%, according to a new report from the Congressional Budget Office." at the same time worker wages have remained flat or have been declining after taking into account the higher contributions by workers to worker benefits like health care and retirement. "Today the top 1 percent of Americans control 43 percent of the financial wealth . . . while the bottom 80 percent control only 7 percent of the wealth. Incredibly, the wealthiest 400 Americans have the same combined wealth as the poorest half of Americans -- over 150 million people.”
Indeed, "trickle down" has empirically been shown actually to be "trickle up: "The top 20% now take home 85% of every dollar earned,
"Republicans (still) favor tax cuts for the wealthy and the corporations, (even though) these had no stimulative effect during the George W. Bush administration and there is no reason to believe that more of them will have any today."
.
In fact, despite receiving tax cuts and despite the fact that they have been making trillions during the 3 ½ years of Obama's presidency, corporations and wealthy business owners decided no longer to invest in America but rather to set up factories and service centers abroad, where cheaper labor brings higher profits. "With no control over where the wealthy and corporations deploy their capital, the money we borrowed to support tax cuts largely favoring the wealthy has supported job creation and business growth abroad while our job creation has lagged at home."
.
In summary, trickle down has always been a Republican con job, a prescription for transferring wealth from the middle class to the party's wealthy donors, as has been repeatedly demonstrated by statistics showing increasing income inequality in this country and the creation of jobs in Third World countries by our “job creators;”
(3) that 47% (or 48% or 49%) of Americans pay no taxes at all, lazy people who would rather live off the sweat of productive taxpayers rather than work or seek work despite the fact that 91% of all federal entitlement benefits are paid to elderly retirees, the disabled, and to children whose parents make less than what is defined as the current poverty level, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities:
"Using the 2010 federal budget and U.S. Census data , the [Center on Budget and Policy Priorities] finds that 53 percent of all government entitlement benefits are going to people who are over 65 years old. Another 20 percent of the benefits went to disabled people, while 18 percent were going to people in a working household. The data was for the government's 2010 fiscal year. That means that 9 percent of entitlements went to people who were not elderly, disabled or living in a household in which someone had worked at least 1,000 hours in a year.
"The analysis included Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, unemployment insurance, SNAP (otherwise known as food stamps), Social Security Insurance, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, the school lunch program, the Children’s Health Insurance Program, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and the refundable component of the Child Tax Credit.
"Taken together, that accounts for $1.8 trillion of the approximately $2.1 trillion in benefit costs the government paid out in the 2010 fiscal year, according to the researchers. The report said most of the remaining money went to federal and veteran retirement benefits, which it excluded from its calculation.
In addition, the report included about $130 billion in state funding for benefits such as Medicaid."
The March 23, 2012 article is "Who's using government benefits: Mostly, the elderly" by Allison Linn of NBC News.
And, of course, the 47% who don't pay federal income taxes do pay payroll taxes, state taxes, property taxes, excise taxes, gasoline taxes, and sales taxes. The dogmatically uninformed who insist on the myth that virtually half the country is made up of "lazy, self-entitled Freddie Freeloaders" are actually unwittingly inveighing against their parents and grandparents, those too disabled to work, and against children in working families whose income is below the poverty line. Republicans are great at demonizing some Americans (recall that they used to demonize a fictional Black woman who had one baby after another to accumulate welfare benefits to buy a pink Cadillac, but racism is so passé now) and provoking divisiveness for political gain, as they do by saying, as to the 47% argument, Romney “may have been inelegant, but what he was saying was true.” What these Republicans believe is a disgraceful affront to the people of America and a disdainful departure from reality;
(4) unemployment is largely the result of increased federal governmental regulation and could be solved, at least in part, by deregulation. For example, on August 29, 2011, “the House majority leader, Eric Cantor of Virginia, sent a memorandum to members of the House Republican Conference, telling them to make the repeal of job-destroying regulations the key point in the Republican jobs agenda. “By pursuing a steady repeal of job-destroying regulations, we can life the cloud of uncertainty handing over small and large employers alike, empowering them to hire more workers, “ Mr. Cantor said. “Economix,” October 4, 2011, 6:00 a.m.
In fact, “the number of layoffs nationwide caused by government regulation is miniscule and shows no evidence of getting worse during the Obama administration. Lack of demand for business product and services is vastly more important.” Ibid. “While concerns about regulation have risen during the Obama administration, they are about the same now as they were during Ronald Reagan’s administration, according to an analysis of the federation’s data by the Economic Policy Institute.” Ibid. According to Bruce Bartlett, an economic adviser to Ronald Reagan and Bush I, “regularity uncertainty is a canard invented by Republicans that allows them to use current economic problems to pursue an agenda supported by the business community year in and year out. In other words, it is a simple case of political opportunism, not a serious effort to deal with high unemployment.” Ibid. The combination of deregulation and privatization of governmental functions is part of the Republican adoption of the economic beliefs of Milton Friedman, whose neoliberalism or “laissez faire capitalism” under the rubric of “austerity programs” has led to the same kind of massive transfer of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy we are experiencing now that already crippled the middle class in Pinochet’s Chile, in post-Glasnost Russia, and in Lech Walesa’s Poland.
(5) Obamacare contains provisions for "death panels" to pull the plug on grannie's medical care, but, when asked for textual proof contained in the ACA, Republicans say it's impossible to find because the bill is about 2000 pages long even though if such provisions existed they could be easily found by using "death panel" as the search phrase;
(6) Obamacare is a manifestation of Communism, Marxism, Leninism, or Socialism. Most neo-cons haven’t the foggiest notion what these economic systems stand for or how they differ from each another; they just “know” that these systems are "bad." Moreover, such arguments completely ignore the fact that, apart from economic labels, the other 24 top industrial nations in the world have some form of single-payer/government-run healthcare (we're the only ones without single payer healthcare. The US is the only country in which the corporate influence of Big Insurance and Big Pharma is more powerful than the 55%-80% of the American public in a variety of polls who wanted a public option to create price competition for private insurance carriers but were given instead a public mandate, which guarantees that Big Insurance and Big Pharma will receive billions in more revenues by forcing young, healthy Americans, who might otherwise be disinclined to purchase health insurance, to pay up.
(7) Obama is a Muslim--after all, he has "Hussein" as a middle name, even though he has attended Christian churches throughout his adult life in Chicago, one of which Obama has been alternatively pilloried because the right doesn't like some of the preachments of its pastor, Jeremiah Wright;
(8) Obama was born in Kenya or Indonesia even after he was the first President hounded to produce proof of his being a native-born American, which he disclosed by producing a copy his birth certificate, a certificate that to any rational mind should put to rest any claims to the contrary but nonetheless doesn't;
(9) global warming is an anti-capitalist conspiracy by scientists even though the vast majority of climate scientists not paid by Big Oil say otherwise, a virtual consensus that it is a threat to inundate coastal land throughout the world and needs to be reversed yesterday to blunt its threats, at a time when climate researchers are saying we're reaching a tipping point: "Earth is rapidly headed toward a catastrophic breakdown if humans don't get their act together, according to an international group of scientists. Writing Wednesday (June 6) in the journal Nature, the researchers warn that the world is headed toward a tipping point marked by extinctions and unpredictable changes on a scale not seen since the glaciers retreated 12,000 years ago. "There is a very high possibility that by the end of the century, the Earth is going to be a very different place," study researcher Anthony Barnosky told LiveScience. Barnosky, a professor of integrative biology from the University of California, Berkeley, joined a group of 17 other scientists to warn that this new planet might not be a pleasant place to live. "You can envision these state changes as a fast period of adjustment where we get pushed through the eye of the needle," Barnosky said. "As we're going through the eye of the needle, that's when we see political strife, economic strife, war and famine. . . ;"
(10) federal taxes are more burdensome than ever even though federal tax rates are at their lowest in the last approximately 60 years: "Most Americans today pay less in federal income taxes than they have in 60 years, and far less than they have during other wars. . . .This is particularly true for the wealthy: By 2007, the richest 400 Americans paid an average of 16.6% in income taxes, thanks to exemptions and low capital-gains taxes, far less than the same group had paid decades ago and well below the 26.4% that group had been taxed only 15 years earlier. Add the hit of economic turmoil, and in the past two years the federal government has collected less of the nation's income than at any time since 1950: 14.9% of gross domestic product in taxes, compared with a post-World War II average of about 18%. One percentage point today equates to about $140 billion. "Overall, taxes are very low right now," said Chuck Marr, the director of federal tax policy at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a nonpartisan Washington, D.C., research group. In addition, "you have this tremendous shift (of wealth) in the United States to high-income people;"
(11) America can solve high gas prices by drilling for oil everywhere in the United States, that following a policy labeled "Drill, baby, drill"will lower the price of gasoline in the United States. In fact, AP published a statistical analysis of 36 years of monthly, inflation-adjusted gasoline prices and U.S. domestic oil production. . . ," and concluded that: "No statistical correlation between how much oil comes out of U.S. wells and the price at the pump." 20 oil experts agreed that the findings of the survey were correct. Fact Check: More US drilling didn't drop gas price, © 2012 The Associated Press, based on information from U.S. Energy Information Administration. “Drill, baby, drill" has always been little more than a battle cry by Republicans to curry favor with Big Oil;
(12) Obama and Congress are invading the precincts of the Catholic Church by requiring Catholic hospitals, like all other businesses with a minimum number of workers, to offer contraceptives as part of workers' health plans. Jesus himself reportedly said, "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's." Matthew 22:21. The Catholic Church isn't the final arbiter as to where the domain of religion ends and the secular world begins. In fact, the Catholic Bishops (not the Church as a whole) are seeking to invade the secular world by trying to extend the reach of the Church’s religious dogma to dictate the health options available to female workers who are either not Catholic or are Catholics who practice birth control, those who serve patients of all religious stripes in a setting that is medical and not ecclesiastic simply because the hospital bears the name of a Catholic saint. The Republican Party wouldn’t dare attempt to characterize divorce, which is antithetical to Catholic teaching and is authorized in all 50 states, as a violation of Catholics’ religious freedom, yet have no compunctions in taking up the religious cudgel when assailing health options of female workers.
Republican ideologues have used disinformation, divisiveness, and false propaganda to seduce the fearful, the poorly educated, gun nuts, and religious fundamentalists into voting against their economic interests for years. But this time, they’ve gone way too far, and Romney will lose in the Electoral College even if the popular vote may be close. However, unless Tea Partiers and Republicans who pledged to Grover Norquist never to raise taxes are dispatched in favor of those disposed to responsible governance rather than obstructionism, the United States will continue to be mired legislative gridlock and a slowly recovering economy.

edede, everything you say is garbage and thankfully most of your post have been deleted. You're brainwashed and delusional and need to see a doctor. You might as well get used to it - Romney won't be our next president because most Americans have common sense. Oh, and that's what God wants too.
Did you believe all the lies republicans told about jobs, jobs, jobs that suddenly turned into over 50 bills for limiting a woman's rights in the house? In the states where republicans won it has turned into more than a 1000 bill across the country limiting women's rights and on top of that limiting your right to vote.
All from the republican party claiming to be for freedom. Limiting and suppressing the right to vote is what happens in a dictatorship country, not in America. That is until the republicans decided to attack our right to vote as a way for them to win elections.
As far as republicans caring about jobs, they couldn't even bring themselves to vote for jobs for our returning veterans and the republicans want more wars. Yep, that is Ryan's experience, voting to send our young men and women to war and then voting against jobs and care for our wounded when they get home.
You would have to be mighty dumb to think that voting for a republican would bring either freedom or jobs.
republicans are already crying! all conservative radio talk shows are bitter already! jeez...
Romney is still telling all the same lies he has been telling all along even after being called on them several times. Apparently some people are listening to the lies for the first time. He has now gone back to Obamacare -- telling Americans lies about Obama taking away benefits --- Please America DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE TAKING HIS WORD FOR THESE IMPORTANT POLICIES.
Again the Mormon
candidate Wrongney’s beliefs are revealed. His religion says women have no
place in leadership or in the workplace. People of color were not allowed into
their occult church until the 80s. Christians see Mormonism as a cult.
Mormonism is not Christianity.
Why would there be so many applications stashed into these binders and files in
his own company? It is because they
refused to hire women for many years.
Nit wit Mitt
Wrongney has been repeating the same lies saying he cares for the poor while on
camera. Off camera he says it is not his job to care for the poor. When the
cynical Wrongney was speaking his lies at the presidential debate, he said that
Obama did not say what the specifics were for who qualifies for refinancing
their home. We all should know including Nit Wit Mitt what it takes to qualify
for a mortgage loan. The agreement is worked out with the bank that is to
refinance the applicant. Wrongney is telling us that our deficit is increasing
because of Obama’s policies. When Obama
took office as president, the war was costing more than $20 billion a month.
One aircraft carrier uses one million gallons of fuel every five months. The
auto industry was set to lose nearly one million jobs. George Bush had a
bailout bill on the table as he was leaving office. Obama used that to save the
jobs of the nearly one million auto workers. They were and are paying it back.
If just one
oil and pharmaceutical company make between 20 and 40 billion dollars in
profits a year, they should pay more in taxes instead of getting a tax break.
There were so
many things that Nit Wit Mitt Wrongney proposed that Obama has been trying to
get the Republican run House of Reps to pass for nearly three years. In his
campaign speeches, he is saying the exact same things as Obama said when he
became president. Wrongney is stealing Obama’s material to use in his speeches.
Wrongney will lie and do anything because his money is his god. The Republicans
said they don’t want to work with Obama. The Republicans said they want him out
of office because he wants to help everyone in America. The republicans are mostly self-serving and
only want to fill their own pockets with tax payer dollars by steering the
money into their projects and special interests. Nit Wit Mitt Wrongney said
that the president’s policies failed but the Republicans never allowed anything
to get passed by voting NO on every single measure. Remember that everyone in
Washington was voted into their position there by American voters to do a job.
When the Republicans lied about the socialism that doesn’t exist, they were
voted in. Now the Republicans are causing major gridlock on every measure that
is put forth to make it appear that President Obama is a failure. The
Republicans were told in their campaign meetings to use fear to cause people to
distrust Obama. This was broadcast on the internet recently. Also the people
everywhere are cashing in on president Obama by using any kind of controversy
like the issues of Socialism, him being Islam, not an American born in America
and him being a communist. Everyone is making a windfall by projecting Obama as
any one of these.
President
Obama doesn’t speak to America as if he is speaking to ignorant and uninformed citizens.
Wrongney is talking to America as if they are completely uninformed and
ignorant about what the republicans have been doing to stop any kind of
progress in Washington. Wrongney has put forth his plan and it contains some of
the plans that Obama has already tried to get Washington to put through. Obama
has a job bill that would create some 45 million jobs over 10 years. But the
Republicans won’t vote yes to pass the bill. The republican governors say they
don’t want bailout and Federal funding while the cameras are rolling. But they
request and accept the money to the tune of more than 36 billion in the state
of Mississippi and Florida. Some things
Wrongney says he wants to do is something that is already in place at this
time. Wrongney still thinks everyone is completely stupid. That is how Wrongney
wants to treat Americans. His plan is to allow the individual states handle the
billions of government dollars. This will open the door to self-serving and
greedy politicians to do what they want with the money. The people waiting for
help from the state government will die on the hospital steps while they are
waiting. The sick will die in waiting rooms and at home because of the greed
and misappropriation of funds. It is happening right now in Florida and
Mississippi. Billions are in the hands of politicians that have personal
agendas while those who need it are waiting to get help. The governor of Florida was cited for $10
billion dollars in Medicare fraud while he ran some of the hospitals in
Florida. The Republicans and TEA partyers are going to destroy America as if a
Terrorist group has taken over. The republicans are doing the work of
terrorists right now in Washington by stopping every plan that Obama has on the
table. People need help right now but Wrongney says that he has a plan for the
distant future. Obama has a plan right now in front of the Republicans. When
the Healthcare reform bill was being discussed by the republicans and democrats
in the same room, the republicans had the bill in front of them on the table.
The republicans were saying; “We can’t read this bill” or “We don’t know what
is in this bill.” It was right on the table in front of each person on the Democrats
side and the Republican side. The Republicans were saying; “We want to be
included in this process.” They were sitting in the same room while the process
was happening. Yet they were creating video bites to be used later to fool
feeble-minded and unaware American citizens.
The democrats gave their input without any nonsense. The republicans
were just saying; “I am not going to read this bill. “ They just want to get the money into their
own pockets. Now Wrongney has been saying that he has a bill that will be a
better one. When they say that they haven’t read the first one, how will they
know that Wrongney’s bill is better?
Feeble minded
Americans were told that they were angry by Fox and CNN. They didn’t know what
they were angry about until they were told why.
The fake
polls began to pop up after one month of Obama being in the office of
president. The feeble minded people were told to go into the streets and say
they were angry. The media used steering tactics and fake polls. They were and
are spending and making millions of dollars on the feeble minded that were
duped by the media. The satanic Fox network had the biggest influence on the
feeble minded. I saw how it transpired and was not fooled. Fox was stirring up
the masses to rebel and riot in the streets. They paraded into Washington DC
with pictures of Obama hanging, swastikas and confederate flags waving.
Foxaholics began to buy guns because they were told to fight against fake
socialism in America. They were told that the FEDS were going to take their
guns. CNN joined the band wagon and
reaped millions of dollars. Mr. Murdoch’s media machine has been paying and
getting paid to spread UNLIMITED, MALICIOUS AND UNRESTRAINED LIES ABOUT THE
PRESIDENT.
This created a
windfall of billions for the people at Fox and CNN. People at Fox sold their
souls for money and began to lie effortlessly and very professionally. Some of
the Foxaholics were buying guns by the box loads and hiding them. Guns sales are still soaring because of these
steering tactics. Right now the word on feeble minded street level is that
there is going to be a civil war before the election. They are preparing for
this by digging bunkers and stocking up on thousands of rounds of ammunition.
Fox will be right in the middle orchestrating this civil war. How much more satanic
can it get than that? There are other nations that want America destroyed. Fox
and CNN are helping their cause.
Maybe Nit Wit
Mitt Wrongney needs to go in a plane to 39,000 feet and roll the window down.
The
Republicans want to privatize prisons and hospitals to keep government money
and to place rates however they want.
The votes
from 26 states are sent to Tampa, Florida to be counted. This is where the
Republicans headquarters are located. The company that owns the voting machines
is owned by Spain and has its financial offices in the Cayman Islands where
Wrongney keeps his business affairs finances.
We can only hope that Romney gets elected America might not be able to withstand another four years like the last four, our current President is determined to bring our country down!
Is Obama Racist, I sure don't like to think so,But I had to do a school report and found out that Mr. Obama went to a Racist Church for over 14 years, If not I thought why would he sit there week after week every Sunday listening to a Racist preacher for 14 years?
He sat in that church all those years and listened to all Rev Wright's disgusting blather because that's what he believes, that is what he values.
The very 1st LIE Romney will tell right after swearing in ...... if it happens, is "I didn't say I would take care of the 47%!!"
Well, even if he does it'll only be one, as opposed to the Obama administration who has LIED for FOUR YEARS to you.
Obama has been lying since 9-11 about Benghazi.
give it a break, is that all you have, Bush caused far more disasters overseas and lied about all of them.
Grow up.
If you are this worried about 4 people, you must be furious about the over 4000 that died in our republican lied to war in Iraq. Funny the republicans never talk about those lies.
The same ones who lied us into war in Iraq are the same ones who have been lying to you about Benghazi.
Really? Your hatred is so bad for President Obama you would follow Romney into a rerun of the bush recession and his cowboy diplomacy.
John-2032532 you are right!!!!
Obama is a Liar and a Muslim!
"muslims bad, me no likey people who are different,Im an idiotic bigot"
Why thank you for that valuable input blondracistchick_1981
you are welcome waren *rolling my eyes* #dontjumptosillyconclusions
blondesmartchick - you're not so smart cause if you were, YOU WOULD KNOW OBAMA'S NOT A MUSLIM! Where do you people get this crap?? Have half a brain!
The point is why dose it matter whether hes a Muslim or not it means nothing.
blondedumbchick .... do some research ... its easy .... oh, your blonde ... forget it ....
OBAMA 2012

Right, like a lot of Spanish only reading people will be on this web site
But you do have one thing right, your desperation. If there ever were a time for GOPers to panic, this is it.
Tienes razon edede.! Romney/Ryan!
What the hell are you two fakes speaking Spanish for? You know you abhor anyone who isn't white, English-speaking, and wealthy.
Yes take my rights away.
Take my voting rights away.
Take my rights to decide about my own body away.
Take my rights to know who is spending million and millions on right wing hate campaigns with citizens united.
Take away my right to health-care.
Take away my right to social security and medicare.
Then the republicans want you to believe they are the party of freedom?
Wasn't that Dylan. "Freedom is when you have nothing left to lose"
It seems that is the kind of freedom the republicans bring, the kind with nothing left to lose as they gave it all to the rich campaign contributors in tax cuts.
only vote for romney...
Obama ruined the work of many people. friends returned to their countries because of unemployment and debts from their homes. Obama will increase most taxes to work (taxes) If you have work. Obama already had his opportunity... but did nothing. Obama supports the Queers and to the oborto, which is killing innocent people
This is your chance for more chamba with less taxes. vote for romney. by race
What .... You really need some help. Please seek that help soon.
Obama's out back slapping with the FEMA Director New York's Mayor and all of them are talking about how "great" Obama has been.
Meanwhile FEMA hasn't even shown up in many places, including Staten Island, and people are literally dumpster diving looking for food.
Of course the "cutting of the regulations" by Obama goes AGAINST everything he and his administration have done for the four past years.
Don't you libs EVER wonder why regulations have to be SUSPENDED in order to get things done when it comes to the Federal Government and yet you continue to support a failure that wants MORE regulations?
In a word? No.
Precisely which regulations have any direct, or even indirect, relationship to the situation on Staten Island?
You wouldn't wood. Too busy licking Obama's shoes to EVER wonder why a "whole" 171,000 jobs in ONE MONTH is somehow a "success".
At this rate, we'll have those 23 MILLION unemployed Americans back to work in only about 16 YEARS, not counting of course the high school and college grads, and the over one million ILLEGALS given amnesty to steal jobs.
You bet wood....don't question anything, your Failure in Chief will take care of you.
Regulations have to do with EVERYTHING, including FEMA repub. And since FEMA STILL hasn't shown up in many locations, ESPECIALLY Staten Island, that's why I pointed them out. And you know what was "suspended" by Obama when it came to FEMA. Pretty well NOTHING. I heard the FEMA Director last night say they were "ready to start taking applications for relief".
Applications? Really? I'm sure everyone feels wonderful now.

http://www.overdriveonline.com/hours-rule-suspended-for-sandy-relief-effort/
Cheryl, there are not 23 MILLION unemployed Americans. That talking point is supposed to be worded differently to avoid the lie, but you missed it.
If republicans so care about jobs, tell me again why they just voted against jobs for our returning veterans?
Really there are people so dumb they fall for that crap con line the republicans give. Sure we voted against jobs, but it is the Presidents fault there are no jobs.
On Tuesday, this 4-year long nightmare comes to an end. The Obama's will move to Hawaii and sponge off some 1% libs and America can once again become the Land of the Free.
hate won't fix the country......and a lobotomy won't fix you......OBAMA 51% Romney 47%.....take it to the bank....(that's not the 47% Mitt was talking about)
Funny, very funny. With the GOP in charge you'll get forced ultrasounds and Big Brother will be monitoring the uterus of every woman in America. Land of the Free????
It might fix him. It might make him smarter.
What do you mean Obama is one of the 1% he is a millionare and he has his money in a tax defered trust fund Nancy Pelosi is no 10 wealthiest in congress at 101 million she's not going share her wealth either it well protected . she much rather spend the American taxpayers money raise there taxes. Why do you think these people have made themselves exempt from paying there fair share/ Just play the game blame and attack so our followes don't look to much at us/
Bill, your lies are tripping over themselves. It's Obama and Pelosi, who are TRYING to get the 1% to pay their fair share, despite being part of the 1% themselves. That's called putting country ahead of self.
You republicans don't understand that concept, but someday maybe....
Bill, you are wrong regarding Nancy Pelosi's wealth, the Richest Congressmen is M. McCaul, R. Tx. worth $300 million, D. Issa is wotrh over 200 Million, Nancy is a piker comparatively speaking, only worth 35 million, she does not rank among the top ten. Over in the senate, you got Kerry, Rockeffer, Blumenthal, d. Feinstien. Your information is false and so is your premise that Nancy Pelosi is unwilling to raise taxes on the rich, look who the big rich boys and they are in the House. Get some facts before running your mouth.
Obama 2012
If Obama believed in higher taxes, then why isn't he paying them? Anyone can pay more taxes they are free to pay as muchs as you want, over your required. Obama has a Democrat Congress to pass any tax laws he wanted, but did nothing. That tells you he has no intention of having the rich pay more taxes.
OBAMA 2012 ................. OBAMA !!!!!!!
Dear Mitt, In the immortal words of Ivan Drago "YOU VILL LOSE"
WRONG
3 more days and we will have an answer
Would be wonderful to see Romney lose big and Ryan lose his House seat. Win-Win for the country.
amen!!!
Only problem with Ryan and the lose, lose; Walker gets to appoint and the seat stays in Republican hands, but at least will get rid of Mr. Personhood.
Obama 2012
Amen, I am praying for the GOP to lose every seat across America..
Vote a straight Dem Ticket..2012
Yes that would mean more taxes for everyone, more debt for everyone, higher fuel prices, higher utilites, and food prices, more people on welfare, and dependant on the government. Boy doen't that sound great. So you must want to live in a country like Greece then, because that is where Obama is leading us.
Mitt Romney's campaign is now a "movement". Couldn't have said it better myself.
Paul Ryan is reporting that he actually WON the NYC marathon in record time.....ooops.....back to the soup kitchen......
Romney in Ohio 30,000 people Obama in Ohio 2,800 people we can see the campaign movement it surging toward Romney there hope in the air
Grasp at whatever straws yuo can.
Didn't bother to read the whole article, but I am so glad to hear Romney has a Movement, Now maybe the poor man will be able to walk normally. Bless his heart.
Romney went too far with his lies about Jeep in Ohio and it is backfiring against him.
But that is Romney he is telling lies that scare the people and hurt the company that employ them. So that movement you see is disgust.
This piece of crap Romney is what they want to sell to us as presidential material. Romney does not care who he hurts for some perceived political gain.
At least Romney's so called lies are not getting people killed. Obama has been a world wide joke, now we have a chance to finally add him to the group he helped promote, the Unemployed.
psssssst, Obama is trending up. Time to panic GOPers!
Hey remember the GOPer that killed himself a couple of weeks ago when it looked like Obama was going to win?
Could GOP mass suicides be just around the corner?
Obama is going to lose he is trending down and smaller and smaller groups of people are attending to listen to his tired message of attack and blame with no vision for the future and a horrible record as President shame ,shameon you Obama but in 3 days you can run off into the sunset with a large pension for life and staart making money on speaking tours and some of the fortune you have ammasssed with your books and investments in China. Not that I'm blaming you but stop being a hypocrite
Wow Bill, that is a bad case of Romnesia. It is Romney with all the investments in China not President Obama. In fact it was Bain who pioneered shipping American jobs overseas for profit.
Even to this day Bain is moving American jobs and closing a profitable plant to make even more profit by moving it to China.
If Romney wouldn't even try and stop Bain who he is still invested in, from moving American jobs to China, you really think he is interested in stopping anyone else?
What horrible record? With Romnesia you think bush and the republicans left us with a good economy that President Obama somehow broke instead of the truth that President Obama pulled us from the cliff of depression and if the republicans would do something other than obstruct jobs our country would be in much better shape.
The republicans have voted down anything and everything that would create jobs even for veterans and now want to turn around and blame President Obama for the lack of jobs instead of their votes.
"What horrible record? Could not agree more
It is time finally to get rid of this Obamanation of a president. He makes Nixion look like a saint, with Fast and Furious, Libya, and the other coverups (no one got killed with Nixion). The Trend is for Ronmey, and so far the polls are still using the 08 voting system for polling numbers. I still believe that most people don't like the trend for the last four years. Are you better off then you were when the "recovery started in 09?
Waren, Unemployment is still higher then when Obama took office, the national Debt is over 16 Trillion and still growing, More people on food stamps, more then 25 million under/unemployed. Blaiming Libian killings on a movie, instead of saying it was a terrorist attack, like it would blow his "Alcadia was dead". Stimulas hadn't worked, Spending on Green companies hasn't brought jobs. After spending Trillions of dollars is anyone except his friends better off today? I think not. Past presidents except for FDR would have gotten us out of this depression by know. He is good at pitting groups against each other, but not bringing the country closer together. I would say it is harder to make a list of good things he got through, then the list of things he did that made things worse for the country.
CNN is reporting that Lyin Ryan is requesting $2 million in his defense budget for CHASTITY BELTS......
Your monkey in chief is ruining this country
Your sheet is showing...
Cowboy, could you get any more ridiculous??
OBAMA support ABOTION and HOMOSEXUALITY. obama will force you to pay penalty health insurance even if you don't have a job. obama will increase debt and your kids will pay the consequences . obama has proved himself that it's a incompetent leader....only a fool will vote again. no jobs, high gas prices, high foreclosures......on top sandy.....we need a change now: Romney
he ain't fo obotion......
Plumb LIne
That post just bought you a comfy cot in a an Arizona FEMA camp.
Obama will say what people want to hear .... He is good at tickling peoples' ears ....
Smart talker ... but whack leader
Yes because mitt romney has never has never told pepole what they want to hear.
As much fun as it is arguing with all these Teabag Republicans on the boards. We need to be sure and vote on Tuesday and GOTV to support the President. Whether we vote because we love our country and want to see it moving FORWARD. Whether we vote to punish and get revenge on the Republicans for all their treasonous behavior during the last 4 years. Whether we vote for both reasons. Get out and vote.
Obama/Biden for Real Americans
Just LIVE on NBC News:
Our empty-chair progressive-Socialist anti-business community-organizer with no experience eye-candy Honey-Boo-Boo-endorsed David Letterman & View-indulging President Barry Kardashian Obama just spoke from the Situation Room -
and reiterated that full force of Federal Government is investigating a right-wing YouTube video behind storm Sandy!!
are you on psycho tropics ???
No kidding! bpepik, PUT THE BONG DOWN!
7 REASONS GOD IS AGAINST OBAMA:
1..Abortion.
2. Homosexuality
3. Less liberty and less freedom. (OBAMACARE--they will force you to pay penalty fee if you don't have a health insurance. We as people has the right to choose for my health outlook not to be mandated by force). God has provided this Land to progress and be free land. We're turning like Socialist countries.
4..OBAMA is against Catholics and Christians. Muslim faith is not the same as Christians. Christians believe in Christ
5. POOR CHOICES in ECONOMY....getting in debt more than 6 trillion debt in 4 years, pretty much you're NOT thinking about the future's people. HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT AND GAS PRICES JUST FOR NOT INCREASING DRILLING PERMIT SO IT CAN RELIEF people's budget with low prices.
6. LIE AND CHEAT, giving free pizza to student in ohio to vote for him is NOT RIGHT....cheating Latinos young kids with immigration status is CHEATING. Obama uses promises to coax and give false promises....A lot of obama's promises NEVER fulfilled since 2008.
7..ISRAEL....Obama is not supporting and pretending to be in business with them. Anyone against Israel will be destroyed based on bible promises. Israel is the heart of our believe: christ....anyone against them, better be off and careers be destroyed. I think 4 more years MORE BAD things will happen as SANDY..in leaders relied all the responsibility. Remember Moses and King of Egypt before the king let Moses go. The punishment is and the King and his people.....BETTER THINK DEEPLY FOR A TRUE CAUSE IN ORDER TO VOTE: YOU CHOOSE
GOD will let people to choose whatever we decided(God believes in freedom to choose, speech, etc). But if We choose wrongly, WE WILL PAY THE PRICE SO BADLY. SANDY IS ONE SMALL THING...
one reason God will smite Ededede....cuz she is ignorant.....
Your make believe invisible man will do nothing. He doesn't exist.
Blah blah blah close minded bigotry blah blah blah. Yet another mindless example of religion being used as a tool to marginalize those who are different.
Reasons We Care What YOUR God Thinks:
1. None.
