what a bunch of "morons"........... what the hell is wrong with "sane" people, if any left? These people, like C. Rice, are wanted for war crimes Bush/Cheney did for actions in a false war - "Iraq" ..l no Weapons of Mass Distruction, our young kids gave their lives for these folks "oil riches"............not for any other reason. What a shame on us. When will the GOP Idiots get the hell out of our country. We do NOT want two classes - Rich and Poor, Middle Class must not be history, we need to fight for our rights. Obama is the right choice for us - YES, again as we did in 2008. Wake up folks, smell the coffee. The GOP lies so much they now believe their Lies are real, how sick is that? GOP must be put in their place and NOW1

Hey Frank... So... you want to be deeper in debt? Obama has spent more in his 3.5 years in office than all the other Presidents put together - from G. Washington to G. Bush... You want BIG business bailed out? What about the mom-and-pop small businsses? You know... the 'rich' people who show a profit of $250,001 or more... The same people who break their backs and rack their brains over making a budget for their stores/shops and must pay everyone and re-invenst in their business before they take a dime home. How about your medical? While I agree that the system is broken and needs to be fixed, I sure don't want the govt. involved in MY medical plan (while we're on the subject... take a look at page 107 in Obamacare). Why did Obama APPOINT his czars instead of running them through the Senate to be ratified? Who knows anything about these people EXCEPT king Obama? And, oh by the way... If we were in Iraq for the oil, WHY THE HELL IS THE PRICE OF GAS GOING UP HERE IN THE USA???

Same old lies repeated over and over and expect others to treat them as truth? no way.

Frank - It's only the left that promises to leave the country if they don't get their way, but they never do. BO (aka Stinky) is a failure. His policies have failed. It's time for him to go.

We gave him a chance, we hired him because he's black. We're firing him because he's failed. I'm not knocking him. Lots of people fail at their first job. He can hold his head high and say "I tried. I stunk."

I'm sure you'll find that once you get yourself out of Dad's basement, and try to make it on your own, you'll see that "hard work", not "freebies" are what make this country great, will make you feel better about yourself and stop blaming others....I suspect you'll be fine, Frank.

What I find interesting. Liberals are viewing what they determine lack of exuberance as lack of interest. What liberals are missing is the serious nature of how those on the right are viewing this election. Whooping and hollering is one thing... but there's a level of seriousness conservatives are showing that is totally confusing liberals. Hey liberals, you are looking in the face of determination.

Next week, there will be a party... but with the amount of Muslims that are predicted to be at the convention, that party may be a little different. The make-up of the DNC will include plenty of Obama slurpers... but there will be an interesting dichotomy of attendees.

RealAmericansFirst - determined to continually disregard the failures of Obama... Continually determined to try to say the conservative side is irrelevant... Determined to prove that lackluster employment is somehow good for this country... Totally disregarding that 8.3% isn't healthy for this country... Totally denying that $5.3 Trillion in additional debt is devastating our economy.

I dunno, but it appears to me that some people will want to run back into a burning house for no logical reason.

Like I said yesterday, this was propaganda strategy used by the Soviet Union and the Nazi’s.

“Tell a lie enough times and people will believe the lie”.

Why do they lie? Because they know that people are too lazy to find the truth or it justifies those people's means.

In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.

MSDNC at it's finest.

Condoleezza Rice was awesome ! No teleprompter needed for this former Secretary of State ... she hit a grand slam and left the RNC audience stunned with her brilliant remarks. Along the way, she alluded to the WEAK and INCONSISTENT foreign policy of Barack Obama. She talked about American exceptionalism while Obama tries to push the U.S. to mediocrity !! Her endorsement of the Romney/Ryan team was STRONG, partly because she does not want the U.S. to gut the military as Obama is intent upon doing.

To quote from a debate recently from Ireland's President Higgins, "They're a bunch of wankers."

I don't think the world will have to worry too much about these demented people getting into office of the Presidency again right now. We must all be vigilante and keep posting the truth about the lies they spew and soon they will inwardly spiral into the abyss of darkness and evil from whence they came and of what they represent. Other than the "red meat" base of this out of touch party, most people in the world are tired of the war mongering, race baiting, hypocritical propaganda that this bunch of society dregs represent. As Mick Jagger once sang in a song, "They are practiced in the art of deception".

Did you teapugs listen to the speech by paul ryan, most of his attacks against Obama were based on lies. Do you really want a president and vice president that got there positions by telling whoopers? Even when it is pointed out to them that all of the factchecks show that they are lies, they either change the subject or say they are not going to run their campaign by factcheck (meaning facts).

Let's look at the facts vs what was said by the liars on that podium yesterday....

http://news.yahoo.com/fact-check-ryan-takes-factual-shortcuts-speech-070905927.html

The fact is that the GOP has just been spinning and spinning and were hoping that their lies would re-write history, but unfortunately for them, they are running out of their thread of lies.

US has one of the very few growth economies in the developed world, thanks to the President. He has tried to achieve everything he promised, in just 4 years, even in the face of GOP obstruction. Mitt Romney is already talking about not being able to fix the country before his 2nd term when he says "We'll be balancing the budget by my 2nd term..." when this President has almost achieved the unachievable in 4 years. He wants to raise taxes to cut the deficits but who is obstructing, the same GOP which then goes and touts that this administration is running up huge deficits. GOP policy is self-promotion, to hell with the country and the poor and middle class.

He [Paul Ryan] lied about Medicare. He lied about the Recovery Act. He lied about the deficit and debt. He even dishonestly attacked Barack Obama for the closing of a GM plant in his hometown of Janesville, Wisconsin -- a plant that closed in December 2008 under George W. Bush. He also failed to offer one constructive idea about what he would do to move the country forward.

Here is Barack Obama's Main Accomplishments

    Barack Obama's Main Accomplishment:

Signed the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA) Bill into Law allowing any US citizen to Be Detained WITHOUT trial (A federal Court Blocked it in May because it Violates the Constitution, but Obama is not trying to get it UNBLOCKED!). (Source: )

He has Killed HUNDREDS of Innocent people (Including 3 American Citizens) in Pakistan and Yemen with Drone Strikes (He’s Ordered even more drone strikes than Bush!).

The rate of National Debt under George Bush was Around $60 Billion a Month. Under Obama, it’s been $190 Billion a Month, so that would be Nearly $600 Per US Citizen (Thanks Obama!)

Obama Care: Page 22. MANDATES, The Government will Audit Book of ALL Employers who Self Insure. Page 50, Section 152, Health Care WILL be Provided to ALL Non US Citizens, Illegal or otherwise. Page 126, Lines 22-25, Employers Must Pay for Their Part time Employees Health Care AND Their Families. Page 127, Lines 1-16, The Government WILL Tell you How much Money you can Make.

Obama has By-passed Congress to Enable the DREAM Act (Unconstitutional to By-Pass Congress, and the Illegals he allowed to become Legal Citizens has Committed over 19 Murders and Over 142 Sex crimes).

Obama Claims he Campaigned in 57 States (Maybe he wasn’t Born in this Country?).

Lets Vote Obama and the Democrats out in 2012 and Replace Them With Third Parties.

UK has Tory = Republican government and France had republican (Sarkozy) government but both of them failed miserably and their economies tanked in last four years. How do you think just by having GOP will change the global recession? On the contrary USA (and Australia) are the only two economies to show positive growth in the developed world!

How will cutting taxes, cutting oversight and cutting benefits to elderly make economy better? You bet that didn't work in last ten years.

One can say US is lagging due to Obama if US was the only country doing worse economically than others. On the contrary, even Chinese economy is cooling down. The point is, having a president who will do the bidding of the big corporations and fool common people like you in to believing that root cause of their peril is the medicare and social security spending is NOT going to make this country any better.

My opinion is the Republican /tea party sucks and they lie though their teeth. Ryan failure to say that he lobbyist for money for his state and go it. did he say anything about that No. The goal of the the Republican/tea party is to push women back an minorities in the past. Their goal is to have a tea party President in 2016(Koch brothers). Romeny is going to be a puppet of teh Koch Brother, they will tell him how high to jump. Also the speeches, Anne, Cristy and other only mention Romney one time in their speeches, so what does that tell you. Wow! Ryan is truly impressive! Frequently presidential candidates will pick a doofus like Biden as their running mate to so they can look good by comparison. Other times they will pick a VP just to bring in a particular segment of the electorate, as with Walter Mondale's choice of Geraldine Ferraro. The fact that Romney has chosen Ryan shows that he has a great deal of self confidence. More importantly, it shows that he is assembling a top-notch management team. As a businessman, he realizes that a tough challenge, like undoing Obama's mischief, will take the very highest quality team to accomplish.

Romney chose a running mate who is smart and tough and who can best help him fix the mess this country is in. Maybe bringing in votes in critical battlegrounds would have been a better choice, but it shows that his priorities are our country first; politics last. … Just the opposite of Obama.

The other speeches were pretty good, too.

By the way. National average for unleaded regular gasoline was $1.84 when Obama took office, now is $3.80. (pre-hurricane price). Also, Obama added 5.4 trillion dollars to the national debt in less than 4 years. G.W Bush added 4.9 trillion in 8 years and yes, he did have to fight Al Qaeda, bail out NY city and all the airlines and ramp up national security, so money well spent.

Yes, G.W.Bush spent 700 billion on Tarp to bailout the banks and prevent an economic collapse and most of that money has been repaid with interest, not all, but most. Obama spent 831 billion on stimulus and none of it will be repaid, with or without interest, it's just gone.

Also, people can actually LEARN over time. This current ticket knows that going back to Bush ideas is false. God forbid someone change their stance on something. You democrats obviously don't care about the future of this nation with all your spending. So Bush screwed up. How long are you gonna cry about it instead of fix it?

According to Madeleine Albright the other day, Democrats have NOTHING else, so they have to "blame Bush forever". It will work for their base through eternity. They've built a religion around hating Bush, and President Stinky (aka BO) is their lord, master, and high priest.

all being republican means is that you want to do what you want to do and not have the government controll your life. THATS IT. you dont have to be rich or racist or a controll freak. i have a friend who lives in his damn van and has very little income who still is republican. Stop bashing our party. yes ryan bashes obama and he doesnt need to do that. Arguing doesnt solve anything. the more libs and conservatives bash the more nothing will get accomplished in this country. and btw bush wasnt very republican. "No Child left behind" was a very big government liberal program. a true republican would never agreee to that program. every man for himself in this land. cant make it then suffer the consequences but dont make others who have pay for it

At the end of the day this is all about a referendum on the current administration on whether they did a good job after 4 years and control over both houses for a period of time before they lost Congress. Performance counts and it does not matter who inherited what or what he said/she said. Performance counts. We need a change, but more important, we need to hold the next administration accountable and to stop avoiding the hard issues. Making entitlements will not occur without hard work. Entrenched interests will not want to change. We argue healthcare like it is the end all be all. You do realize the never touched the state to sate regulations (DOI, DMHC) that drive cost of administration up. Our prosperity must come first and focusing on one segment against the other will not work. As a nation we need to work together versus feeding into slice and dice politics. Time for change. Hold EVERY politician accountable.

IT IS NOW 1:15 A.M. and there are only 20 comments, as I write this. Indicating that NBC just recently put it up. Why, NBC, did you hold back the broadcast until all were in bed? I was not here at 12:00 and it wasn't up. These things would normally come up in minutes. Why was it held back?

                      Bias?

Ryan's was speech was incredible, but I will bet come tomorrow, when people are watching, NBC will not be airing it. Of course NBC can always say it put it up (@ 1:00 am). Let us see how long it stays up tomorrow morning.

And speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt because that crew really knows what's going on and they wouldn't want the sheeple to hear what black and hispanic republicans have to say.

                        Kianne

I am tired of the lies and bashing too.

There is no only for the rich if any of you have any sense, you will realise that the 10 and 15% rate under Bush was for the lower income and middle class. Rpmney is goung to do us a favor and lower those rates to 8 and 10%.

Romney is also doing away with the 15% capital gains tax for those earning under $200,000 which is another boost for the middle class.

The only reason I can think of why Obama NBC did not post Davis and Martinez is because both were former Democrats who woke up and realised the damage that Obama and company are doing to this country.

the hatred and lies you see are coming from NBC as many of these posting listen to the twisted and distorted stories by Maddow,Shultz,O donnel, and Matthews.

As a matter of fact Mathews was already spreading rhetoric on the Ryan speech. He was telling people that the Plant in Wisconsin shut down before Obama took office.

The plant was closing because the market for SUV,s was declining however, Obama while campaigning in 2008 promised GM that if elected he would give assistance to re tool the plant to produce energy efficient vehicles. this did not happen and is one of many Obama broken promises.

The plant actually did not officially close till June 2009 and so Matthews who is kissing up to Obama- Ryan's statements are not lies.

And for you potty mouth Shultz- I am surprised that you are not calling Ryan,s daughter the same names you called Palin and Her daughter, Bachman, etc.

You know Shultz the C*** and SL** words which makes Me think you are a woman hater.

And yes Shultz according to CBO report July 24 2012, Obama did steal $716 billion from Medicare to help pay for Obamataxes which is the largest tax increase on the middle class.

MSNBC is an has been and their lies and rhetoric are being exposed on a constant basis.

politico, tax policy center.fact check, Washington post, New York Times, etc are all part of the liberal baised Obama media.

GAO and the CBO cant even come up with numbers for the Romney/Ryan plans- the only thing said by these government agencies is that history as proved that if tax cuts across the board are done in the manner that Reagan did it, Revenues to the treasury Will substantially increase

Obama is already destroying our country and I suggest that you vett Romney and Ryan before posting.

Bush was part of the estacblishment which is being replaced by Ryan,Rubio,Martinez, and many others.

Romney and Ryan have been known by Democrats and Republicans to be upfront and honest and that is why they are winning the Medicare, economy, and entitlement issues.

The truth on these issues has been side stepped too long and now they have to be handled.

Romney and Ryan are not afraid to tell the people the truth of how bad it his and they are the ones with the plan to fix it as Obama has no plan but to bash these two with false rhetoric.

where is the speech from Gov. Martinez of New Mexico? NBC doesn't want to show a Latina speaking for Republicans? Yesterday NBC didn't show the speech from Artur Davis (a black former representative of Alabama, former strong supporter of Obama, now republican). Conspicuously absent from the news by NBC.
