Wow NBC. What is your issue with ethnic minorities? It looks like NBC is a racist news organization. Not a single one of the many ethnic minorities included in this coverage.

so, NBC and their Marxist twin MSNBC made a point of cutting away from the minority speakers and avoiding any reference to them, to include photos. The liberal media is no better than the Soviet thought police.

And they are controlled by Obama. Obama, Wright, Sharpton and that gang are the only minorities allowed on MSNBC or NBC. I wish they would take Juan Williams.

I love how NBC and MSNBC both "white" washed the GOP convention last night by cutting away from every minority speaker and only covering what the white speakers said and again today by only offering video of the white speakers. This is inline with their narrative that the Republican party is the party of whites only. Anything else would confuse their audience and disrupt their agenda. And if they even mention at all that there are minorities represented in the party they make it into a racist statement that the GOP is trying to put a brown face on a white party. It's always about race with liberals. They see race first in everything, never the individual. And yet they call us racists? More of that quality government education I suppose.

I'm trying to figure out why this NBC website only has pictures of the white people that spoke at the convention? Where's the pictures and comment lines from Mia Love, Arthur Davis, and Ted Cruz? Seems NBC is prejudice towards minorities by not giving them equal coverage. That, or they just want their readers to think the Repub Party is just white people.

How lonely Condolessa Rice must have felt being the the most visible token Black female face sitting up there near Romney. I'm sure Romney had very little intentions of showing too many other ,if any, Black faces after the "warm" reception he received at the NAACP speech. He's already calculated that he would not need the Black vote to win (not). So, I'm sure the RNC is just returning the favor. No matter how human they try to make Romney, it's just no cure for fakeness and disingenuousness.

    Reply#48 - Wed Aug 29, 2012 9:41 AM EDT

There are very few Black Republicans for a reason. The GOP is not willing to BUY their votes with a new freebie of the year plan.

romney is not a career politician like obama. he has not perfected the art of faking sincerity like obama. he's primarily a businessman and problem solver. obama is primarily a campaigner and (in office) a problem creator. obama agitated and protested for socialist aims in college and his early career. romney saved the salt lake city olympics to the extent of a $30-40 million profit.

The destroying of America was exacerbated by the blank check Bush's blank check war (which just about every Republican voted on). Where was the loud cry for budgets and massive spending then. Many innocent Iraqis and Americans lost their lives in that illegal war(Afghanistan not Iraq). Bill, you are a flaming hypocrite right under YOUR OWN NOSE. JUST TAKE A DEEP BREATH. i'M SURE YOU CAN SMELL IT.

      #51.1 - Wed Aug 29, 2012 10:16 AM EDT

hey pete-- i and many other conservatives were aghast at bush's wild spending, not only on the wars but on medicaid and education. rove's idea of trying to out-democrat the democrats in spending was a disaster. however, bill's not the only flaming hypocrite if you bash the gop for afghanistan and overlook obama's clueless continuation of that war. why stay in iraq til 2014 just because you promised to, obama? you haven't kept any other of your promises. get us out now.

Why aren't NBC and MSNBC posting video of the speeches of A. Davis (former African American Democrat congressman from Alabama and Mia Love (African American Republican congressional candidate from Utah) either on their websites or last night during their television coverage. Both were exciting newcomers of color. Seems like the media once again is trying to manipulate the election and the public.

It's amazing that people choose this horribly biased network for their "news". There is a reason Microsoft dropped these idiots. They present the news with a liberal blowhorn as a filter. Funny how NBC only shows the white people in their video coverage of the convention. Like it or not my fellow Americans, President Obama has a horrible record and he will not return for a second term.

Listening and reading the cowardly and spineless comments being made for their economic falings during the past sixty-eight months (Dems took the House and the Senate in 2006, remember) raises a few questions:

      1. What happened during 2007 and 2008 when Dems held the majorities in both the House and the Senate?

      2. What happened during 2009 and 2010 when Dems held the majorities in both tha House and the Senate, AND President B.O. held the Presidency?

      3. What happened during 2011 and 2012 when Dems still held the Senate and President B.O. still answered to the Telepromptor?

You know what happened? NOTHING - B.O.'s mission accomplished!

Now, they want to blame Congress when the Democratically controlled Senate has blocked everything sent to them.

      4. What was the House makeup under President Reagan?

      5. Reagan's policies set the economy back on track for multiple decades? Wow, guess what the makeup of Congress was during those years?

      House makeup during Reagan's years:

      1979-1981 277 Dems 158 Republicans

      1981-1983 242 Dems 192 Republicans

      1983-1985 269 Dems 166 Republicans

      1985-1987 253 Dems 182 Republicans

      1987-1989 258 Dems 177 Republicans

Wow! Democrats held the majorities in the House all those years so Reagn's plans must have been mainstream and not radical. H-m-m-m, maybe that is why so many Democrats crossed over and supported President Reagan.

Very difficult to argue against economic growth, job creation and prosperity now, isn't it?

Yet, very easy to point the fingers and blame everyone else!

Weren't there some other speeches last night? I think there is something very ugly and dangerous going on in how you decide which speeches to include and which ones to ignore. I think it says something about the people who make those decisions.

To SUMKA-;the money to pay for the "wars" did not come from any existing social rather from suplemental defense authorizations that were not part of the budget.

        Reply#62 - Wed Aug 29, 2012 10:18 AM EDT

SmuKa, you are lying about Romney and Paul. ObamaCare is going to take $716 Billion out of Medicare to pay for ObamaCare. You failed to mention that. Pretty arrogant to think folks can't check your BS. Obama has been a disaster for this country and you know it. Yea, and incase you haven't been keeping up with current affairs, Obama is Drone-Bombing Irag, Ahganistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, Sudan and Northern Africa and yep, Gitmo is still open. Eric Holder has sued Alabama, Mississippi, Texas and Arizona for trying to enforce federal immigration laws, but you go ahead and vote for the sob, you must like seeing Illegal Mexicans take American jobs, get free healthcare and free education for their multiple anchor babies. You do realize Obama has raised Welfare, Food Stamps and Disability Recipients from 19 million to 48 million ? You do realize Obama has carried over a $Trillion Dollars in debt every year for 4 years, you do realize Obama has not passed a budget in 4 years. Why is that ? Hell, he can't even get his own Democrat contolled Senate to pass his crap. Hey , you want to talk about Fast and Furious ? Or, how about Solyndra, Beacon Light, Iner1 or Light Source, all Obama's 'green projects' and 17 others that went bankrupt to the tune of $1.3 Trillion Dollars, all gone, every penny, of course they donated to Obama's re-election campaign before they went bellyup. Or, how about the $5 Trillion Bernanke lost in those two Q.E.'s . Or, how about the $60 Billion we lost on GM and Chrysler ? Or, how about the true un-employment at 15%. And gas is back at $4 bucks a gallon. You do realize the takers are about to outnumber the givers. I personally have lost over $67,000 in net worth since Obama got in office. You idiots are gona slaughter the golden goose. WTH you gona do then ?
