How does one forget the time they ran in the one and only marathon they participated in? If I completed a marathon and never did one again, I would have the time burned into my brain.

How do you accidentally state under three hours when it was over four? You don't. he was called out on it and said it was a mistake. Would he still be claiming under three hours if no one called him out on it?

When Ryan says he's "running" for office, he isn't kidding. My problem with Ryan is that, like Romney, he is bought out by the oil, insurance, and drug companies. Medicare is fine the way it is. The only problem is that it should cover everyone instead of just those over 65. They manage it on only 2-3% of premiums paid. That compares with 20% and more of premiums paid by the health insurance companies. Romney's energy policy is good for oil companies and no one else. Ryan has apparently been caught at requesting stimulus money for his state while knocking the stimulus idea. These are the things the election is about. The election isn't about marathons.

Up until a few months ago Medicare was on its way out if Romney became President. It wasn't until he started getting booed that he changed it to change. Ryan's plan does away with it all together or at least it did also up until he became the VEEP now as with Romney it is change for those 55 or younger. So much of a change that Medicare will not exist and those over 55 will only have it until the money runs out which will be sooner than projected because those 55 and younger will no longer be there to help support it. As for our new Affordable Health Care Law Romney still has in mined to repeal it he just isn't talking about it again since he was booed for saying so at an NAACP rally. The thing about Candidates running for office of any kind they will tell you only what you want to hear and if you don't like it they learn not to talk about it until after they are elected. So I hope people understand and remember what this election is about and how it came to be President Obama wasn't able to get much done. He stated that it was Obama's fault the plant closed when it was decided before Obama was elected to close the plant. It seem that people are backwards these days. Where is your common sense? I was even surprised an article like a marathon time mistake makes headline news. It was a MISTAKE of Ryan's, not a LIE.

People are crazy, you are probably right, on some level. If the SS fund investments were safe with some firm like Berkshire-Hathaway that would be good. The first document that Presdent Obama presented was a "Certificate of Live Birth" If you don't accept that then I don't accept the "Certificate of Live Birth" that Romney presented as his supposed birth certificate with Mr. Trump beaming beside him! There is one thing I know for certain. President Obama could not go back 47 years (from 2008) and retroactively get his birth in the Vital Statistics section of newspapers printed that many years ago and have been microfilmed like Mr. Romney could file delayed income tax returns to retroactively make himself a resident of Massachusetts inorder to run for governor. Yes, the Vital Statistcs section! Not the society pages where Mr. Romeny's parents may have paid to have his be placed.

Regarding the Stimulus, some of it was tax cuts for the middle-class which was not done ostentaciously like Bush did with checks in the mail and his name all over it, but quietly. You can also ask Ms. Bachman and Mr. Ryan since they requested some of it. Also Governor Perry of Texas. Saw lots of photos of Republicans, who said the stimulus would not help, standing by officials of their states with large stimulus checks and smiling real big like the money that they voted against came from them.

Regarding the recovery, there are two interesting books about the ploting and planning of the Republican House of Representatives and Senators. Newt Gingrich was at the meeting on the day President Obama was inaugurated (and Paul Ryan too). Newt was interviewed and asked about book and he did not deny what the book said. Let's just say, any statement that they hoped the President would succeed would be a lie. Rush Limbaugh wished that President Obama would fail and they plotted to make his wish come true. What in the world did you think Senator McCormick, and other Republicans, meant when they said their number 1 priority was to make him a one term president? No prority whatsoever for jobs or the economy. A former Republican Senator reported that if Obama was for it, they had to be against it. So, that covers the bipartisanship topic as well since that assumes that the other party is open to negotiation which they clearly were not.

Alright no-more-for-44, I'll take a whack at your list, and I won't even use google:

College transcripts? Who f'ing cares. No president has had to release these before, they are sealed as personal info by colleges, and why should you care if a candidate got a B- in Literature Appreciation?

Economic recovery? Its been stalled by the Ryan and TEA Party led Congress (perhaps a little overblown giving Ryan that much credit, but he is their numbers "guru"). Every single effort by this Administration to do ANYTHING about the economy has been slow walk or stalled. Maybe it would have worked, maybe not, but we'll never know because the Republicans blocked every effort.

Where did the "stimulus" go? First, 1/3 of the $800 billion were in the form of tax cuts--opposed by every economist--left, right or center, to try and get Repub votes. no luck. Most of the rest was doled out to the states to let the individual states determine how the money should be spent--a nobel idea demanded by the Republicans and acceded to by the Dems to try and get votes. No can do. Also, many Repub governors--including Perry in Texas--used the money, not to put into new construction, but to offset their own HUGE budget shortfalls. It made state's like Texas' bottom line look good for a year or two, but nothing for economic recovery. The rest? Who knows, but it is definitely the smallest piece of the pie.

Where's all the shovel ready jobs? Once again, ask Perry et. al. what they did with the money. We were assured by the Repubs that the state's would best know how to use the money. Who could've guessed they would abscond with so much of it? Well, anybody who'd watched the "conservative" movement pull the biggest heist of public money in history.

Where's the 6% unemployment rate? I'd say look at the previous two answers, but that might require some reading comprehension, so lets go with--REPUBLICAN GOVERNORS! Repub Governors have been slashing their public workforces in the name of "austerity" and tax cuts for the wealthy for the last three years putting teachers, cops, and firefighters on the street. Countless economists say the direct impact of this has the unemployment rates a full 1% higher than it should be based on the 4,000,000+ jobs the private sector has added since 2010. Add in the indirect cost of these folks no longer gaining a wage (and spending it) and the added suck of unemployment insurance and welfare, and you might add another 1% of unemployment (and since you and I are not economists, who knows what the number might be).

Fast and Furious documents? Who f'ing cares. Even IF one border agent was killed because of this policy (not proven, and credible evidence indicates this was a rogue operation out of the Phoenix field office and the US Attorney there), why aren't you up in arms about Cheney's energy summit from 2001 and the Bush Admin's charge into Iraq on false charges? You know, those docs they've refused to turn over, yet led to the direct deaths of 5,000 or so US, 10's of thousands of Iraqis, and the maiming of a million. Maybe 2?

Birth Certificate. Seriously. He's shown it publicly. Short form. Long Form. CIA, FBI, DIA, NSA, and a whole spectrum of others in the alphabet soup have vetted it and it ain't no issue. If all those agencies have been suborned, then give it up because you and Orly Taint don't have a chance.

Transparency and bipartisanship. The first half HAS been problematic, and I for one wish he'd have done a better job of it. A lot better. The second half of your statement, seriously? You would hold the President accountable for your champions' saying before he'd even been inaugurated that they would obstruct everything? Obama threw away single payer to try and get Repub buy-in. He threw out the public option. He put tax cuts into the Recovery Act when every economist said double the size and "fudge" the tax cuts. He included foreign car makers in the "cash for clunkers" package at the insistence of Richard Shelby (R, Ala), who than voted against the bill any way. Every single attempt to do anything has been spat upon by the R's, and you'll blame the President?

Who runs for reelection...yada, yada, yada. How abou the Admin that saved the auto industry and killed bin Laden? Lily Ledbetter? Ended DADT? Expanded our military bases in Australia? (okay, I ain't a fan of that one, cuz I'd like us to bring our empire home, but I wish the TEA Party traitors would stop claiming he's gutted our defense.) Been the best friend Israel has ever had, from the mouth of Israel's Defense Minister, no less. Took the first steps towards reforming our bloated and inefficient health care system. I could go on, but you wouldn't listen anyway.

I know enough about investing to know that friends of mine who relied on "experts" lost over 60% of their money and ruined their retirement. Let's get Medicare for All discussion back on the table. Remember a president is not a KING!!! They need support from Congress. Take notice of who your Senator and representative is. If they are up for election, find out who wants single payer health care-i.e. Medicare for All. If they are for it vote for them. If they are against it, don't vote for them. Medicare for all will not happen with just the president wanting it. He is not a king. Medicare is fine if it is simply left alone and expanded to cover everyone. Seniors have been loving it for decades. It is literally a life saver for them. It could be that for everyone. As long as we let insurance companies run the show they continue to steal more than 20% of premium money paid for administration. This compares with 3% by Medicare. 17% of the money paid could be going toward caregivers and medical professionals instead of greedy insurance companies.

Bipartisanship always sounds nice. But when it comes to Medicare for All, Republicans block it because they are completely bought out by the insurance industry. There can be no compromise here. We can either be all insured for less taxes and insurance premiums than we are paying now, or we can keep on with 50 million uninsured and keep paying more for health care than any country in the world.

Health insurance companies that Republicans like are very good at making people think they are covered better than they really are. And they don't find out until they get sick and it's too late to change it. And they're too sick to argue. Insurance companies exploit that. It cost my neighbor lady $175,000 to die of cancer. Their insurance company, who had been collecting huge premiums from them for decades refused to pay and jeopardized their life savings. She felt a burden to the family, along with dying of cancer. We are the only country in the world with this happening. After months of sweat and anxiety following her death, the state attorney general fought the insurance company and got them to pay $150,000 of the $175,000. THESE GREEDY INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVE GOT TO GO, ALONG WITH THE REPUBLICANS CONGRESS PEOPLE WHO ACCEPT MONEY FROM THEM.

This guy doesn't really seem to be very good with numbers of any kind. He seemed to get some numbers wrong about dates too like that 2009 comes after 2008. He demonstrated that little misstatement when he blamed Obama for the GM plant closing in Wisconsin. He has had some problems with numbers on his taxes too. And then there's the mere 700 plus billion of Medicare that he forgot he was using. Maybe it was just an "honest" mistake? You've got to wonder how many other honest mistakes this guy has made with numbers.

I don't think he demonstrates any mastery of numbers at all. He said this was a misstatement. That is just so numerically inefficient because he could have described this error using far less letters. Only 3 letters would have said it to be more accurately. As in "this was a LIE".

Obama did not deny any Christian their national day of prayer. Instead, he extended it to all religions and didn't prop up Christianity as the end all beat all religion that must eradicate all other religions. If you want a Christian day of prayer, by all means pray every damned day. You are not being denied that. However, leave the national day of prayer open to ALL religions and just the one you think is the right one and damn the rest.

Paul Ryan, like anyone else, had to train to run a marathon. He had to put forth a lot of time and effort to finish the race. It's not believable he can't even remotely remember his finish time.

I can still remember my time from a 10K that I ran back in 1989. Paul Ryan's miss-statement of his marathon time by over an hour comes across as crass bragging. It also makes him look stupid if he can't remember his time. Neither of those traits are desirable in a vice president, a guy who is just a heartbeat away from the presidency.

I like how people attack them over things that we all do, it is called a fishtale. everyone has one. I don't think people get it, they are for things such as family values but they know they have to work at it and be corrected every once in awhile. Just because they are for something doesn't mean they are perfect at it. And for his stance on when drafting bills has a check and balance that we all get to see before they are passed. So if there are mistakes or something we don't like then we speak out. I see some angry people that have put their faith in the government to do the right thing. Serious this administration should have shown you not to do that. Were they all there due to the rape I endured? Again I highly doubt it.

Were they there for personal reasons that are sanctioned by a legal amendment? Yes, and I never asked them because it's a very private matter. Abortion is not like a miscarriage where friends, family and strangers even feel comfortable talking about it. Abortion is private, causes dissention (see Janine above) and strangers even feel quite comfortable telling others they will go to Hell for murder. Oddly these strangers that have no problem with war time killing (equivalent to murder, as it is state sanctioned murder and these people would still go to Hell). Equally, they have no problem with the Dealth Penalty and want it carried out immediately. This is also state sanctioned killing/murder, and the executioner would stil go to Hell. It's quite perplexing to me their version of who is right and who is wrong. In the end it seems that they are right and everyone else is wrong.

Has anyone else noticed that almost every time Romney is asked a question, when he half cocks his head with a minor tilt to the right and smiles at the person asking the question, is he besmirching the person asking the question or is he laughing, with disdain, at the people that want to know his honest answer?

I think he's also looking down on us as if to say, you're a fkn piss ant, now, go away, you're bothering me!
