Boehner's list includes what his office calls local leaders and job creators hurt by the president’s decision to reject the Keystone XL pipeline extension. They include:
Ray Brooks, Refining Division Manager at Marathon Petroleum Company in Robinson, Ill.
Obama lays out economic blueprint
Jay Churchill, the Manager of Conoco Phillips’ Wood River Refinery in Roxana, Ill.
Dale Delie, president of Welspun Tubular LLC, a subsidiary of Welspun Corp. Ltd, located in Little Rock, Ark.
Nebraska state Sen. Chris Langemeier, chairman of the state Senate's Natural Resources Committee and author of compromise legislation that paved the way for a new pipeline route in the state.

FYI - the Gov of Nebraska did not want the pipeline to go through his state is the most likely reason he was Pelosi's guest. When does the greed stop? Maybe we should run a pipeline through mount rushmore or build a refinery in Yellowstone?
Boner loves to stack the deck. Nebraska was correct in not wishing a pipeline that could have caused serious damage to the water supply, and all they wanted was a compromise which the sitting President has asked for from the Canadians and all concerned. The pipeline choice belongs to Nebraska not Boner and his bag boy Cantor.
Boehner...should have invited his buddy from the National Fracking Association so he could tell us how safe the "pipeline" would be to the midwest' water supply....

Trying to bankrupt America thats what will happen if we the people do not study the true facts about spending money. Most of America has huge debt so they are at home spending to much money and not carring about it, but we as true americans can see that the propaganda has reached all the people and they wont study the facts so we will be stuck with what is voted not what is best for America

Oh, BTW, in case you aren't paying attention, its all capital gains and dividends, which the Republicans want to lower the tax rate to ZERO. So, average wage earner pays social security, medicare, state and Federal taxes on about $52000 of income, say about 30%, multimillionare (who is NOT creating jobs in the US, he isn't doing anything) pays NOTHING, ZIP, ZERO, NADA, NYET, THE BIG O !!!! And you RWNJ's wonder why everyone believes the GOP is only out for the wealthy.
The pipeline is being delayed while Nebraska finds a route that does not threaten the ground water they drink from. There are other accountability concerns in other places as well. Republicans forced a hurried, artificial deadline for the presidents decision, one that they hoped they could exploit. The carrier solvents that make oil sand flow are highly toxic and quickly absorbed into the soil if spilled.
They rushed into Iraq with no plan and they want the pipeline built without careful planning as well. That is the problem with an ideology that is pro-life from conception to birth only. Then pollution, war, inner city handguns, and 45,000 people a year that die because of no health insurance annually does not concern them. In the seventies they defended tobacco companies and criticized Congressional hearings. That was another big killer defense.
You have the right to life, but not the right to live apparently.
Mr Boner would rather scream and holler about what Obama has done than to sit down, decide on a course of action that gets it done by avoiding the "environmental concerns" and move forward getting things done!!!

spartan50 - not true. Nebraskans don not want the pipeline as it is currently proposed. And, I believe you mean childish - just a clue. Liberals don't have a problem with a pipeline that is well planned but this one is not. And, the jobs this would produce are temporary ones. The oil - coming from Canada - not the US. President Obama is right. Let's get our own CLEAN and SAFE energy right here.

I used to live 16 miles from this plant.
It is for the past thirty years held up as an example of how NOT to run a refinery.
Between the fires, explosions, toxic releases, deaths on the job - This is not a company (at least this location) that adhere's to any safety practice, care for the enviorment of for that matter the workers at the plant.
This is the exact reason why Republicans should not govern........ It is also the exact reason this plant is still operating....They have freinds in politics.

The Gov. of Maryland is the biggest flake to come down the pike in quite a while and a certified Obama cheerleader. Why wouldn't he be? Many of his well-to-do employed citizens are employed by the fed. govt. making his state's unemployment level comparatively very low to the nation as a whole.
It doesn't surprise me at all this leech on the American taxpayer was with Pelosi.
I also live close to the Robinson refinery they moved in very large pieces of machinery last summer. They had to block the highway along the route. At the time they said the pieces were for processing the tar sands. The pipeline is going to be built. The president isn't going to allow the republicans to force a artificial time line. He is going to make every effort to make sure the water aquifers are safe.
In his rebuttal Mitch Daniels called the pipeline "perfectly safe". A lot of scientists, engineers and politicians, including the Republican governor Nebraska, disagree with that assesment. It would help if the RepubliCAN'Ts in washington would tell the truth.

He said in his speech serving America, it looks like they are all serving themselves and not America Could we start out with a new group of volinteers to fix things. Wall Street is betting on President Obama to win reelection. He hasn't built up nearly a BILLION DOLLAR warchest from mom & pops sending in money. Wall Street always puts its money where they think the winner is. When they didn't strongly back George H.W. Bush (a/k/a Bush Sr.) you knew he was in trouble.
That should be a signal to most Republicans. The smart money has been staying away from Newt Gingrich like the plague. There is something wrong with the GOP when its "leading candidate" isn't strong enough or smart enough to get his name on the ballet in every state which has a primary (including his home State..... Unfortunately, no one who was really qualified would run or can get the nomination. Between marginalizing the qualified (Huntsman) ignoring the obviously good candidate (Ron Paul) and spending an inordinate amount of time chasing the nut cases (Perry, Bachman, Santorum) the primary season has done nothing for the party except to prove what a bunch of clowns it has.
We can only hope the abject failure to put forth a decent Presidential candidate carries through both houses of Congress and the GOP loses the house and loses seats in the Senate. One can only hope that the Tea Party is a victim of its own success and the lunatics elected last time are removed from office this year.

Boner you invited all your millionare donors, as far as the pipe line, pipe it across the border to North Dakota allow them to refine the oil, then you have a center distribution point with no need to pipe it to Texas where they would put it on tankers and haul it around the world waiting for the highest bidder.
