Biden tells DNC: Recovery isn't complete, but 'we are on our way'

In a speech that alternated between a fierce defense of President Barack Obama and strong attacks on the Republican ticket, Vice President Joe Biden accepted the nomination to run for a second term at the Democratic National Convention Thursday night.

Biden focused on two of Obama’s biggest decisions -- to order to green-light the raid to kill Osama bin Laden and the approval of the taxpayer bailout of General Motors and Chrysler.

Vice President Joe Biden delivers his speech to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“Because of all the actions he took, because of the calls he made, because of the determination of American workers, and the unparalled bravery of our special forces, we can now proudly say what you’ve heard me say for the last six months -- Osama bin Laden is dead, and General Motors is alive,” he declared.

Alluding to the still sluggish economy, he said, “Yes, the work of recovery is not yet complete, but we are on our way. The journey of hope is not yet finished, but we are on our way.  The cause of change is not fully accomplished, but we are on our way.

Biden said, “We know we have more work to do. We know we’re not there yet. But not a day has gone by, in the last four years when I haven’t been grateful as an American that Barack Obama is our president -- because he has always had the courage to make the tough decisions.”

Vice President Joe Biden speaks during the final day of the Democratic National Convention at Time Warner Cable Arena on September 6, 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

With the monthly jobs report for August to be released Friday morning, Biden underscored the importance of creating more employment. Obama “knows that creating jobs in America -- keeping jobs in America -- bringing jobs back to America -- is what the president’s job is all about.”

The most recent jobs report for July showed 12.8 million people seeking work and an 8.3 percent unemployment rate. Another 8.2 million were working part time because their employer had cut their hours or because they were unable to find full-time work.

The vice president said he would tell the audience about “the Barack Obama I’ve come to know. I want to show you the character of a leader who had what it took when the American people literally stood on the brink of a new depression.  A leader who has what it takes to lead us over the next four years -- to a future as great as our people.”

Biden said, “Barack and I have been through a lot together these four years. And we’ve learned a lot about each other. One of the things I learned about Barack is the enormity of his heart. And I think he learned about me the depth of my loyalty to him.”

In return, Obama opened his own acceptance speech by praising Biden as “the very best vice president I could have hoped for.”

The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza, Democratic strategist and former top advisor to VP Al Gore, Michael Feldman and President of the Center for American Progress Neera Tanden talk about what President Barack Obama needs to say in his speech to lay out a vision for the next four years.

The vice president said that he and Obama were better able than Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan to understand what middle-class families have gone through.

NBC's Chuck Todd compares the Republican National Convention held last week in Tampa, Fla., to the Democratic National Convention.

He used much of his speech to taunt Romney who he said thinks “it doesn’t much matter where American companies put their money or where they create jobs.”

“The most fascinating thing I found last week was when Gov. Romney said, that as president, he would take a jobs tour. Well with all his support for outsourcing -- it’s going to have to be a foreign trip,” Biden joked.

Related: Romney says he doesn't plan to watch Obama's speech

When Obama signed the taxpayer bailout of General Motors and Chrysler into law, Biden said, he understood what some of his advisors did not, that “this wasn't just about cars, this was about the people who built and made those cars. And the America those people built.”

Biden complained that even though Romney grew up in Detroit and his father George ran American Motors, “he was willing to let Detroit go bankrupt.  I don’t think he’s a bad guy ... I’m sure he grew up loving cars as much as I did. What I don’t understand, what I don’t think he understood” is what “saving the industry meant to all Americans, not just auto workers.”

Alluding to Romney’s role as president of the investment firm Bain Capital, Biden said, “I think he saw it the Bain way. I think he saw in terms of balance sheets and write-offs. Folks, the Bain way may bring your firm the highest profits. But it’s not the way to lead our country from its highest office.”

Biden’s son, Delaware Attorney Beau Biden, put his father’s name in nomination for vice president, telling the convention that “the most memorable moment of the past four years was not something most Americans saw. It wasn't even on American soil. It took place in Iraq, at Camp Victory, where I was stationed.”

There on July 4,  2009, the vice president led a naturalization ceremony in one of Saddam Hussein's palaces for a couple hundred men and women from all branches of our military

“As he led those new Americans through the oath of citizenship, this celebration of democracy in the land of a deposed dictator, I was struck by the strength and diversity of our country,” Beau Biden said. “I was reminded why we as a nation are stronger when everybody has a chance to do their part. And I was reminded of everything President Obama and my father have done to guarantee that chance.”

We do know what Obama's was after 2008. An $800 billion dollar stimulus for Green energy companies and Unions.

Hypocrisy is thinking the Democrats aren't going to owe paybacks for all the millions donated to them.

Right, $6 trillion of new national debt in less than four years and record unemployment numbers for 43 months. We are "on our way" somewhere, and it isn't good. We are going to be another Greece, only on steroids.

I wounder if these rich guys that are giving 100 million to the Reps are going to ask the government to pay them back after Obama wins. They are going to say, But we were told Romney would win and he didn't. We want our money back. Just like they did when walstreet fell. The rich got there money covered and returned. Working people were left on there own. But as always the rich were made whole. People the only way we brake this selling out of American is to vote against big money. Don't let people like the Koch Brothers buy your vote so they can get richer. Look at what they did in WI. They own Scoot Walker lock, stock and Barrel. And Walker does just what the Koch's tell him to do. They are getting there investment back 100 times over. We need to hand the rich people that spend all these money, we need to hand them there a$$es by re electing the president. I say let these people that think they own this country but refuse to pay there taxes should go live where their money is. They are not Real Americans.

Real American is a real FRAUD.

You Libtards always seem to miss the big picture. You tout Blowbama's "small ball" and cave when it comes to the REAL issues. The national debt just turned over to 16 TRILLION dollars this week. How much of that was Jokebama's and his FAILED policies at throwing good money after bad? 6 Trillion dollars. The unemployment numbers are actually up around 18% with the G-6 adjusted figures. The so-called 'shovel-ready' jobs that the Vacationer-in-Chief seemed to think would save the economy were all phantasms, by your messiah's OWN ADMISSION. Your Pretender-in-Chief 'passed' Jokebamacare in the middle of the night, WITHOUT the approval of Congress, all the time telling America that we could find out what was in it AFTER it passed. And what did we find out? It is the LARGEST tax increase in history and steals $725 BILLION form poor Medicare to pay for your 'routine healthcare'. We have the LARGEST number of people strapped to your socialist-loving leader's Welfare state -the largest number EVER of people on Food stamps, he panders to whatever special-interest group that he thinks he can buy their votes, he flip-flops on issues when he sees fit only to fulfill his left-wing radical agenda, he invokes Executive Priveledge on a whim, to save either a sc*mbag crooked attorney general who blatantly LIED about Fast and Furious, or to cover up life-threatening leaks as they pertain to our military, he has spent MILLIONS of dollars having ALL of his records sealed, he has direct ties to Communists, Muslims and their extremist organizations, he has allowed 3,000,000 ILLEGALS into the country (in an election year, no less) and has given them free jobs (if there are actually any left) free education, free healthcare, and all just to get their vote, he hasn't met with his jobs council since MARCH, he has allowed the smearing and lies and prevarication and unfounded character assassination of Gov. Romney, and allowed his minions to run free with baseless accusations of wrongdoing, all the while denying any knowledge of said events. He has NO record, NO ideas, NO solutions and he runs on the 3-D platform...DECEIVE, DENY and DEFLECT. He has apologized for America at every turn and has bowed down to world leaders in this day and age of nuclear threats with no remorse whatsoever.....My god. How can you POSSIBLY defend this man and his dismal record? His FAILED economic and foreign policies? Beacuse he has his own beer recipe? Because he can 'speechify' ? Talk is cheap, and no one can afford his beer. You ceremoniously cling to the Blowbama bandwagon even as your savior drives it right off the cliff. It is a 'Lemming' mentality and it is truly out of touch. We have HOPE come Novemeber, and it is time for a CHANGE.

Republicans: I've got mine, you get yours.

Democrats: I've got mine by hard work along with a lot of help from others. If you are willing to work hard, we will help you get yours just like others helped us.

I think we would do better to focus on policy rather than name-calling. Here's one little bit that is very important for my household: Romney wants to 'close tax loopholes' - not on the tax avoidance schemes concocted by the Swiss bank account holders, but on the middle class. He calls the home mortgage deduction a 'loophole', and wants to end it.

That will raise taxes on my family by about $10,000 a year! How much will it raise yours?

This was the CNN Money headline in Bush's last month of office:

Job loss: Worst in 34 years

Employers slashed 598,000 more jobs in January as unemployment rate climbed to 7.6%.

Here was last month's number from the Bureau of Labor Statistics:

Total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 163,000 in July.

Tomorrow's numbers look like they'll be even better.

      There's your choice.

Mr. A....And the only plan Romney has to create jobs is more tax cuts for the rich. Obama wants tax cuts for small business. If tax cuts for the rich worked we would be drowning in jobs.

Why are you living in the Past Americans First?

I really cant blame you for using the good old Blame bush argument. Its not like Obama can run on his record.

Bush isn't running for office Obama is. Obama has had 3.8 years and spent trillions of dollars to try and fix our economy and has failed.

Do you really think the 23 million unemployed Americans are more concerned with who to blame or concerned with electing someone who can really fix the economy and get the private sector to start creating jobs again?

The Unemployment rate when Obama took office was 7.9%, its currently at 8.3% and has been above 8% for a record setting 43 months.

This is Obama's economy. He owns it. He wanted the job and he got it.

Obama had his chance now its time to give someone a chance who's depth of experience is magnitudes deeper than community organizing.

Yeah give it back to the same morons with the same plan to take us back to the same crap we were in 4 years ago. Let me put it in terms you might understand. You have a football team winning some games but not all. You want to get rid of the coach so you go looking around for another one. You pick a coach that wants to use the same playbook that a former coach used but never won a game as a matter of fact your team had the worse record in the history of the team and the lowest morale. The team at least now although not winning every game is starting to ban together and could go to the Superbowl but noooo let's put in the coach that will definitely crush the team. I am throwing the ball to the existing coach and hope the team wins the cup. Wise up and put your balls on the winning side.

Disclosure forms reveal that Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has preached that all Americans should pay their fair share in taxes, but a government report finds that tens of thousands of federal employees — from staffers in Congress to federal agencies and even Obama's executive office — collectively owe the government billions in back taxes.

Data from the Internal Revenue Service found that more than 279,000 federal employees and retirees owed $3.4 billion in back income taxes as of Sept. 30, 2010.

The data showed that 467 employees of the House of Representatives, or about 4.2 percent of the workforce, owed more than $8.5 million. In the Senate, 217 employees, or about 3 percent of the workforce, owed $2.13 million.

Obama's staff was not immune, either, with 36 people in Obama's executive office of nearly 1,800 workers — about 2 percent — owing the government $833,970 in back taxes.

Ex-US officials investigated over speeches to Iranian dissident group on terror list

Speaking firms representing ex-FBI Director Louis Freeh and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Hugh Shelton have received federal subpoenas as part of an expanding investigation into the source of payments to former top government officials who have publicly advocated removing an Iranian dissident group from the State Department list of terrorist groups, three sources familiar with the investigation told NBC News.

      ...

Freeh and Shelton are among 40 former senior U.S. government officials who have participated in a public lobbying campaign – including appearing at overseas conferences and speaking at public rallies – aimed at persuading the U.S. government to remove the MEK from the terror list.

      First-class flights
Many of the speakers have received fees of about $30,000 or more per talk and first-class flights to European capitals, according to two sources familiar with the arrangements.

Edward Rendell, a former Pennsylvania governor and ex-Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, whose speaking firm also received a subpoena, has received $160,000 over the past year for appearing at about seven conferences and rallies, including some in Paris, Brussels and Geneva, according to his office. Now the Reps think want us to give them the keys back knowing they are still drunk so they can finish us all the way off. The Reps tried to take us back to slavery when Reagan was elected. Bust those unions, send those jobs where they still have slave labor. So these self appoint Real american, invest the money in other country's even Communist China. And many other Communist country's as long as they have cheap labor. Real american's and then hide there money so they don't have to pay taxes. Real American's my ass.

People, this is very simple. Simple enough that I'm not surprised many of you are incapable of getting it.

I am a Republican and recently became one. I speak for myself and myself alone. Like many others, I have been accused of wanting a complete turnaround or a complete healing. I didn't expect that but what I did expect was progress toward such turnaround and healing.

The Obama supporters are no different than the Bush supporters and vice versa for the detractors. We put a new face from the opposing party yet little has changed. People are still out of work and struggling, we still have troops abroad, we still have Guantanamo Bay open.

Want to raise more tax revenue? Put more people to work. Simply raising taxes on higher income people is putting a band-aid on a shotgun wound and may very well cause those people to divest their funds.

The President talks of moving forward yet we continue to look backward. We had promises of deficit cutting and lower unemployment, both unfulfilled. The Republicans are blamed for so much that I see the Democrats as impotent, unable to lead even though the President and Senate Majority Leaders are both Democrats.

We had a health care plan passed with Nancy Pelosi saying "gotta pass it in order to find out what's in it." What will happen to the people whose employers drop health coverage? Those people will have to either buy their own or go on a government issued plan.

When President Obama took over, I was hopeful but that hope has eroded over time. In 2008, I had a new A.S. in Computer Information Technology degree. Three years later, I earned my Bachelor of Information Technology degree and have no job.

Broken promises have come from both parties and more people need to see that.

The Democrats had exactly 24 days in Congress where they could pass bills without any Republican votes.

And since the Republicans have all pledged themselves as Grover Norquist's block votes, they decided that obstruction was more important than their country.

Where do you get your facts American?

The Democrats had a Majority in the House and the Senate in 2009 and had 60 votes in the Senate, a filibuster proof majority.

            Don't you remember?

That's why the Dems had to get the PPACA bill passed, and did it on Christmas Eve of 2009, because Scott Brown had just won Ted Kennedies, Senate seat, was going to take his seat in January 2010, and the Democrats had lost their 60th vote.

I realize there are many new people in here but hopefully a few will realize the difference between unsubstantiated opinion and facts. I'm sure you are proud of the little clicks that you get for votes but that doesn't mean a damn thing.

Whats matters is if you are actually making people think.

I asked you a couple of days ago if you had reevaluated the wisdom of calling other people stupid. I see you haven't.

I believe that is what Republicans usually refer to as a deflection, not an answer. One of the things I enjoy about the GOP is the razor sharp wit of it's current crop of supporters - that would be sarcasm for the uniformed (e.g. GOP supporters). One thing you didn't see in Tampa last week, even though it supposedly would have been convenient because of travel costs, was a job fair for rocket scientists. But since most of you are charter members of the Flat Earth Society, perhaps that's not a good career choice anyway.

Hilarious isn't it! Maybe they should just set contrarian goals for themselves, so when they fail, they actually succeed at what they wanted in the first place like: we are not going to start anymore wars, we are going to help a democrat stay in office and succeed, we are not going to write religion into policy, etc.

I'm just glad that they are as good at running campaigns as they are at compromising.

                guy,

I'll type slowly so you might understand, but I doubt it.

EVERY time a new President is elected, the opposition party has the goal to make him serve just one term. Democrats sought that with Bush and failed. Republicans sought that with Clinton and failed. Democrats sought that with Reagan and failed. Democrats sought that with Bush, Sr., and were successful, as were Republicans with Carter.

                Engage your brain and learn.

                  You still believing that stuff?

                  Decibella

Why did obama extend them? Why is it that when he first came into office, he could have passed JUST ABOUT ANY BILL HE WANTED to include CLOSING ANY/ALL 'Loop-Holes'.

But he didn't, Why? Now he is standing up there and Comdending the companies and people who are USING these LAWS (Mind you these are the SAME LAWS HE COULD HAVE CHANGED BUT DIDN"T).

Why is it that NOW THEY ARE EVIL and are Sucking the very Life out of our counrty.

I'll tell you why, If he cvan get you all fired up about what HE SAYS is an injustice and tells you enough time, Even tho you know it is wrong in your own mind, you Begin to believe him

Now that you are all fired up about the "RICH", HE Knows that he has kept you business enough building anger over that, that you will FORGET to Question HIS WORK (Or more Correctly, LACK OF WORK)

He Talks about how Evil the rich are yet he did not give it a second thot to give GE (A company that used these loop holes), who made over 94 BILLION DOLLARS got a REFUND from the Gov't. (Also GE Cut over 25,000 jobs in the USA and opened 32,000 in china, also, GE also is in the process of opening 2 new plants in China to the tune of over 2 BILLION DOLLARS... Side note... GE donated over $499,000 to his election)

Where is your OUT RAGE at that?

What about the Solar Comapny that he approved a loan of OVER 500 MILLION Dollars and then 8 months later APPROVED an other loan for over 140 MILLION DOLLARS and right after that they went Backrupted. (But they did throw him a FUND RAISING DINNER at $45,000.00 a Plate)

Where is your OUT RAGE at that?

Obamas BailOut for GM... (He broke the law and Paid off the UNIONS FIRST and companies that had a SECURED CREDIT were given Nothing). He Braged about a MILLION Jobs saved... Well according the FACTS about 150,000 jobs were save. And these do not include the companies Down Stream from GM went Bankrupt...

Now.. General Motors Co. announced the temporary suspension of Chevrolet Volt production and the layoffs of 1300 employees, as the company is cutting Volt manufacturing to meet lower-than-expected demand for the electric cars.

Where is your OUT RAGE about that?

See What I was saying, While you are so occupied by the 'RICH', all this other stuff is going on that HE DOES NOT WANT YOU TO SEE....

Stop and think... Is your Anger towards the rich really Justified, or is it something HE TOLD YOU YOU SHOULD HAVE?

Turn your ANGER where it belongs... BACK at Him.

America you side with people of this thinking and we will always be at war and once again struggling to make ends meet. Nothing is ours by divine right, you have to earn it not take it. Who the hell do you think you are. A fascist/bigot and obviously a very, very stupid man that is what you are. With your kind running this country it will truly go under. You are not a true American or a good Christian. And believe me God is not with you. God wants nothing to do with your kind. Even the Republicans don't want anything with someone like you.

                  Concerned...

At this point I'm fairly certain Mr. A is just a joker having fun intermingling Republican talking points with Republican stereotypes. I refuse to believe that even a die-hard republican is dumb enough to sincerely believe what he said above. However, anything is possible since they have really worked hard to pander only to extremists in this election.

Tax the rich to much and watch them leave. Who will be left to pay the $16 trillion debt?

Chuck, do you know David Koch? Radical liberal talking points always goes after the Koch bros. Apparently you do not know or even care all the good they do for the country. I am happy they provide hundreds of jobs in my county that pay in excess of $30 hr. and excellent benefits.

Biden did a fabulous job. I'm so happy this convention went so well. I hope Obama gets a chance to finish what he's started. I don't' agree with everything represented but his vision is more in line with mine than Romneys.

I'm tired of the radical left and right. Can't people view the positives and negatives without being so mean and vindictive. I worry about our country when I read the horrible posts on all sites.

Both candidates and parties have a vision...accept them for what they are and make your decisions accordingly. No need to be nasty or to bash the other side.

Thank you, Beth. You are entirely appropriate in your call for civility. That's the way political discourse used to be. Candidates provided zingers when referring to their opponents, but there was never such a visceral polarization as we see now.

Obama and Biden baby! Great speeches wrapping up a wonderfully inclusive convention that really focused on inspiring people. I'm glad to see that they had such a large and diverse turnout at a pivotal moment in American politics.

We are better off, because we no longer are losing 7000 jobs per month, instead creating new jobs.

We are better off because the economy is growing rather than contracting at 6%.

We are better off because the DOW is up over 5,000 points in the last 4 years.

We are better off, because Osama is dead and GM is alive.

We are better off, because we no longer are fighting war in Iraq and spending billions of dollars of US tax payers’ money there.

We are better off because we now have a well defined policy in Afghanistan, and we have dismantled the Al-Quada.

We are better off, because we have a president who is working to build the middle class everyday.

Yes, but more work needs to be done but we are much better off that we were in 2008.

We have more unemployed/under employed, worker then we had when He took office. After 4 years we are growing at less then 1.5% that is not even considered growing. Stagnet is more accurate. Bin Lauden is dead, yes with the hard work done over 10 years has paid off, because of the countless hours, and people working on this, GM would have been around if it were alowed to go bankrupt, and would have come out leaner, and better shape then it is today, and it would not have cost the taxpayers billions of dollars to save Union jobs. Our troops are still being killed over there, but now Al-Quada knows it just has to wait, before taking over both countries. Inside a year they will be back to there they were in 2000. And all our progress we made will have been waisted. Not to mention all the lives that were lost. Our current policy is to leave, you are on your own. How is the President helping the middle class? Giving away Billions to companies like Solyindra? Is it saying "I feel your pain"? Are we better off, H@ll No, we are bankrupting our future generations with huge debt, We have lost our ability to choose our own doctor, we are paing twice for products in just 4 years. If i were a member of a union then possibly I could say yes with the spending the president has done, but the only ones I see are better off today is the Unions, the Larges Banks, and the Presdent's buddys.

Yeah, and I enjoyed that commemorative fly-over by W of Tampa in a Cessna 172 ... he's pretty good at observing disasters. And where was "Sure-Shot" Chaney this year ... wasn't he get reimbursed for speaking? What about the Queen of Mean, Sister Sarah, the Mother of all Grizzlies ... for some odd reason, nobody - not even Faux Noise who was sending er a check - put her in front of a microphone last week. But, I did notice that Lisa Ann (feature dancer and star of "Nailin' Palin") was giving command performances all week in Tampa; nice family values.

Note that Obama's rivals, from both parties, are productively serving the current administration and the country as well as standing up for him. It just about killed Santorum to mention Myth Romney's name and none of his other primary opponents were given the opportunity to endorse him last week ... several have notably not yet. For a guy that's an expert at organizing things and getting people to work together --- he's got a funny way of going about it.

I feel really sorry for you right wingers. You are missing the whole point of being an American. You are missing the whole point of living in the most incredible human experiment in history. We are a community, a place where every single person has equal value and equal rights and equal responsibility. If this country is only a place where you live and study spread sheets, then you might as well live anywhere. This place, this country, is the hope of the world. We are the shining city on the hill, but only if we include everyone. Only if we let go of hate and fear and embrace hope and faith and dare to believe in one another.

Right wingers only know trying to force their limited view of morals on others. While advocating more tax cuts for so called job creators, but those tax cuts DO NOTHING. Why should we cut taxes for people who are not generating jobs here in US? Companies building jobs here in US should get a tax credit BUT tax rates do not need to be lowered on the wealthy and in NO circumstance do dividend taxes need to be lowered that's the stupidest idea ever.

The fact is, we pay for the lifestyle we expect. Without taxes, our lifestyles would be totally different and much harder. America would be a third world country. The less we pay, the less we get in return. Americans pay less taxes today since 1958 and is ranked 32nd out of 34 of the top tax paying countries. Chile and Mexico are 33rd and 34th. The Republicans are lying when they say that we pay the highest taxes in the world and are only attacking taxes to reward corporations and the wealthy and to weaken our infrastructure and way of life. So next time you object to paying taxes or fight to abolish taxes for corporations and the wealthy, keep this quote in mind…

“I like to pay taxes. With them, I buy civilization.” ~Oliver Wendell Holmes

This is the argument of a true moron. Government may provide these services, but at 5 times the cost and 1/2 the quality of what the private sector could produce it. Government providers are inept and inefficient.

I want some of the drink the Reps are having. Ryan is already shown to be a layer. He was not feed the right info. When he tried to hand a plant closing in Ohio onto the President. The facts are that the plant in question closed under Little Bush. Well Reps were never much on the truth anyway. Why tell the truth when a lie will do. Ryan will look like the layer he his, when Joe gets done with him. He will want to take his ball and go home. He will tell Romney he wants out, because he can't lie and get away with it...

Then Reps always hope people are not watching. That fool Mitch McConnell said it right to all of us. My job is to make sure that Obama is a one term President. Who in the hell does he work for. Its sure not America. But I forgot, only Reps are real american's. And good Christians too. RIGHT...

Chuck - Your objection to some people having more than you is what??? The problem is not the 'haves' but the clowns who sit in DC (elected by all of us) who look first to themselves, and then again to themselves. And they can hang around doing nothing because we put them there. Too many have legal backgrounds to ensure that nothing is ever done easily. Too many lawyers equals too many answers. Two answers, at least, for every lawyer. Easy math test.

Recovery is not complete, wow this guy is a rocket scientist. If you liked the documentary obama 2016 then you will want to be sure and buy the new book coming out soon, it is an auto-biography titled AN IDIOT IN THE WHITE HOUSE THE OBAMA STORY and it revolves around a little boy who screamed racism, and then became a teenager and screamed racism, and became a little man and screamed racism, and ran for president of the U.S. of America and screamed racism, and then became President of the United States of America and continued to scream racism in spite of the fact that he has never been a victim of anything other than the bad joke god played on him by making him a crying complaining idiot who has it all, but whines anyway. Good story line and great title AN IDIOT IN THE WHITE HOUSE THE OBAMA STORY available in bookstores and brothels soon. Use your EBT card to buy it or obama your welfare momma can take some more money from the middle class to pay for a free copy for all the current freeloaders.

PAID FOR BY THE RE-ELECT AN IDIOT CAMPAIGN with donations from dumbocrats EBT cards that surprisingly still had a little change left on them even after the strip club, booze and casino expenses.

Starting wars, giving tax cuts at the same times. Little Bush thinks when you use a credit card, you really don't have to pay it back. And that is who you follow. Tells us all allot about Reps. Don't it.

With Joe, would would not even put the word "bright" in the same sentance decribing him. The day after their convention we have a record bad jobs report. and if it were not for the 400 thousand former workers just giving up the unemployment levels would be a record lows. But no one want to use the new 14.7% unemployment rate.

Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden couldn't
balance a pizza on a half sheet of plywood, much less a government budget. The two of them, separately, or together, in their combined fifty plus years in congress, have never been members of a congressional majority that has ever balanced a government budget, ever. All right, that actually only adds up to just five years working in congress and forty five plus years running for congress, but still, Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden have never been members of a congressional majority that has ever balanced a government budget, ever.

Generation X will not live long enough to pay off the debts of Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden. The children of Generation X will not live
long enough to pay off the debts of Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden. The grand children of Generation X may yet live long enough to pay off the debts of Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden , if we stop them NOW, and they extend the life expectancy of the grand children of Generation X,
                                          another hundred years.

If we don't stop Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden, NOW, the great great grand children of Generation X will never live long enough to pay off the debts of Barack Obama and the Reverend Jeremy Biden.

You're right about one thing. No one is going to 'live long enough,' if Romey/Ryan have their way because they will screw everyone out of Medicare with a measly voucher that won't cover @!$%# and you'll be left to die.

It took Bush 8 years to destroy us, that didn't happen in 4 years either. It takes over 4 years for administrative policies to take hold.

The democrats have had control of the nations check book since 2006. The housing melt down was caused by the democrats that ease lending and forced banks to give loans to people that could not afford them or have any money to put down on a home making it ease to just walk away.

It really is funny that the Dems had to bus people in to attend their moment of lunacy. I wonder how much each seat cost the DNC to fill those seats.
