I'm on the left, and I am not knocking anybody for saying what they want, even the VERY nasty and harsh comments I have seen. So, let's try to have a little more of an open mind when it comes to how you categorize people. As a mental health professional, I know that people who are afraid of and scared of and who do not like certain groups, especially ones who are different than them, really have thoughts and feelings that support and agree with the group that they hate. For example, people who are homophobic, especially the ones in this discussion board, either are homosexual or are bisexual. You cannot hate something without being scared that you are the thing that you hate. Anyone in this discussion board who is anti-homosexual really is a homosexual.

It is not ok that we continue to discriminate groups and have laws that oppress others. Wake up politicians. In addition, politicians should be able to be who they are and not hide in secrecy and lie about who they are and what they believe in because of stupid ignorant morons, such as the repiglicans, who are really homosexual themselves.

Homosexuals should have every right than anyone else has and they should be able to be honest about who they are without feeling like they are going to lose their jobs or get retaliated against.

America is better than that. Blathering morons... Everyone accusing Frank of the housing bubble burst is nuts. Frank's mistake was not recognizing an impending bubble burst, he did cause it. Greed at the banks did, and we can thank deregulation of banks for that. Also, how were banks able to obtain triple AAA ratings on securities that were heaped with sub-prime mortgages? That wasn't Frank's fault either.

Frank failed to act in time to stop the hemorrhaging that was already occurring. He was not at fault for banks making poor decisions, he was at fault for not recognizing the impending dangers and acting quickly enough.

What I get from this excerpt is definitely NOT him saying Republicans are the Enemy. Will you find the words REPUBLICANS and ENEMIES in the comment? Well, yes. They weren't used in the context of which people are perterbed. The whole speech was about Latinos getting out there and voting, and without being specific as to who those enemies are, how can you be upset over this statement? It seems to me he was stating that if you get out and vote for what you believe in, you are fighting your enemies.
