Republican presidential candidates former Senator Rick Santorum and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney stand before the start of the Republican presidential debate in Mesa, Ariz., Feb. 22.
WASHINGTON -- Rick Santorum is endorsing his one-time bitter rival Mitt Romney in a late-night e-mail to his supporters.
Santorum on Monday urged his supporters to join him in working with the effective Republican nominee to deny President Barack Obama a second term. In his message, Santorum reminded his supporters of areas where he disagreed with Romney during their slog of a primary.
Yet Santorum says that, in his words, "above all else, we both agree that President Obama must be defeated."
During their contest, Santorum bitterly clashed with Romney. At one point, Santorum called Romney the worst Republican in the country to challenge Obama.
The two met on Friday at the office of Santorum's strategist, and Romney sought to assure Santorum of his conservative credentials.

Romney got rich by rigging the system. He made millions in part by loading companies with debt, driving them into bankruptcy, and laying off their workers. The workers who lost their jobs had their health benefits canceled as well—but Romney and his partners made millions.
Massachusetts went from 37th in the nation in job creation to 47th under Romney.
While the country as a whole enjoyed 5% growth, Romney’s Massachusetts rose at 0.9%.
Romney’s economic failure in Massachusetts is especially problematic because the central premise of his presidential campaign is the same as it was when he ran for governor: that he can apply his business skills to our economic problems. It didn’t work. In addition to almost 0 job growth, the state saw a modest decline in real median income.
The Romney recipe of cutting education and job training, forcing higher fees on the middle class, and protecting the rich from tax hikes didn’t work in Massachusetts. But his approach to healthcare did. Paradoxically, the best thing Romney did as governor is the one thing he dare not talk about as a presidential candidate. Obamacare is a conservative version of Romneycare. A solid 62% of the folks who actually live under Romneycare – and its dreaded individual mandate – are satisfied with the results.

After all most of you morons already live in the South and have the worst health and healthcare, the worst public education system, kids testing at the lowest levels in the country. If you look at the vote in the House and Senate on the 1964 Civil Rights Act, you might be surprised to learn that all of the yes votes came from Northern Democrats and Northern Republicans...
Southern Democrats mostly all voted NO, maybe 2 yes votes, in the House and Senate, and I believe all but one Southern Republican voted NO in the House and Senate..

It's interesting that a person who said another was unable to lead now says that person can. Santorum sending an email is an indicator for our country- which by the way "Joe" is not a "leader of the free world", it is one of many that believes in freedom and helps others have or keep theirs.
