The winner selected and scored tellers, soon declared Romney the winner of the debate. Under what political
guidelines, human, and integrity, was the winner selected? The first stage of control for resolving the true winner, is “How many in percent of the articulated political statements weighted against the regulatory fact sheet were considered to be factual, human, practical and honest for the people of our country? ” in this case a very large percent of articulated political, human, budges, statements from Romney, that in less than a week switched for far left to center politically guidelines, later all political claims were found to be lies!! So, here we go! We declared a liar the winner! An un-factual contender, with an open multiple failure of honesty, and truth!! The second statement falls in the realm of highest level of human behavior. This consists in stating the humane facts, the advantages of their future political position for the people, and leave not to be bully, or demanding, or defamatory out of the encounter. Unfortunately Romney fails this second criteria by pushing his weight and wishes over the Moderator, he has a control job to do, and by consistently demerits the opponent with lies, and changes in political positioning to create false advantage in the quest to the presidency!! The last, and third failure, Romney presented many phantom budgets proposals changes, and new political roads from
previous stance to an audience of over sixty five million viewers; this is again a failure of honesty, truth, irresolute indecisions in the highest levels of human relations, because he again contradicted himself from previous solid political plans, in the previous total plans to serve his people of the USA if becoming president. Finally a winner was named, that by no means it was a winner, and the minds of whole USA citizens, has been smeared with untruth till the confused citizen may select the wrong/right leader in the White House! For all the rest of the USA, the ways of selecting a winner from a “Presidential debate” will have no meaning until the laws of truth and decency are respected by the contenders signing the proper ‘Honesty declarations” perhaps it will
work better if each presidential contender will speak to the nation, and a fact sheet given to citizens to review and selection! All this inequities need to be change by voting full Democratic ticket, rejecting Romney, as the citizens later are the ones that pay the full price of an unjust, egotistic, bully, money hungry, selfish presidents that sinks the whole nation into the abysms of economical desolation, wars, and death that very well may last for decades!!

Initially it appeared that Romney was a good salesman, or businessman. But when the lies were revealed, and his flip flop claims were caught, there was no doubt that he's a fraud. Being a liar and fraud is not Presidential, not acceptable by the majority of America. Romney is simply a dishonest person that can't be trusted. His history with Bain proves that. He even lied about when he left Bain. And that was a written statement that could be interpreted as a felony, it's illegal to falsify a legal document associated with a political campaign. Romney can't be trusted, too many lies.

Where are Obama's College Transcripts? Did he really register as a Foreign Exchange Student so he could get preferential treatment? Is that why he won't show his college transcripts or is it because he still claimed to be a citizen of Indonesia when he was accepted at Columbia and Harvard? And how did he get into Harvard and how did he pay for it? Obama is a fake and not exactly truthful and you know it. Liberals are simply denying that their President is simply a miscreat on top of being lazy.

As for Obama supporting the use of Coal: Being the Liberal that he is Obama is trying to kill Coal as a viable fuel source for creating electricity or any other use. Could be why the Coalminers hate him so much.

I, like Gov Romney, have been in business for over 25 years and I know that if I didn't pay taxes on money I had in Europe, the Carribean or any where else I would be arrested and going to jail no excuses. We're Republicans and unlike the leadership of the Democratic party (A new report just out from the Internal Revenue Service reveals that 36 people in President Obama's executive office staff owe the country $833,970 in back taxes. Ain't that wild?) we pay our taxes.  

One more thing: Obama just spent 150 Million AMERICAN tax dollars on a business that failed before it even opened it's doors. Gov. Romney is right; Obama doesn't pick the Winners and Loser's he just picks the losers to give our tax dollars to.

I watched a few minutes of a Romney campaign stop today... Lots of right wing clowns standing in the pouring down rain... Mitt was up on stage telling rapid fire lies as fast as he could talk... one impossible claim after another and the people just ate it up... It was like they didn't think about the fact that only a god could make all these claims really happen... It's very scary to see so many people who don't realize it's all B.S. to get elected, after that it's too late and the suffering begins!!!

I voted for Obama, and I think he's not lived up to anything he sold me on. Perhaps you all could help me out? I want real stuff though -no "myths". What's better now 4 years out and why?

For Romney, I see there are "27 myths" that he said -whatever a myth vs a lie is I don't know. Unfortunately those "myths"/"lies? are not listed in this story.....and it does look like Obamas people are doing what they were expected to do: Convince themselves Obama won the debate no matter what happened.

For example: I never did find on Mitt's site where he said he is going to "kill" Big-Bird. I love Big-bird. Where is his site that says he will dismantle Sesame Street (like say Obama disected NASA?) Are 47% of us on welfare? Is that one of the myths? Also, which is more important, Sesame Street or NASA? Please help me.

I wonder for those of you that believe PBS could not survive on it's own merit; do you regularly tune into FOX "News"? I do think that Obama performed terribly and seemed unable to effectively respond to Romney's attacks. As with any debate, the truth is often the victim no matter the party affiliation. Whether the candidate be Republican or Democrat, it's always a good idea to check the facts and the points on their arguments. Every election is critical because it has consequences. Since this one seems more ideological than others in the past, the outcome may be even more critical!!!

Romney did not win the debate. He simply changed his entire campaign and policies. His new persona was so far from his original policies that it was impossible for anyone to debate him. The President chose not to point out this severe departure from Romney's professed policies and that was a huge mistake. He chose to address what Romney was saying in the debate and most of it was moderate and reasonable so he appeared to win the debate. Expert lying by Romney, poor decision by Obama. Can't wait for the next debate when the President will hopefully call Romney on his 180 degree reversals of past statements.

For the past four years, Obama’s full time job has been “president”. For more than the past four years, Romney’s full time job has been “running for president”.

Based on his performance in the first debate, it is evident that Romney has used that time wisely. Romney was obviously more prepared for the debate than Obama.

First of all, Romney was prepared to hurl a barrage of criticisms, accusations, denials, distortions, inaccuracies, pseudo-facts, spin, and zingers at Obama. That barrage was so immense that Obama was unable to challenge most of the items in that barrage. In other words, Obama got blitzed.

Secondly, Romney was prepared to do a major etch-a-sketch on a number of issues where he had been losing to Obama in the polls. As a result, Obama had to contend with a pseudo-Romney, instead of real-Romney, on those issues. In other words, Obama had to shoot at a moving target.

And thirdly, on a number of issues where he had been evasive in the past, Romney was prepared to be evasive on those issues, without appearing to be evasive.

As Newt Gingrich might say, Romney was prepared to say ANYTHING to win that debate.

Romney also showed more guts than Obama did. At one point, Romney said that Obama was not entitled to “his own facts” on the issues. That took a lot of guts, as Romney’s campaign has been based on Romney-facts (that is, pseudo-facts which distort Obama’s policies and which whitewash his own policies). Furthermore, the major themes of the Republican convention were based on Romney-facts.

Obama lost the debate in the sense that he was unable to adequately explain his policies, and he was unable to adequately respond to Romney’s blitz, flip-flops, and evasions, in the 45 minutes that he had to do so.

Romney won the debate in the sense that he threw out a number of Romney-facts, he flip-flopped on a number of important issues, he evaded answering a number of important questions, and millions of Americans do not realize it. And millions more do not care.

Let's end this right here and now, Obama won the debate.

Now I know why Romney has a constant frown on his face (ever notice it?). He is considering which lie to spew forth. MHRJHN, if you don't want to watch Public TV, only watch the reality shows your mentality shows you prefer! PBS has quality programming because they do not pander to advertisers!

I understand that there is a secret strategy at MSNBC is to declare Obama the winner of the election, even if Romney gets more electoral votes. Romney will win the election, but no one who watches MSNBC will notice. MSNBC will simply broadcast video tape of old Obama speeches, to show that he is still active and doing his job in the White House. Since every Obama speech is essentially the same speech, none of the MSNBC viewers will notice.

It's brilliant!

When one spouts "fact check," one needs to observe what was said. And BOTH sides of the issues were just as guilty of avoiding "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth." Politics as usual. And the media gets richer, while John and Jane Q. Public go broke.

We need honesty and compassion in our political leaders, not greedy b@$t-_++$. But, that's what we have in Washington, D.C. Who, in their right mind, is going to spend billions of dollars to get a job that only pays a fraction of that. Oh! I forgot. Not one of them are spending their money. It's money they get from people looking for favors of one sort or another. And those favor seekers, from both sides, are going to spread as many lies and half truths as they can, and as P. T. Barnum once said, "There's a sucker born every minute," that will fall for those lies and half truths.

We all need to be aware of ALL the facts, not what is put out in the radio, over the phones, and over the airwaves, but what has actually been proven by a non-biased source.

Romney, you continuously switch your wrong political policies and proposals thinking you will confuse the
citizens, and gain political grounds. Your lies feed your ego and increase your enthusiasm for the White House. The size of the bag full of ghostly promises you carry with you to each one of your speeches to the middle class increases day after day. Your lies delivered tom the people is getting better and better, and your hypocritical promises for a better Americas if you become president have no logical base, and not budgetary arithmetical truth! Since you were told by a bunch of mental derelicts you won the “Presidential Debate”, failing to tell you also deceived seventy five million people, to include Obama, all the way trough the 90 minutes duration of your well rehearsed political performance! You truly have become cocky, and too confident! You think you are on a political success roll on winning the Presidency. But Romney, your lies have not yet been fully discovered by the middle class! The mass of the seventy five millions viewers that saw you putting fake political proposals will come to realized you were lying all the time! The American people are smart, they are analyzing each minute of your clownish performance, and then will pass final judgment on your mix intentions, and cockiness in changing political positions every day to get people thinking you will be a better president in body and soul! Soon the
finals curtains of your show will come down and the seventy five million viewers will leave your theater, and condemned you performance as ridicules, and labeled you a charlatan trying so hard to be a President. People of America, vote Democrat and raise the curtains of our Obama’s American live Theater to the next play of full prosperity, protection in foreign policies, full employment, health care for all, protection of the old, protection of
women rights, schools for all students, government jobs, food for the poor, fair taxes for all, no wars we are military strong, and rescue ours brother heroes from Afghanistan, and protection and service for all citizens!

How many of you that are making comments have ever participated in a debate? As for the 47%. I happen to have the priviledge of helping needy families arount holiday time with food and Santa bringing gifts and even trees. When you walk into a house with 5 children in designer clothes big screen Tvs, video cameras taping Santa and the mother has a new suv and no father in site drawing off the system it makes you wonder. They are programs available for the children such as Head Start from 6 months and up so the mother can work. The system cant get anything from the father. There are jobs and programs to make them self sufficient. I dont mind deserving individuals getting help but it shouldnt just make another child and dont worry about bettering your childrens lives or yours. There are Veterans in this country that are homeless and cant hardly get the help they need due to the bureaucracy and paperwork. Obama is not a Commander in Chief and never will be.

There is light at the end of this tunnel. Some of the comments were thoughtful. A few were even factual. Most were neither.

After reading this article, what it's basically saying is that, after realizing Obama had lost the debate, his campaign fired up the machine and got all of his supporters out on the social media sites to help counter the fact that he was trounced, and they were effective in doing just that. Essentially, they are saying "yeah we lost, but it was because you cheated". Hey, loser, you still lost.

Being an undecided voter at this point shows a lack of ability to comprehend the facts, and is just unbelievable to me.

Americans have such a short term memory and get side tracked so easy, like Adhd. One debate and they forget Romney has switched positions on almost every policy in the time he has made a run for pres in order to sucker the right wing Christians into liking him.

He bought his way into Mass, and now doing the same in DC. Just look at who funds him and who do you think his focus will be on passing policy.

If Mitt wins we will all be sorry. But many won't care as long as he is Republican. That is all that means anything to the lemmens.

People need to grow up really. We have a person running for president that until recently own stocks in Chinese companies, ships American jobs off to foreign counties, has off shore bank accounts, will not release any more tax statements for fear that America will see the truth, wants to take America to more unfunded wars this time in Iran, Syria and continue to occupy Afghanistan so that his cronies can get rich while America becomes a third world country. Amazing is to the ignorance in America today.
